Coming from the Vineyard it's always a process when looking for a new car. Eric Tonkonogy did an amazing job with something that can usually be so stressful. He was able to help with everything via email and phone prior to coming in which made the process and transition so much easier (not having to come off the island multiple times). He also was able to help under a rather quick turn around, making his speediness an added plus. Overall 10/10 and look forward to deals in the near future!

As I am writing this, on Sunday, October 18th, 2020, my vehicle is still at the Commonwealth VW shop for the past 2 months. I dropped off my 2015 Volkswagen passat on Monday, the 17th of August 2020 because my EPC light and my check engine light was on. I have to let who ever is reading this know that I do not usually write bad reviews for businesses unless I am extremely dissatisfied with the quality of service that I have received. So far, I am more than unhappy, I am extremely anxious and I hope the owner reads this and contact me because I have never heard of service taking more than 2 months to properly diagnose and fix a vehicle. I have to mention that Dave has done the best he could with the updates, and to his credit, he is trying the best he can with the info he receives from the technicians. However, I have stopped by there numerous times and it seems that my vehicle is not getting the attention that it deserves. I have remained without a rental since August. Their rental policies seems different from other dealerships because I have to rent it from Enterprise which at the moment is not possible for me. Or I was told that I may need to rent from another rental company, pay the fees in advance and I will be reimbursed later. Can you imagine renting a vehicle and not knowing for how long or how much the fees would run up? I did the math, my rental fees would have been close to TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS for the 9 weeks. WOW!! I need a RENTAL ASAP!!! THIS CANNOT CONTINUE!!! I am very patient. I want my vehicle to be fixed in a timely manner. I just want to receive weekly updates from Dave, possibly every Thursday.

I recently financed a 2016 Volkswagen Tiguan from this dealership 7/25/2020 and from the beginning they never listened to me I initially went there to look at a 2017 Passat R-Line there was a lot of damage to this car so i told the salesman Neil I wasn't interested in the car unless they would bring the price down and I also stated i didnt want my credit score ran until i knew that thew price was brought down and he and the financial lady Laura didnt listen and still ran my credit score i had also told them i knew the bank i wanted to finance with and that would be Ally an di only wanted my credit ran by Ally and they didnt listen for both the 2017 Passat and the 2016 Tiguan the financial lady ran m y credit with 4 different banks twice and I know because credit karma informs me right away. That was the first thing that happen. The second problem is the sticker on the Tiguan said it was 13,000 but online it said 12,000 i screenshot the price when i got home that day to make sure I was getting it for the 12,000 and i did but the very next day i looked at the price online and it had went up to 13,000. The day my tiguan was ready to be picked up they told me that I could pick up at 10:30am i got there and didnt end up leaving until 2:30 pm. Neil the salesman, Freddy the sales manager, and Laura said that my registration wasn't part of the deal and it would be best if i renewed my old registration so i did so and it cost me 60 dollars to renew my registration for my old plates not to be used and they said because of the inconvenience they just gave me new plates for free thats what Laura said. My third issue was I received a call from my insurance agent as i am waiting for my car to leave and she told me that she received paperwork with another persons information but with my signatures so i went inside the dealership and informed them for the situation and they resent my paperwork but I do not understand how if i did not resign any paperwork regarding my insurance on the tiguan. My forth issue is that the day i went and got the vehicle off the lot my salesman barely talked to me and did not deliver the car to me so when i had left i received a call from the salesman and he wanted me to sign paperwork stating he had gone over the car with me and i refused to because he did not. I took time to look at this form the salesman wanted me to sign and i seen it said my mass inspection wasnt part of the deal. At this point I'm annoyed and i took a second look at the contract and it shows that i paid for my registration and state inspection. i called right away and spoke to the sales manager Freddy and he assured me i would get my money back for the registration. On top of all this when i left the dealership that day i was on the highway and the gas light turned on so i put in 37.04 in gas Neil paid me 25 of that thru cash app because he wanted me to sign that paper to get paid for the sale. Overall i never got my money back so i paid $120 for a registration and i pay interest on 60 out of the 120. Lastly my biggest concern is that my Lien holder has a different contract then i do and informed me i needed an updated one and the dealership refuses to revise my contract.

Fantastic experience! After shopping for a car and dealing with shady dealers, Mastria VW was a very warm welcome. I have zero complaints whatsoever about my experience with Mastria, they were professional, upfront, and very transparent. My vehicle was clean, and matched its description on their website. The salesperson I worked with, Ed, was incredibly helpful and courteous. I will absolutely return when I purchase another car in the future.

Even though we did not buy a car, we thought F&S VW was great during the COVID-19 pandemic. It was the best car sales experience we've had so far and plan on coming back when the pandemic subsides.
We went back and had a different sales associate than we had in April. We really liked our new associate as well. We were about to finalize a deal when the sales manager joined the negotiations and cut our trade-in's value by 50% because the car had some mechanical issues. The value they were giving us was already at the lower end of the KBB value. We understood their reasoning, however, the sales manager's approach and tactic was off putting and condescending. We had the car scanned and it gave us camshaft codes. They wouldn't budge on the new car price or the trade-in so we walked from the offer. We did not go back because that experience was awful. A few days later, we ended up driving our trade to a different VW dealership 45 mins away and bought a new car there.

Techicians are clueless. They have no clue of what they are doing. They missed the most obvious things like Check engine light and worked on tire allignment and left it in a worse sitution than before. We had a long trip planned and we could not get the car in time and had to make alternative arrangements. They were very rude and were not at all apologetic about the mistakes and the mess. I live 3o mins away and had to make multiple trips to get it sorted. For your own safety, do not go here. People are rude, servicing is horrible, they ripped me off. Overall one of the worst servicing centers.

They must has spilled oil on it and tried to clean it with a degreasing agent. Upsets me every time a look at it. The service rep told me that they cover the steering wheel and seat prior to service. Yet, as I watched this person with dirty and greasy clothes climb into my vehicle, that was not the case. I walked into Atamian VW with a True Car price quite that Cee, our salesperson, immediately said that he would honor. We test drove a Passat TDI and decided that yes, we liked the car, so we closed the deal. The sales manager tried to sell me an extended warranty, but I simply stated that I could handle the cost of any future repairs. Easy enough.

I have been going to Kelly VW since they purchased North Shore VW (where I went for years)and many of the same people work at the Kelly dealership. They are ALWAYS pleasant and helpful and personable. They provide GREAT service for anything from a small tiny adjustment to a major repair. It is not a "typical" car dealership mentality when buying or leasing. There is no pressure to buy or push their agenda....the customer comes first. I would highly recommend them!
