Persistence without the high-pressure sales tactics. That would perfectly describe my salesman Scotty and how he was able to help me negotiate one of the best deals I have ever gotten on a vehicle. And I've bought (too 😆) many vehicles over the years.
I thought there was ZERO chance of getting what I needed for my trade-in towards the new Ford Maverick I was wanting in order to make a deal possible. And initially, I was right. Scotty's sales manager stepped up and made me a very fair offer for my car, but the numbers still weren't working for my budget.
I was about to leave when the sales manager asked me to give him a little more time to see what he could do for me. He came back out and absolutey BLEW MY MIND 🤯 with a bigger offer for my trade which made getting the Maverick possible! Even Scotty looked shocked! 😅
Now I have no idea how he was able to do so, and I'm not promising he can do it for you as well. But if you are buried in negative equity on your car but wanting or needing something else, then go give Scotty and his manager(s) a chance to work something out for you.
