Sales representative Gerry was excellent and very professional. No high pressure. Purchased a Ford F-150 XLT. The truck was in excellent condition and very clean. A big plus is they do an inspection and take care of issues before the truck is put out on sale. Highly recommended if you are looking for a truck.

My wife and I enjoyed the experience we had visiting this dealership. We first called to inquire about a pickup truck seen online. They responded to all of our questions while also giving us additional information about the truck along with sending additional pictures to help in the description. Once we arrived to look and drive the vehicle it turned out to exceed our expections. We will definitely call them for our next vehicle purchase.

Originally, we were actually looking at XLT version Ford - GRANDMASTERSTJOHN

Originally, we were actually looking at XLT version Ford F150's. We had many dealers in our area but wasn't able to make a deal. They didn't seem to care about the sale. We expand our search and Galesburg Ford was on the list. We saw a Ford F150 Lariat blacked out on the site. As stated earlier we was looking for XLTs. We call Galesburg sales department, and Scott Carlson answered the call. First impressions are the most important for us. Scott, spoke with an energetic and enlighten tone. I stated where we were callings from and wanted to more about the Ford F150 Lariat. He didn't jump right into a sales pitch but asked how the weather was in our area. He also was kind enough to ask if we were affected by the recent tornado that came through our area. His inquiry wasn't a ploy to a sales invite but a real concern. Then he asks calmly what questions we had. After all our questions were answered, we felt we had to have a road trip and meet Scott and see the truck in person. When we arrived, Scott approaches us well-dressed and was smiling. He asked about our trip there. The Ford F150 Lariat was sitting there in front of us. It was more of a vision in person than online. I said let's talk. We all sat down and Scott explained what he could do for us on the Lariat. His knowledge and diplomacy actually made the sale. Scott is totally transparent. No angles or extended sales pitch. We put a deposit down to hold the Lariat till the end of the week. We were honest with Scott, explaining we were going to stop and look at another truck on the way back home as promised. Scott didn't try pressuring us on the purchase. We had pretty much made up our minds while driving to the other Ford F150 Lariat. We contacted Scott and told him we wanted the Lariat. From there out Scott made the purchase smooth and professional. We originally were going to drive back to pick up the Lariat. It was a long trip the first time, so we asked to have it delivered. Scott made the arrangements. When the Lariat was delivered to our residence, I met Bruce and Larry. They were very professional and a privilege to meet. We highly recommend Scott Carlson as your go to sales agent. We highly recommend Galesburg Ford. Don't let distance detour you away from a vehicle you want Ours paid off and couldn't be more pleased. Thanks Scott and Galesburg Ford staff.

I recently took my car for a detailing service and - team30a

I recently took my car for a detailing service and initially was not pleased with the outcome. I voiced my concern and the issues were addressed promptly, graciously, and thoroughly. So many dealerships tout their prowess with customer service but when it comes time to deliver they disappear. Not with Kunes. Their customer service was exemplary and I was treated with respect and they made everything right just as they said they would. This dealership, in my opinion, is outstanding. Thank you to the service department for your commitment to your customers.

Just picked up our new Bronco! - J. Weeks

Just picked up our new Bronco! Wonderful customer service from start to finish. Dan, our sales guy, made working from out of state a breeze (including working on our trade in value.) Cedrick was thorough & worked hard to complete our transaction electronically ahead of time, so our in person closing ran smoothly. The front desk staff was so welcoming! Sean even took time to talk to us about our experience dropping our kid off at college… really genuine folks at Kunes Sterling. We would highly recommend working with them, and hope to again in the future. Class acts.

I purchased a 2014 Chevy equinox from Kunes in Morrison, - Brenda Hook

I purchased a 2014 Chevy equinox from Kunes in Morrison, Illinois, I had nothing but problems with it the day I drove it off the lot. After 4 months of calling and asking for help or get me in another car they finally helped me get into another car. I spoke with the GM and he was able to help me get a different car, after getting my new car I received a letter from my loan company that they sent me a check to the dealership for balance owed to me on my Chevy equinox that I had returned. The dealership was to call me when they received my check. They called me and said that my check was there and they needed me to come in and sign it over to them because that check needed to go towards the down payment on my new car, so before going over to the dealership I called my loan company and asked them if that was what the check was for, they said no! I already had a down payment with my trade in, so the check was mine to do whatever I wanted with it. So my fiancé and I went to kunes in Morrison Illinois and sat down with the sales guy and he told me I had to sign over the check to him, he passed me the check face down across the desk, I picked up the check and looked at it and handed it to my fiancé. My fiancé told him that I was not saying it over to them that it was mine and was made out to me. We got up and walked out of the office and the sales guy chased out into the lobby yelling you need to give that check back it’s not yours and than saying he was going to call the cops. My fiancé told him to go ahead and call, the cops would see the check was made out in my name for me. So we left and didn’t get the cops called on us and never heard from kunes in Morrison Illinois again. So basically they were trying to take my $900 check for themselves, never again will I deal with kunes in Morrison Illinois Bill Bart - general manager Greg Roberts - sales Josh Morales - sales Be very careful if you go to this place, they rip you off and lie to you, they only want the sale for their Commission, after you drive off the lot they don’t care what happens. Josh Morales is the sales guy who threatened to call the cops on us and try to take my $900 check.

I recently bought a car from for SML. - Thisguy159

I recently bought a car from for SML. Michael was a big help throughout the whole thing. He was patient and took the time to walk me through everything, took extra time providing me all the details over the phone and email. This was especially helpful since I had to fly in to pick up the car. His candor made me comfortable enough to make the decision to buy the car out of state. When I flew in, the dealer picked me up from the airport, which was nice. The whole process, from getting there to leaving, only took about an hour. That's way quicker than what I've dealt with before, which was usually 4-5 hours. Lynette, who handled the finances, was great too. She got through all the paperwork fast and was friendly to talk to. Overall, my experience with SML was excellent. I just wish they were closer to me so I could go there for my Audi needs.

I was working with a girl by the name of Amanda which was - Patangiepurtell

I was working with a girl by the name of Amanda which was very pleasant to work with, but final decision came from Claudia. I was offered to put $1500 down and $130 a week payments they wanted to place me in a RUSTED Ford Escape. Claudia stated that with a larger downpayment she can do better. I told her for that I would have my daughter co-sign. Her response was “WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT, YOU WOULD JUST RUIN HER CREDIT” 😡, WHAT??? How professional is that statement? Never is my 46 years have i been so offended. Why would she assume i would ruin my daughters credit, because my was so negatively impacted by a huge situation Claudia is not aware of. She made me feel humiliated and embarrassed.

Let me start be saying I will be recommending them from - christopherdanner38

Let me start be saying I will be recommending them from now on. This is a dealership with integrity and honesty. We were scammed to see a car at another dealership that did'nt have the car they said they had. We left and found City Select on our way home. They had the car we were looking for. After going inside to see the car we were warmly welcomed by the young gentleman Adam. He was very knowledgeable and courteous to ours needs and worries. Wasnt pushy at all. Gave us the opportunity to sleep on it and all. We called the next day and they took care of us and gave us a great deal. We took the car to the mechanic and it was in great shape. They offer quality cars at great prices. I will recommend them anytime a conversation of car buying comes up.. Great Family business, great cars and great deals!
