I was going to buy a Ford Escape and was told that the car would be ready for pick up at 3PM on Monday 7/27/20. I went to the dealership with check in hand for the car and they wouldn't let me take the car because they said there was a recall and Ford didn't have the fix out for it yet. The next day they said they were still waiting on the fix then Wednesday I went there and they said no fix. I decided to talk to another dealership and was informed that there was in fact a recall on the 2020 Escape but that Ford had the fix out on Monday the 27th. So I ended up buying from the other deal not sure why Scaffidi did want to sell the car my guess is maybe they quoted me a too low of price.
I was on vacation and planing on taking the new Escape to visit my brother in Missouri but after wasting most of the week with Scaffidi I don't have enough time to make the trip.

don't stand behind their sales. purchased 2017 Lincoln cont. from them in May, 2020. Found the passenger side area has leak when it rains. Had a recall from Lincoln on door latches, so was waiting until parts available for that to check on leak. Informed by Lincoln dealer, problem was a plastic strip coming loose under windshield, however, windshield was "aftermarket" not covered by warranty.
called Witt Ford to see what they could do, and explained issue. Blunt answer: Our warrant for used vehicle we sell is 30 days, so nothing we can do. BUYER BEWARE of this dealership. FORD should look into their after sales practices and perhaps rethink their dealership assignment.

I bought a 2020 F150 from Eau Claire ford back in May. After taking delivery, I discovered my salesman "dragon" had outright lied to me about 2 things. First lie was that my truck had the 36 gallon gas tank. After a couple weeks of ownership and not driving it very much, I discovered it was only 23 gallons.
2nd lie was that ford didn't make a crew cab with a 6.5 ft box(long box). A coworker showed up at work one day with a crew cab long box. He then showed me Ford's spec sheet on their website that lists the crew cab long box. I called "dragon" and he said I could buy some kind of a bed extender. No thanks dragon. I'll be buying my vehicles somewhere else in the future.

I had called and spoke with Amy. She was super great!! My car needed so much in repairs and I had told her I was thinking about not getting it repaired because the car was nickel and diming me. She told me I should still come in because you might be able to buy this car from me and use it towards getting into a new vehicle. She was right, I went in and ended up leaving in a brand new car (which I love) She even called me a couple days after the fact just to make sure I was taken care. I have never had that kind of customer service before. I have sent a couple people your way and 2 of them have also purchased vehicles. I was dreading cominh in and now I am so glad. Thank you Amy

I had engine trouble while in Door County and a local garage recommended that I call Witt to repair it as it was a certified Ford dealer and service center. The work was done quickly and they even repaired a hose that had a crack, other than the original problem. The repairs cost more than originally told they would be but I had to get back down to my home.I questioned them about the repairs as I had been told by the local garage that it would require more than what the service center said it needed and was assured that they saw this problem many times in my type of Ford and it would be fine. There was a 12 mo/12,000 mile warranty that they now refuse to honor and it has only been 10 weeks and 4200 miles!
I have been told by my certified mechanic near my home that now my vehicle will need a head replaced or a used engine put into my truck because the repair done by Witt Service Center was wrong and the threads are stripped and the spark plug hole is now oval. I am without a vehicle, I cannot afford another costly repair and Witt Service Center is saying oh well. Tough Luck!
I feel I was over charged for the repair, the repair was done poorly and incorrectly and I was lied to.
In 40+ years of owning vehicles and having them repaired, this is the very worst service I have ever encountered and I will not ever take my vehicle to this dealership again!
