You made it real easy to buy a car - Brian
I had intended to send my son off to his sophomore year in college with my much-loved, 125K-mile Audi A4 wagon. Unfotunately, I got stuck chasing multiple engine lights and never managed to get the car running right or even get a sticker as his departure day approached.
I needed a car fast, real fast. It was Thursday at 11AM when I started my search, and I needed the car in our hands on Friday.
Wellesley Volkswagen was up to the task. With my Edmunds review pointing me to the precise Golf GTI options package, a quick internet identified the exact Golf GTI, in stock in Wellesley, at a perfectly reasonable price ... no hasseling necessary.
During lunch, I drove over, laid eyes on the car, dropped a deposit. It took 10 minutes. And the car was ready on Friday by midday, with plates and insurance all squared away.
Easiest car purchase of my life. Thank you.
With my son heading off to college (in the middle of a pandemic) and my 125K Audi giving me trouble

Greg was great! - em.ide0415
My experience with Colonial VW was great! Greg was extremely knowledgable and helpful throughout my purchasing experience. His years of experience and expertise were evident. I had (possibly) the most clerical issues imaginable (insurance, registration, title, plates, etc.) and Greg advocated for me through it all so I was able to drive my new Alltrack off the lot the same day. Thank you Greg! If I could give you more stars I would!

Rachel was amazing. She got my car in as I had to rush for work and had work done in no time. My car had a radio malfunction and she went above and beyond to make sure I had the tools and proper guidance. She also went the extra mile to have a full inspection done to show that I needed rear springs and rear brakes. Thank you Rachel!

My husband and I bought a car here last week. We were impressed with the buying process (especially compared to where we bought our last car). It was quick and low-pressure, and our salesman Tim Bishop was knowledgeable and friendly. He was patient with our zillion questions and never made us feel rushed, even though we were buying about the least expensive thing we could. Jennifer Long did the signing, and she was also great. She explained the warranties but not in a way that, and she was very nice about doing a last-minute change to the financing. I would certainly recommend this dealership.

Outstanding Service at Desk - pam
I primarily worked with Jeff in the service department Monday. He listened to my concerns and respectfully said he would call me with any results the next day. As promised. he called as scheduled, with good news for replacing a part to fix the issues. The fact that he did what he said he would do and called to let me know promptly, was wonderful. I did not have to chase an answer to the issue. I brought the car in today, Friday, and the problem was solved within the time Jeff said it would be. Paul and he worked on the issue together. Thank you to both gentlemen who were friendly and an asset to Copeland service department which in my opinion is the essence of a car dealership.

Even though we did not buy a car, we thought F&S VW was... - spand91
Even though we did not buy a car, we thought F&S VW was great during the COVID-19 pandemic. It was the best car sales experience we've had so far and plan on coming back when the pandemic subsides.
We went back and had a different sales associate than we had in April. We really liked our new associate as well. We were about to finalize a deal when the sales manager joined the negotiations and cut our trade-in's value by 50% because the car had some mechanical issues. The value they were giving us was already at the lower end of the KBB value. We understood their reasoning, however, the sales manager's approach and tactic was off putting and condescending. We had the car scanned and it gave us camshaft codes. They wouldn't budge on the new car price or the trade-in so we walked from the offer. We did not go back because that experience was awful. A few days later, we ended up driving our trade to a different VW dealership 45 mins away and bought a new car there.
I do not recommend this place.
Bought a 2nd Jetta from George - Jim B
My wife bought a New Jetta the end of August from VW of North Attleboro.. After driving her car, I decided to treat myself to a new one also. I went back to VW of North Attleboro because of the experience we had with her purchase.
Again I had the same superior customer interaction with Chris, Norma and Sales rep, George. I know I could have shopped around but George was the driving factor to my return. It was a no nonsense purchase and he was able to locate the Jetta with the color and options I wanted. Everyone I dealt with was 5 Star at this dealership.
Just a source of income, not valued as a customer - dkern14
This car buying process with Gervais has been a nightmare and I would steer everyone away unless you are family or looking for a very specific vehicle. I would have given them zero stars if possible.
#1 I first contacted the dealership 2 days after a car arrived on the lot asking for photos and more details about the car. I continued to contact the dealership at least twice a week for updates. The pictures were never sent to me and I never received any updates. It took roughly a month to finally see photos of the car and it was only because I was consistent in checking their website.
#2 I drove 3 hours to look at the car and was only greeted with the usual dealership lies such as “the car is priced so low we cannot negotiate the price” and “we can run the numbers for you, but the deal is only good for today”. Both are just usual lines from the dealership to make a buyer anxious to put money down and commit to a car they can’t afford. After all of the trouble I went through, they were still not willing to move off of the price (not even a dollar). I wasn’t greeted by anyone besides the floor salesman (who was the only pleasant part of my experience) and only met the sales manager once I had the check in my hand.
#3 I was looking for a very specific model car and ended up purchasing the car anyway. I came from out of state, so I needed to get the paperwork situated and was trying to work with the dealership, so I could register the car out of state before picking it up. I wanted to drive the car back legally instead of towing it back. They would not work with me or send me any documentation, so I could accomplish what I was aiming to do. I asked for the manufacturer’s statement of origin, so they could still keep the title in their name and I could still get the car registered to drive legally. They stated, “the manufacturer’s statement of origin was the same as the vehicle title”, which is a complete lie.
#4 I stated I could come back Friday around closing time, but I was told none of the notaries could stay late so I had to wait another day to complete the sale. I stated I would come back Saturday morning and asked that all of the paperwork be ready, the car cleaned, and with a full tank of gas so I could get back on the road as soon as possible. When I arrived, the car was being “recleaned”. It wasn't cleaned very well because there was still sticker residue all over the windshield from previous stickers / documents. The documents were mostly completed, but the notaries weren’t present to notarize my signature. They notarized someone else’s signature at the dealership, which could have easily been completed the day prior. They said they couldn’t even fill it up with gas because it was already filled up when they took the car in off of a trade. These were all further lies from the manager. I didn’t meet the sales manager until I had a check in my hand, even though I put money down and committed to purchasing the car the first time I was at the dealership. Just another sign that this dealership doesn’t care about customers or to work with customers, you are just a source of income to them and that is it.
#5 I asked for an inspection of the car prior to purchase and for the inspection documents during the final purchase meeting, but I did not receive the paperwork. Soon after buying the car, I noticed that the passenger side fog light the tab is broken making the fog light loose. They did not disclose this information or fix it prior to purchase. While the car was in transit, the antenna cover came flying off on the highway (not even a hour after buying it). I contacted the dealership and since these parts are “not detrimental to safety” and “not a component of the drive train”, they are not covered. Now I have to put another $400 into a barely used car I just purchased.
I am just trying to help the next person avoid this headache. I would never recommend this dealership unless you are very particular about the car you are buying and cannot find it anywhere else.
Underwhelming Experience - jeremycangiano
Classic tale of over promise and underdelivered results and how not to make a customer feel when they buy a $20,000 vehicle. I will be nothing but fair and honest in this review. I will highlight the good and the bad. but that is just it, you should never be in a situation when buying a car that one has to outweigh the other.
I purchase a "Certified" 2017 Jetta from the dealer. The dealer was fair on price and additional options such as Gap insurance plus tire and rim protection. all in with tax, title, fees, and extras; the car came to $20,000. They gave me a great deal on the car because it was the end of the year and the car had sat on their lot for 40 days.
I picked up the car on Monday December 23rd. As I side note, I was offered to take the car and inspected it myself because the dealer was backed up on inspected before the holiday and that if I send a copy of the inspection report, I would get reimbursed the $35 for the inspection. I still haven't heard back from the dealer after I sent them a copy of the report the day I got the car. On the following Saturday, the 28th, five days after taking delivery. I noticed a large hole and crack in the plastic deflector just below the driver-side windshield wiper. The size of the hole is about two golfballs and easily you could fit your hand inside it. I took a picture of the damage and emailed it to Greg, who was the product specialist who assisted me in the purchase of the car. Greg was great. he was attentive throughout the whole process and answered my concerns promptly. this review is not about anything he did.
On the following Monday Greg asked me to come down to the dealer to have the used car manager, Mike Flaco take a look at it. While I was there, I also voiced my concerns to Josh Dupre, the sales manager who helped me with the final paperwork. To which Josh responded to my concerns about the damage with "I can sell a used car with as many holes as I want". Not exactly something I want to hear from the sale manager who just sold me my first Volkswagen. Are all "Certified Pre-Owned" Volkswagens allowed to have holes in the plastic? Is that a part of the comprehensive 100+ Point Dealer Inspection?
Mike inspected the car and said it wasn't covered under warranty and played car dealerships favorite game by placing the shadows of doubt in the air. That they didn't know when the damaged happened and it's not covered under warranty. Neither can I prove when it happened, but what is more likely, the 5 days I had the vehicle or the 40 days it sat on the lot?
Mike did offer to cover the cost of labor if I ordered the part, which at the time seemed like a fair deal. I went and spoke with Anderson in service who told me the parts would be $130 each and that I'll need to order the left and right deflectors. $260 more for a certified car I just took a $20,000 loan on! At this point I walked away.
I ended up going down the road to the VW dealership where my mom purchased a Tiguan because we had such a great experience there. I ordered the part from them and it was cheaper ($120). They didn't try to upcharge me into buying two of them and when I spoke to the service advisor about installing it, he said it's possibly not even worth charging you labor to put this in because it's so easy!
Moral of the story is to take care of your customers at all points of the transaction. make them feel valued and empowered by their purchase. a car is the second biggest purchase someone will make in their life behind buying a home. The "CERTIFIED" car should have never been sold with that damage and comments like ""I can sell a used car with as many holes as I want" should never be said to a customer. Volkswagen’s slogan for their Certified Pre-Owned program is “Go With Confidence”. This whole experience does not fill me with a sense of confidence.

I am from out of town, and during my travels my Audi started leaking coolant. I called the service dept and asked if they could get me right in cause it was necessary I returned back home the following night. They told me to drop it off and they would get to it first thing in the morning. By lunch time they called me and said they were replacing my water pump and it would be done by 3:30. I picked up my car at 5 and was on my way back to eastern mass. I couldn't be happier with the service I received and the speed in which they were able to fit me in. Thank you to everyone who helped me out.
Easy Purchase - Bob Budding
I walked into Atamian VW with a True Car price quite that Cee, our salesperson, immediately said that he would honor. We test drove a Passat TDI and decided that yes, we liked the car, so we closed the deal. The sales manager tried to sell me an extended warranty, but I simply stated that I could handle the cost of any future repairs. Easy enough.
I've since had the car service a few times at Atamian. No problems.

I have been going to Kelly VW since they purchased North Shore VW (where I went for years)and many of the same people work at the Kelly dealership. They are ALWAYS pleasant and helpful and personable. They provide GREAT service for anything from a small tiny adjustment to a major repair. It is not a "typical" car dealership mentality when buying or leasing. There is no pressure to buy or push their agenda....the customer comes first. I would highly recommend them!
