Salesman Roger Knott was great. I paid in cash and the time it took to do paperwork was ridiculous. Roger's paperwork went quickly but then spent an hour waiting for finance guy to do his part.
I did not like being asked to answer questions about my use of car only for the information to be used to try and sell me other service plans. After that, It was still a while before paperwork was done.
I agreed to buy the car and write a check at 5:30 pm. I did not get to leave the dealership until after 7 pm.

Introduced to Homer Skelton Jeep when I needed recalled air bag replaced. A different dealership told me it would take all day (at least 6 hours) and never could nail down time it should be ready. Took it to Homer Skelton, dropped it off, and was given a loaner vehicle. By the time I made it to work had a text from Nate, giving me an easy way to communicate if I had any questions or needed anything else. 2 hours and 15 minutes after dropping Jeep off got another text saying it was ready. I also received a phone call to make sure I knew. Can’t ask for better customer service - and unbelievably everyone was pleasant to talk to.
Last week had to replace the Jeeps battery. Talked to service on phone about issue, and brought battery in. Guy at parts desk took care of things, and I had battery in hand, paid, and was out the door in 7 minutes.
Next time I have an issue with my Jeep, will be heading back to Homer Skelton (instead of the closer Jeep dealership). Finding good customer service is hard, and Homer Skelton does a great job.

I was interested in the 2020 Hyundai Palisade Limited with the Moonlight cloud paint and black Nappa leather interior. The entire staff was friendly from the moment that I walked in the door. They knew I was there for the limited as I had placed a downpayment holding it. Zuella, Calvin, Mike, and Everett were all terrific to work with and made every effort to make sure that I was 100% satisfied!
Zuella was new and this was her first car sale, so we got to do her "tie cutting" ceremony to mark the occasion which only enhanced the experience for me and my son,
The Palisade is an incredible vehicle and they took time to make sure I knew all of the basics about the vehicle before driving off. Then the vehicle exceeding expectations in comfort, technology, style, and then gas mileage. It states 19/26 on the sticker, but I got 27.7 for the entire 125 mile trip back home and once I figured out how to reset the trip info, it got a whopping 32 miles to the galley at 74 mph cruise setting in eco mode. Amazing.
I would highly recommend the staff at Allen Samuels to anyone looking for a Hyundai in the Jackson, TN area. I am totally satisfied with my experience there.

We were interested in purchasing a used Jeep. We found a very nice one on the used car lot. Walter Whitehead was our sales rep and he did a very good job of working with us on this car (our first Jeep) and spent time explaining how the soft top worked and various other aspects unique to Jeep. Their detail shop did a nice job of cleaning and servicing whatever was needed (oil, filters, etc). We also negotiated a very fair price for the car. We would definitely deal with these folks again!!

Overall, this buying experience went smoothly. I agreed to most numbers by phone and went in to clarify a few small details. I met the owner and we went back and forth about price face to face, which I value. The feeling of watching a salesman go to their manager behind a closed door, or the famous clear glass is not customer friendly, so I was glad to see this dealership doesn't deal like that.
The finance manager, Doug, explained everything well and the signing process was quick. I wasn't pressured to buy warranties I didn't need, which is something very common with most dealers.
Unfortunately, I had mentioned to the salesman the new truck had a shake in the steering wheel. He assured me it would drive out in a few miles, but if it didn't they would take care of it. The shake didn't drive out, the back up camera and screen didn't work properly, and there were scratches in the steering wheel keys and dashboard.
The service department kept my new truck from Monday to late Thursday replacing the entire navigation/backup screen, replaced the radio, replaced plastic pieces on the dash to fix the scratches, replaced a front tire to fix the shaking, and I have to take it back for someone to fix two other scratches on the dashboard. Overall this isn't the experience you'd expect with a brand new vehicle. Who do you blame though, the dealer or the manufacturer?
Overall I'd buy from this dealer again, but would probably inspect the truck a lot more before signing the paperwork. The non-pushy atmosphere is one I prefer, plus the salesman was a trooper and kept me updated throughout the service issues. They seemed like honest people, which are words that don't normally go hand-in-hand with a car dealer.

Friendly Service but Price Gouging at its best! - JSB
I had recently purchased a Ram 1500 from another dealer and needed to have some recalls done. Out of some reviews and a friends recommendation I decided to schedule an appointment with this dealer. I also asked them to do a multi point inspection since it was near 30K mile and new to me. I also had 4 recalls that needed to be done.
Up front I have to say that this is the most Dog Friendly dealer that I have ever been too! multiple employees came by to see my pup and it of course made my day!
Here's the issue I have.
Chris, came in and suggested that I change the fluid (Gear Oil) in the front and rear differentials and do a Fuel Injection and Throttle Body Cleaning.
I asked how much? He stated it was $800 and some change!
I told them I would to the fluid changes myself. And gave into the Injector cleaning. Now I wish I didn't! This same Valvoline procedure is done at other shops (same exact procedure) for just over $100. I was charged $345!!!!! To boot I look under the hood and you cant even tell that the engine cover has been touched! You have to remove it to get to the fuel rail to do this procedure!
Now let's go back to the Fluid changes on the differentials. If it was 800 total for everything and the Injector/Throttle body was $345, that leaves us with $455 to do the fluid change. Now a 1500 Ram rear Diff holds 2.5 Qts. of synthetic gear oil. At the local auto store, a quart of Valvoline (which is what they use) is about $15. So to do both front and rear, you are looking at a total of $75 for five quarts. Now that would leave $380 for labor? This process is simple. Raise the vehicle, Remove drain and fill plug, Drain old oil, Clean and put back drain plug. Fill case with fluid till it runs out of the fill hole. Replace fill plug. Done! You want $380 for that!!!!?
They didn't know that I have been around cars most of my life and my brother is even an ASE certified Mechanic for over 30 years, which I learned a lot from him thought the years! I do most of my own work because. One, I love to do it and Two, To keep from getting ripped off like I did here! I feel they owe me some money back on the Treatment that I was way overcharged for and I still dont even think it was done anyway from the evidence. I also learned later that this doesn't even need to be done until the vehicle has over 50K miles and or runs rough/Low MPG etc.
THe GM reached out to me over this issue and had the Service Manager reach out to over this issue. I got the same song and dance about how qualified their techs are etc. etc. Problem is that I understand Qualified techs should be paid well for actual mechanic work. But to charge over a 400% markup on something that does not require a ASE Certified Master mechanic is uncalled for and is price gouging in my honest opinion!
We tried to settle this issue by just at least meeting me half way on refunding the over charge. and the GM stated that he would only do a 20% refund because of his exceptional service. EXCEPTIONAL MY FOOT!
Go somewhere else for more reasonable exceptional service.

This has by far been the best car buying experience I have had. C. J. Cooper is an amazing sales person. I highly recommend going to see her if you are looking for a simple, no hassle experience. the entire experience was great from the time we arrived, until the time we left. We had been to multiple dealerships look for the right car and experience and we found it at Collierville Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. They even made the financing and paperwork portion enjoyable.

I delivered my 2005 Dodge 3500 Ram truck at the dealership for diagnosing on July 29, 2019. I was told that the cost would be $955.70 and that these repairs would fix my problem. The cost seemed high, but this was a dealership and they are usually higher than average for any area. I agreed to the suggested repairs and confirmed that this would indeed fix my problem. I picked up my truck on August 1, 2019. Within the hour after pickup the problem returned. I called the dealership and was told to bring my truck back in on August 12, 2019 at 10:30 am. I received multiple reminders of this appointment and arrived early on August 1, 2019. After a few minutes the service adviser, Matt Luetjen, told me I would have to come back in a couple days as their tech was busy repairing other vehicles. I made a complete adjustment to my work day on August 12th to accommodate the dealership requirements only to be told to come back later. At this point I asked to see a manager. After waiting 30 minutes or so I was told the service manager, Treb Faulkner, was available. I told him my situation and he offered to try and get my truck in for service today, but I informed him that I had lost confidence in their abilities and would like a refund on the past work that did not solve my problem. I was never given old parts back, as is the custom at many other repair shops, and I agreed to pay their cost for the parts they installed on my vehicle, but expected a refund on the labor charge. The service manager told me he would not be refunding any monies. Later in the day I received an email from this same service manager offering a 10% reduction on whatever might be required to repair my issue. If the service adviser Matt had told me they think the indicated repairs would fix my problem, I would not be so offended. Matt said the repairs offered at $955.70 would fix my problem. My invoice number is 965404. Don't waste your time with these folks.
