Over the weekend, I noticed damage on the front portion of my car, and called Lynn on a busy Monday morning to see if it could be assessed. She knew I was worried, made time to look at the car that same afternoon, determined there was no real damage, and dealt with the issue within minutes. The car is operating as good as always. As usual, Lynn went above and beyond to give excellent customer service!

I had almost given up on my search for a new vehicle and trading in my vehicle until I decided to give Bayside Nissan a chance. I called and spoke to Donny Lord and he was AMAZING. We were able to do the credit application over the phone so that way if the numbers didn't match what I wanted then I wouldn't have wasted my time by going in. They gave me a great trade in price and I was able to walk away with the vehicle I wanted and the whole process went very smoothly. I am so thankful for the everyone at the dealership.

I have purchased over 6 cars here over the years and in that time the service continues to be a sore spot for me. It should not take more than 30 min for an oil change but every time we bring our cars for basic maintenance it turns into. 2+ hour wait.

I had an amazing experience from the service department, to sales, to finance. Matt, Michelle and Jamaley are outstanding and I’m so grateful for them. I was having issues with my truck, they were very informative, not pushy at all. I asked to look at a car and fell in love with the 2020 Nissan Maxima 3.3, especially in sport mode (the only mode you need 😂). Thank you Sheehy for helping me get my new luxurious ride! I’m so happy with the service and my purchase. I’ll be back in a few years!

Since 2012, Ishmael was great & pleasant. But, since 2020-2021, that changed. He's not around anymore when I arrived. I ended up with several teams that I'm not familiar. I had an appointment 2 months ago, and, I ended up waiting 15 mins at drop off site, and all those Teams were sitting at their stations doing nothing & no greetings. Herb Gordon had better Teams & I planned to go back, unfortunately, that business Owner passed away. My money kept you guys on the payroll. I didn't get a courtesy calls/emails anymore. Go elsewhere but here. My oil change light showed up 1500 miles early. How messed up is that!!!
I just moved to the area from Baltimore and almost... - Sam1982
I just moved to the area from Baltimore and almost immediately, I had to take my Nissan Quest in for service that I just purchased from CarMax October 2020.
We moved to Temple Hills, MD April 2021 and my Nissan Quest has been in the shop at Passport Nissan almost every week since we moved here. It is now September 2021 and Passport Nissan sees my vehicle more than I do!
I was hoping I could find a Nissan repair shop for my Nissan that I could trust and I would have been a loyal customer..
But Passport Nissan on Auth Rd. has lost my trust. My last straw happened over the last few weeks. I was taking my car in because the engine was shaking a lot when I slowed my car down at the light or just slowed it down. I knew the issue was probably my motor mounts because I had the exact issue before with one of my Honda Odysseys.
I also Googled the issue to confirm my suspicions and Google source said if the shaking stops when I put my car in Neutral, it's the motor mounts. And that's exactly how my car responded when I placed my car in neutral.
My background is Information Technology so I don't know cars but I know Technology and I know how to troubleshoot an issue.
I tell you when I have seen my share of incompetent mechanics in the past few years, that's exactly what I mean.
As a woman, I officially don't trust mechanics and I feel like all they are ever trying to do is get more money out of me.
So once I took my van in again for what I was pretty sure was a motor mount issue, I told by Malcolm that the motor mounts probably weren't the issue and could be something else but that the mechanics at Passport Nissan would take a look at my issue.
I was pretty sure it was the motor mounts but I just said OK and left my minivan with Passport Nissan AGAIN..
Then I got a call the next day basically saying that Passport Nissan couldn't fix my car if I didn't come back to ride with the mechanic so they could see what I felt the issue was because they supposedly test drove my Nissan Quest and felt no shaking.
I didn't believe them and I felt I was being lied to. I felt that I was being inconvenienced for something that wasn't necessary. I didn't know how me riding in the car with the mechanic would ensure the issue would recreate itself either.
And after being a loyal customer for 5 months even with my trust wavering of Passport Nissan, I felt like Passport Nissan should know my minivan by now to be able to look under the hood and find the issue without me riding in the minivan with the mechanic.
I also felt uncomfortable because I had never heard of having to ride with the mechanic for them to know what is wrong with the car if I basically told them where to start looking since I had dealt with the issue about 2 years ago. And the fact that Passport Nissan has seen my vehicle so many times. The whole thing just didn't sit right with me or my ex-husband.
I had told Malcolm I would come the next morning then I remembered Covid which added a whole other layer to my concerns. I texted Malcolm and told him that if they couldn't fix my minivan then I would take my Nissan Quest somewhere else.
Malcolm didn't call me for 2 days so then I called Passport Nissan to see if my message had been received and what the status was of my vehicle?
Did they fix it or not fix it?
Suddenly my advisor, Malcolm, said they could fix my car without me riding with the mechanic and Malcolm said they even went ahead and contacted MaxCare and got approval to fix other parts that they said were about to break or go bad that were under my extended warranty.
Which, honestly, Passport Nissan should have did this the last time my Nissan Quest was in their care (about 2-3 weeks prior to this abovementioned visit).
So, Malcolm says my minivan is ready. I pick it up and not only is it not driving a lot better but the engine light is now on when it wasn't there before.
Malcolm tells me that it's not something Passport Nissan caused when I return for the second time in the last week or so.
I thought it was suspicious that my engine light wasn't on before. Passport Nissan replaced my motor mounts and supposedly did some other work and now my engine light is on when I drive off after just getting my minivan back from Passport Nissan (Camp Springs location).
But it isn't Passport Nissan's fault is what Malcolm is telling me.
I always make sure to contact Passpoet Nissan within 24 hours when I see an issue and I just got my vehicle back.
So, Malcolm says he's going to just charge me a flat rate of $300 which is what he should charge anyway because that is my deductible for my extended warranty.
And this is $300 on top of almost $500 I paid about a week ago for the motor mount issue.
Apparently, it is now my solenoids that they didn't notice were bad and are suddenly needing to be replaced.
But I feel that my deductible would have covered the visit if my solenoid was replaced when I brought in my minivan for the motor mounts.
THEN, I get my minivan back today and my engine light is STILL on. My minivan isn't driving any smoother for all the parts that have allegedly been replaced.
And I'm so sick of not having my minivan to drive my kids around, especially with school and their sports activities have started that I'm ready to dump my minivan back with CarMax.
And I will tell you this. The issues with Passport Nissan started way before my motor mount issue but I don't have enough time and space to write all the bad service I have received since I started going to them just 5 months ago when I moved to the area.
It's disappointing because I was hoping Passport Nissan would prove me wrong and be a repair shop I could trust. But once more, I feel I am being scammed and I'm planning to contact CarMax and the Nissan Manufacturer to see what my options are at this point.
I'm a single Mother. I don't have money to be sucked away by some shady auto shop.
I did contact MaxCare and they said they wouldn't charge me for taking my car into any shop for an issue (engine light on) that basically wasn't resolved in the last visit.
That gives me some reassurance that the car industry isn't totally hopeless but I'm rethinking taking my car back to Passport Nissan Marlow Heights off Auth Rd. again.

THE WORST SERVICE DEPARTMENT EVER. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!
They didn't listen to any of my concerns. They let me drive a car that almost killed us. Then all they could say was "we didn't do anything wrong."
I have owned/leased nissan for 6 years and I have never seen such crappy service.
Now it's time to turn in my nissan and I couldn't be happier, this dealership's irresponsibility and lack of professionalism is so bad that I don't ever want to deal with such garbage again.
STAY AWAY. TRUST ME.
I was denied warranty coverage on my 2018 Altima by... - PEACE
I was denied warranty coverage on my 2018 Altima by DARCARS Nissan of Rockville,MD. My engine got a hole in it and I have 58,000 miles on it but the dealership said warranty did not cover it despite the warranty suppose to cover it until 60,000. The service clerk Gabby was very helpful and professional but it was out of her hands.
I ; therefore, wanted to try to trade it in but because it is still being financed I was having a hard time. The sales team at DARCARS only contacted me twice to say they were trying to find a finance company.
I waited several days without any more contact from the Nissan sales team. Each time I called I was put on hold or given the run around.
I therefore had to get my vehicle towed back to my apartment and will be doing a voluntary repossession of it because I refusé to make payments on a inoperable car,
.I am very disappointed in the sales team at DARCARS and will make sure others know how I was treated. I have always owned a Nissan since 1988.
I will never get another island again…

This place is run by clueless bullies. They harassed my 18 year old son, called the cops on him for opening the door and checking out the inside one of their unlocked used vehicles during normal business hours. I believe they picked on him because he looks young and they thought he wasn't a potential buyer. They lost a potential sale, we bought a car elsewhere.
TERRIBLE Service / Parts Dept. (Timonium Road) - Mickey Mouse
Yesterday, I went into Nationwide Nissan Service Dept. to request a broken plastic clip part for the driver side molding on my car. Ryan looked at the car and stated that he would order two plastic clips for $10.00.
Upon picking up the clips today, he ordered two weather stripping clips which I never requested BUT he said they were missing and costs another $10.00. I noticed the clips for the molding were smaller than a dime , even a chimpanzee monkey could clearly see the plastic clips are the size of a quarter. After requesting a full refund from the woman at the front desk she took the clips and disappeared into the smokey back room for 15 minutes. Upon her return, she asked another woman at the front desk to give me the $20.87 back in CASH which I had paid for the day before. They ARGUED about whether this would mess up the accounting books across the street and that she could not give me cash back for anything purchased over $20.00. REALLY?!! After being thoroughly disgusted with the LACK of QUALITY customer service, I went down the street to Kelly Body Shop who called Nationwide Nissan to see if they could get the plastic clips. They called and were told by Nationwide Nissan Parts Dept., that the clips for that part could NOT be PURCHASED and that I would have to buy a NEW Chrome MOLDING piece for $220.00. I said NO, I'm not doing that.
Kelly's Body Shop told me to go online and purchase the plastic clips from Clips and Fasteners .com and that they would fix the molding for FREE, NOW that's Customer Service!!
Clearly, I was LIED to and misled by Nationwide Nissan Parts Dept. into purchasing the clips that were NOT even available to be purchased and was forced to listen to a ridiculous argument between two employees to an absurd degree JUST to get my $20.87 cash back. UNBELIEVABLE!!
I will NEVER RETURN to that disorganization and chaos EVER AGAIN!!
Great experience - SportsNut76
My wife and I were looking at a few vehicles and a couple of them were Nissans, we went and drove both a Kicks and the Rogue Sport and informed our salesman that we were currently in just an information gathering phase and he didn't try to pressure us into anything and told us that he was not going to be a pushy salesman, he lived up to that word. A few days later we returned after making our decision and made our purchase of a brand new Rogue Sport. Our salesman Michael Holcomb made the deal painless. I would definitely recommend if you were looking for a new Nissan to give Nissan of Lexington Park a go, they will take care of you and if they don't have the Nissan you want, they will find it, that is what they did for us as we wanted a specific Rogue Sport with specific color and options, they didn't have it, they found it, they got it for us. This was my wife's 4th new car since we've been married and this was definitely one of the smoother transactions.
Had engine problems, they recommended me spending $3,400... - Mr.Upset😈🔥
Had engine problems, they recommended me spending $3,400 on a remanufactured motor with 75,000 miles on it. Seemed cool til I noticed they put old burnt out plugs and wires and other old parts on a great engine? Now I'm spending another $1000 on parts and labor less than 6 months later.. I asked Pohanka Nissan to change out old spark plugs while they had the engine out and they didn't. Yet charged me soo much. Why put bad spark plugs into a new engine and expect the engine to perform accordingly...???

I purchased a used 2007 Nissan Maxima from this... - twynn4lif
I purchased a used 2007 Nissan Maxima from this dealership. The sales guy was nice however, the business practices of this dealership is the worst. I traded in a Infiniti G35 when I bought the maxima. Thirty days later the G35 was still not paid off by the dealership eventhough I called them about 3 weeks later because the finance company on the G35 kept calling me about a payment. After several phone calls to RStempler for them to send the payoff to finance company, they finally sent the payment. Well, 10 days later I get a call about being behind 2 car payments on the G35 because the check that RStempler sent had bounced. How in the world does a nationwide dealership bounce a check. There irresponsibility has now caused my credit to be damaged because they didn't pay for the trade in. I would not recommend this dealer to anyone especially if you are trading in a car. It has been a month and a half and my trade in still isn't paid off.
Great staff and great cars - Mountaincrab
The staff are very friendly and easy to work with. I bought a car here and brought it back for the service every time because of this. They are honest and upfront. The reliability of the car exceeded my expectations, I had it for 180,000 + miles with hardly any maintenance except for oil changes. I would definitely recommend them anytime.
