I was looking for the very specific Audi S5 - Luxury Blue. And there is so many S5s around, most black / gray / white. I don’t know why industry provides mostly boring colors nowadays. But when we started chatting with Jayden, he was able to make it right over phone / text within Sunday, so that we picked up the car on Monday. He: - ensured he understands my needs - found the car (in was not in Napa dealership - brought the car in - discussed the term and applied all the end of year deals - settled the trade in. Car pickup next day was a breeze. I’d like to also thank other people in dealership who proactively supported the deal (including financing, paperwork, atmosphere and a bottle of Napa wine 🥂.

This review is for the Service Manager, Charles Kim. From the moment, the GM, Julian asked Charles to personally oversee my new q6 eTron Prestige electrical and SW issues from delivery, I was in good hands. Charles is someone who is very diligent and when he says he will do something- he actually does. In this day and age- usually in the auto industry, sadly this is not a regular occurrence. My q6 eTron was in service for over 3.5 weeks and Audi Tier 2 Technical Support was out of ideas on how to solve my electrical and SW gremlins. I was asked to pick up the vehicle since Audi was aware of the issues and that I was not the only one having these connection issues with MMI user profile, myAudi app, Plug N Charge, Digital Key. Charles made sure I had a brand new 2025 Audi q5 as a loaner while my car was in service. And Charles went to bat for me asking Audi to provide some form of compensation since my car didn’t work from the get go. (Audi of America CS is a separate issue since they denied his request). Charles also went out of his way to follow up with me afterwards and took care of me afterwards. I appreciate his integrity and diligence. He’s also a friendly guy. If you need your Audi serviced and you are near West Covina, take your Audi to WC. Charles and his team will take care of you.

We are writing this email to express our sincere gratitude for the way we were treated by the staff at Norwalk Audi. We purchased a Q5 after an extensive search for the exact car I wanted. Alex, Pier, Joe and Ghazal (in that order) were patient, knowledgeable, and very competent when answering questions about the vehicle. From the start, Alex was helpful in narrowing down our wants and needs, all while being professional and specially not pushy. Just facts and let the car do the talking. Next, we were introduced to Pier, who covered the car features and took us on a test drive. He was able to showcase the features we didn’t even know we wanted and most definitely enjoy. He covered the options available to us without hesitation all while being thorough. During a short break in the process, my husband and I ran into Joe, the Service Manager. He was also patient answering our questions such as, what types of service an Audi might need in comparison to a BMW (current vehicle). We got lucky since he is new to the dealership transferring in from managing the service department at BMW. He was able to relate to my questions, comments and the comparisons to my beamer. Last but not least, we met Ghazal in the Finance Department. She definitely knows her job. She made us feel at easy during the most stressful but exciting part of the process. Yesterday, I brought my 2023 Q5 to Audi Pacific Service - Calbear92

Yesterday, I brought my 2023 Q5 to Audi Pacific Service since the power telescopic tilt button on the Q5 was not in its proper position- slightly depressed in and angled down so one could not lower the steering wheel. I only chose to go to Pacific since it was the closest dealer in the rain and they said getting a loaner “hasn’t been a problem.” [Background, car was at Audi Long Beach the day before for oil change, but I forgot about the steering column button issue]. Upon arrival to Pacific in Torrance, I was greeted and met Service Advisor, Jonathan. He seemed nice enough. Once I told him of the main issue- he went to physically inspect it and got the shop foreman to look at it to see if it was something easy to fix. [and another on-going MMI and Bluetooth issue that’s known across most Audi platforms.] He came back and said that it looks like “outside influence” and that’s not under warranty. It would cost $310. “If it was something easy to unbolt a screw, I would just do it for you, but you have to drop the entire steering column.” I declined. He also said that if your car was just at another dealer- you should go back to the selling dealer (not possible since in San Diego) or the most recent service dealer since you have a relationship with them on THIS car. This button is on the lower left side of the steering column and slightly recessed. One of the clips on the inside was not holding it in proper position, but the inuendo that “we” broke this is absurd. There’s no physical damage. This is the 1st time (and likely last) that this car has been brought to them- I had a terrible experience with a previous service writer several years ago on my eTron SUV where I asked for my keys back and would not return while he was still working there. I will appreciate Jonathan's frankness. He said that I should take the Q5 back to Long Beach or BH since I have had the car serviced there before and since I have an established relationship with them on THAT car- they had more leeway to offer “goodwill” and cover that issue. I was shocked that when he told me that the button was now inside the steering column since the foreman pushed it in while trying to assess. When I actually got into the vehicle- there was now an open hole in the lower steering column and a loose button. Since this was caused by the foreman and it was returned this way- this is not returning the vehicle in the same condition as it was brought it. Not taking responsibility since I declined their $310 charge. Not acceptable. What’s more outrageous- I took Jonathan’s advice and went back to my regular service advisor at Long Beach today. (Charles is awesome!). He not only greeted me when I pulled up- he already saw my note- personally took the vehicle straight into the service. In 15 minutes, the car was ready. Not even paperwork needed since it was a single Torx screw to remove the lower steering column plastic panel and put the power control button back into proper place. I even got a snack in their new comfortable, location. Moral: stick with Audi Long Beach for your Audi service needs.

Beyond terrible customer service in the parts department. I walked in to ask for windshield wipers for my S5. I am given a quote that is nearly 50% higher than a nearby Audi dealership in OC. The gentleman refused to price match and said that this location's profit margin has to be higher and they cannot match a price listed directly on an official Audi dealer website. Also, your phone number listed on the Audi South Coast website for the parts department doesn't connect and says this number is out of service, you might want to fix that. You lost a customer not only for a small part such as windshield blades but also any chance of me bringing my S5 in for service. Will happily take my car to Audi Fletcher Jones.
