I had a very positive experience with Elk Grove... - Car Lover
I had a very positive experience with Elk Grove Volkswagon. The salesman, Bobby Williams, went out of his way to accommodate me while test driving the Atlas Cross Sport. I brought my dog and he dog sat while I drove. He was never pushy, just a really nice person. When it came to purchasing the car, he did his best to help me get the price I wanted. He succeeded and the dog and I have a new car that we absolutely love. Later, when questions arose, I texted him for help and he responded promptly. The finance manager was also very pleasant and efficient. He got me out of there without a big push to buy extras, which of course I appreciated. Everyone else, the receptionist, the other salespeople, etc. were helpful and made my experience a good one. I would definitely recommend this dealership and the new Atlas Cross Sport!

We have a brand new Volvo and have had to take it in for a service on 3 separate occasions. In all cases, we had to wait weeks for an appointment and in each situation, they weren't able to get to our car on the scheduled appointment day. They informed us late in the day and we had to scramble to find (and pay for) a rental car so they could keep our car overnight. This is exceptionally inconvenient since we have a new baby and one car. I can understand an exception once but 3 times?! When I conveyed our disappointment with the manager, Dan, I was told we are only one of many customers and this treatment is acceptable. I’m shocked at how poorly we were treated.

Definitely wouldn’t recommend going here. I was adamant about buying a car there and was prequalified already. I spoke to the sales rep Emily who said she will make sure that everything is processed quickly and the following day. This was on a Tuesday and I called back Wednesday because I didn’t hear from her and then found out she’s out till Friday. So then I got transferred to another sales rep and told them that I’m already prequalified and would like to come test drive the car. They ignored everything I said and then ran my credit through their own financing which gave me a hard inquiry on my credit report and then never got back to me again and then I had to follow up again Thursday afternoon and make it clear that I’m pre approved already. They said they will call me back but never did. Friday came around. I called again and finally got transferred to the finance manager. He called the bank and called me back and said I’m approved, at this point the bank also ran my credit and put another hard inquiry on my credit report. He said I’m approved. I said I’m ready to move forward and he said he will get back to me. By this time it was Saturday. He said he would call the bank and get right back to me but never did. I reached out to him on Sunday and then he told me the car has been sold.
So I went through this whole process only for everything to be delayed, when I was already approved. Also received two new hard inquiries on my credit report and never even received the car. Such xxxxty service. Nobody was on top of anything. For some reason they wouldn’t take my approval. They only wanted to finance through their own bank and because of this they put another hard inquiry on my credit report that I never agreed to.
I definitely wouldn’t recommend shopping here.

My husband and I went to Stevens Creek Volkswagen to look... - mrscourtneyreed
My husband and I went to Stevens Creek Volkswagen to look at a new Atlas. We live in Santa Cruz, but the Santa Cruz Volkswagen dealership is awful, so for us it was worth the drive. The first day we met with Bang and he was wonderful! He showed us a few different Atlas’ and they were great but didn’t have exactly what I was looking for. It was late so we decided to come back the next day. When we came back, we worked with Alex and again, he was wonderful! He found a new Atlas with everything that I wanted. As we were talking he asked if I would be interested in a CPO lease return. I said yes and he showed us a top of the line Atlas with every bell and whistle. Since it was a lease return, it was close in price to the new lower model we had been looking at. We were sold! Alex made the negotiation process a breeze and never pressured us of made us feel uncomfortable. He was upfront and laid back the whole time.
I would HIGHLY recommend making the trip to San Jose to go to Stevens Creek Volkswagen if you’re in the market for a VW. Everyone was so nice and professional. We’ll be making the drive to have our Atlas serviced here because they’re so great.

I brought a CPO GTI Autobahn with 30k miles. After owning... - Jason M
I brought a CPO GTI Autobahn with 30k miles. After owning it for a couple of months I posed the hood to clean some leaves out and decided to check the oil for no real reason. No oil showed on the sick so I added half a quart, nothing. I added the rest of the quart, nothing. Then another quart, then anther. It finally registered after adding more than 4 quarts of oil. I looked up how much it should take in total and was shocked that I had been driving around with almost no oil in the engine. Holly crap, that's not good. Does the check oil light not work in GTI's?
The dealer dismissed this saying 'these cars just burn a lot of oil'. If that's case then they should make sure the check oil light works and tell you to check the oil frequently. I took it to a different dealer for long term testing which showed the engine burned virtually no oil. I did not want to keep this car with what I was certain was an engine destine for a very early death. VW refused to buyback the car. After running some long term tests a lot of back and forth with Bozzani VW they offered a warranty extended to 10 years and 100k miles. With that being the best offer I took it, and now I regret it.
A couple of months ago the engine began making noise. I took it in and the new dealer, Downtown LA Volkswagen, found shreds of metal in the oil. The engine was eating it’s self. I got the car back on the last day of the CPO warranty - the service dept thought I should be very appreciative of this incredible ‘luck’. I didn’t feel good about any of this. The car barely made it several miles away before erupting in clouds of smoke. Popping the hood revealed many screws were not put back in place including those that were supposed to hold the bumper on. They hadn’t finished the job when the gave me my car back. The had the nerve to ask me to tow it back to them ‘tomorrow’ as it was getting late in the day. A) Collecting the car they broke is their job and b) I didn’t want to comeback tomorrow and deal with it. I had to argue to get them to come get the car. No apologies regarding the botched install job what so ever.
When I finally got my car back I noticed right way the interior of trunk had been take out then piled up in the back of the hatch. They could not explain this and suggested that I imagined it.
Pretty quickly I noticed new engine sounded different, and it was harder to get it to start. I could hear valve chatter bouncing off parked cars when I drove down side streets with my windows open. Also the fan seemed to run more often and longer after I stopped the car. Noticing all of these things more and more I decided to pop the hood and check the oil, which was fine. However the top of the air intake was missing. After a good look around my friend noticed it stuck in the radiator fan. The fan belt was still going but the blades themselves were not moving. Ugh. I put the air intake cover back on and fastened it with a zip tie. I don’t think running your car through multiple heat waves with no fan is as bad as running a car with no oil but it is terrible for the engine and has undoubtedly damaged the engine, just how much only the future will tell.
Volkswagen of Downtown LA told me as compensation they would sell me my next car wholesale. They did not honor this promise. That was the first Volkswagen I ever owned and it will be the last.
Horrible experience - electrasummersong
I had a 50,000 mile service for my 2012 Turbo Beetle. I asked for a complete safety check while the car was in for service. I made a point to ask that all belts hoses seals be checked. I was sent a video telling me my car was in excellent shape. A few weeks later my battery went out. Triple A was not able to replace the battery as it needed to be "reset" at a dealership. Back to Bozzani. I made an appointment and paid for the battery and installation. While waiting for my car I looked over my invoice. The mechanic had made some notes that concerned me. I walked up to Ruben Sandoval at the service desk and asked why there were items checked that were replaced three weeks earlier. Nothing major but I had just paid for wind shield wipers and new filters during the last service. His comment to me was "its a different mechanic" What??? He went on to say its nothing. and then took his pen and scribbled over the mechanics notes. What???? I then said how about the serpentine belt. Ruben (who had not looked at my car) told me it was nothing and just a different mechanic. What???? I told Ruben I wanted to talk to the mechanic. Once again Ruben told me it was nothing. What???? A wonderful young man came into the office. I voiced my concerns and he asked me if I wanted to see the belt in question, We walked to my car (with Ruben hot on our heels) and the mechanic pointed to the obviously worn out belt. Ruben tried to say it wasn't that bad. What????? The young mechanic held his ground and showed me the bits of rubber and the frayed area of concern. I could see it myself and I was shocked. I asked if it were safe for me to drive the car. He said no if the belt broke my engine would seize up. The repair was around $100 and took 15 minutes. This should have been noticed and fixed when I went in for the big service which by the way cost me $1,100). The battery that was in the car had not been installed properly and moved around because a bracket was not used. The mechanic pointed this out to me. Ruben Sandoval was dismissive of a woman client. His treatment of me at Bozanni Volkswagon needs to be reported to upper management. I need to take my car back and have a proper safety check done. I chose to have my repairs done at our local Volkswagon dealership . I hope someone reaches out to me and oversees the safety check of my car. Barbara Caplan

Total waste of time. I confirmed three times end I kid you not three times the price in the car before I went in. The price was wrong, and they didn’t even have the car.
Fraud. Zero stars just not an option - Recall fraud
Do not take your car here. You will be returned a car that will be returned with more problems than when you took it at your cost to repair. They are dishonest, do not return calls and often keep vehicle for over a week. You have to go in person to schedule appointments as no one will return or take calls. Drive to a further service center and save yourself time and money. And do not count on any honesty what so ever. I don’t mention customer service because they do not offer any.
Would not recommend this place at all - amandanavarro1985
When I first got VW the Sales team was great, they were very eager to help me of course because they wanted to make a sale. Since then (now owning the car) when I go in for maintenance on my car I am treated like I am inconveniencing them! I have gone in to ask questions about my car and I barley get looked at or my questions answered as if I am inconveniencing their time. I recently we in there because of an error light connected to my air bag is on, I was told that my whole electrical system in my steering wheel is not working, therefore I am not able to use my horn, or anything connected to my steering wheel. When I turn my wheel, it makes a terrible clicking sound that's extremely worrisome.
I was told a part would be ordered and they would call me when its in to fix it! Really? your letting me drive away with a air bag light on and no horn? Thats safe? the bigger problem is here we are 8 days latter and I am still with out a working wheel and no part and I have to hunt VW down to see where this part is and when my car will be fixed and yet again when I call I am the annoyance to them. And still no ETA on when my car will be fixed.
Thank you VW for allowing me to drive my kids around and feel oh so safe, not offering me a loaner car while my car is fixed for a problem that was not of my doing, and always treating me like xxxx when I call. Your costumer service is terrible and you really could use some training on how to treat people.
