Samantha impressed us initially by leaving a detailed message about our lease end. We made an appointment planning to only garner information about lease or buy and look at a smaller car that was hybrid… not intending to actually finalize anything. She was very thorough and explained and ré explained some info until we understood. Russell then was involved in the finance deal. We decided to finalize the deal today due to Samantha’s vibrant and convincing attitude.

Let me start off by saying I never write reviews good or bad. But this time I had to vent. Avoid this service center "STEALERSHIP" at all costs. First off when I bought my Hyundai I was told that I had free oil changes for life. Great. So I try to get a service appointment and they were booked three months out. xxx so I make the appointment. Went in for a 50,000 service. Was quoted about $750. After car was inspected the usual things like $120 extra for cabin and air filters and shop supplies Ok fine. "you need front brakes ok how much. Hold on while I get the price. That will be $989 total. Ok do it.I figured not too bad another $275-300 for the front brake job not too bad. I just had back surgery and usually do this myself. 5 hours later car is ready. Total bill is $1711.41 and that’s with a 33% coupon off on scheduled maintenance services. Turns out that $989 price was just for the front brakes and rotors. I told them you gotta be xxxxtin me! Asked for a manager and some 20 something kid in a suit says I'm the manager. He tells me to hold on a minute you don't understand. I said oh no I understand as I pointed to the artist rendering of the new building that's currently under construction. He says Brake shoes a very expensive like $200 plus dollars and are guaranteed for life. I asked how about rotors. Oh no just the pads. So I laughed in his face and told him I have been working on cars since I was 14 and $989 for a front brake job is ridiculous. I turned around to all of the service advisors who at this point we’re all looking at us and told them this place is a rip off and they would never see me again. I strongly suggest that you take your car to a local repair shop. At least if he rips you off you can argue with the owner directly. This place is the definition of "Stealership". I hope upper management reads this. DEALER RESPONSE I spoke with Devan Prediger service manager today. We had a lengthy conversation. I explained that I believe that I was misinformed or misinterpreted the amount of the total cost of the work. I assumed the total for all the work was approximately $989. As it turned out that was the cost of the bakes alone. I was extremely upset when I was presented with a total of $1,711. I would have never approved the $989 for a single axle brake replacement which according to my research before I went in for service was approximately $350 per axle. This prompted by negative review . Devan apologized for the 4 month wait to get this service appointment and miscommunication and explained the reasons for the delay. I believe we have resolved the issue and I look forward to once again doing business with Wayne Mazda. On the positive side I told him I was impressed with the video from the service mechanic. Therefore I am changing my former rating of this service department and the dealer responded quickly and we came to terms.

Hyundai service department they always have an excuse why they can’t finish the job quickly. They’re always saying that they’re understaff. But yet the conversation that I had with Sierra, all their master technicians are off on Saturdays. if you’re understaffed, wouldn’t you schedule your master mechanics to work on a Saturday? Very poor management. This is why people serviced their own cars. I scheduled a 7 AM appointment. It’s about to be 12 PM. I am still waiting for my oil change. Ridiculous I will make it known ELANTRA N car club not get their car serviced here.

Yesterday I brought my car in without an appointment bcs of a horrible noise coming from underneath the car. Miguel in service dept. was extremely courteous and promised he would have the car done as soon as possible. They fixed the car in a timely manner & found some other small things that needed fixing & the car was ready by 5P. EXCELLENT SERVICE

Brought my 2015 Santa Fe in cause the check engine light was on...i had no appointment, turns out the code for the light being on was a very bad code, pretty much meaning I needed a new engine. Jim Kenny told me that he would have someone take a look and try to flushing out the engine and see if this would help the problem. a few hours later car was ready. Unfortunately, I broke down 15 mins later, turns out I needed an engine replacement. I had my vehicle towed in and Jim Kenny,Steve Patzkowski and Domenic Pulgarin helped me out. They did let me know that I would not have my car for a while, but I had been warned before. They kept me updated about the car and let me know that the engine replacement would be covered under the warranty. I am do glad I went to see them before I went to another mechanic. I am very happy with the service at Liberty Hyundai.

An absolutely awful experience. After being quoted what the repairs would cost and the amount of time it would take to complete them, they went 3 weeks and $1,000 over what was quoted. After I picked the car up it still wasn't fixed. They tried to force the wrong wiring in the repaired rear door causing the window not to work and the car unable to lock. The wheels were left not properly aligned causing the car to shake at speeds over 50mph. I ended up spending over another $1,000 at a place that actually knows what they are doing. While the car was there over 10 calls were left unreturned. You're better off taking your car literally any where else.

My car was diagnosed as needing a tire sensor and when I was finally able to get it installed and there were finally no more lights on my dashboard, I was running an errand and it was raining and chilly and three low tire lights came on. I drove straight to the dealership which fortunately I was just passing and they were awesome! they immediately checked and filled the tires so that I could continue on my way. Thanks guys!! People ask me why I continue to use the dealer for service- well this is why!!

Great people, horrible experience though. After negotiating and having a great time talking with the staff, everything went downhill.. the numbers we were promised were no where close to what our contract said. The poor finance guy was the last to meet us at 8pm after everyone else was done for the day but they had taken forever to complete our paperwork (we had sent in all our paperwork since 8am, prior to getting there). We finally get the agreement and the poor guy can’t explain anything because the sales ppl gave us all the wrong information and he was stuck giving us the bad news that the numbers promised were all BS because no one calculated anything correctly. At this point we had waited forever, and decided to take the car and take the higher monthly bill, as we were so done with our horrible experience. But it gets better.. After 4 and a half months, I am finally getting my registration and plates. How does no one have the answer as to why it hadn’t been processed? How come I had to call millions of times and keep getting the run around.

I got to my appointment early and they made me feel very comfortable..especially Vincent!! He always has a great demeanor and so very friendly!! I will definitely keep coming because of how I feel while waiting!!
