I have purchased multiple vehicles from Mitchell, two in the past few months and I keep coming back due to Shelly! She is by far the kindest, most thoughtful and transparent employee to have in the car industry. I appreciated the fact that she was with me every step of the way from initial contact to plates on my new truck. She didn’t just get my business and forget about me. Her follow up was courteous and friendly. While she was professional, her contacts felt like they were coming from a concerned friend and not a sales employees. My salesman was Bill and while I was doing paperwork that took a very long time due to the fault of my insurance company, Shelly watched my son, fed him lunch and made him balloons. That’s a touch that you do not see in any place, nevermind a car dealer! You go in to get a car and you leave with a nice friend. Kind people are rare in the world and finding gem employees is hard. I encountered an interesting experience while attempting to evaluate a used car for purchase. The car in question has been on the lot since at least June '21 according to carfax documentation and a prior personal visit to the lot (looking at a different car). Upon our visit in Sept '21 the vehicle had not been moved in quite sometime as evident from the dead grass underneath, mud crusted tires once moved.... oh yes, the dead battery and broken hood latch. After assisting the sales rep with getting the hood open and vehicle jump started.... the car drove well. We also pointed out the cracked and peeling sunroof gasket and the misaligned trunk panel.
All in all, I did still want to 'negotiate' a price. I was taken aback by what came next- The sales rep returned from the normal manager discussion and it resulted in them informing me that the vehicle price was just being updated that day(Saturday) to $18,995 from the web price I came in with ($16,995). I had the lower price still on my phone (since scanning the QR code on the car but 30 minutes before) - yup refreshing the page showed the higher price.
In their graciousness, they of course would honor the web price... but only if I wanted to buy the car that day.
I walked out, disgusted.
I realize that c*vid has caused many issues, car inventory being one of them... the inability to negotiate clearly one of them.... however this tactic was over the top in my opinion.
P.S. The following business day the inflated web price is already $700 lower--clearly they upped it too much. I certainly hope with the extra $1,400 they might be proactive and replace the hood latch cable, battery and sunroof gasket. --- probably not.

I have been dealing with Bradshaw's for many years. Over these years, I have dealt with every department. The parts department has always had the right parts for my vehicles and I have never felt overcharged. Dave, Rick and Steve in service have done everything in their power to accommodate my needs within a reasonable time frame. My cars have always been repaired to my expectations and never has there been any grease or dirt left inside or outside the cars by the mechanics. Maryann in the warranty department is very knowledgeable and has handled everything without a single problem. Joe in sales is on top of his game. He inquired as to what I wanted in a vehicle and found the perfect one for me in my price range. Since the sale he has followed up with me to make sure I was happy and there weren't any problems with the car. Jack went over all the paperwork with me explaining every detail so I knew what and why I was signing. And if all that wasn't enough, Sue Atkins, the owner, and her husband, took the time to talk to me about my experience. You will never find a more courteous. customer friendly, and knowledgeable staff than the one at Bradshaw's !!!!

Pamby Motors. Don’t take your vehicle there. I was told not to but didn’t listen. Took it there to have a recall fixed, wheel alignment and brake job. Got a huge bill which I understand to a point because the Jeep is 30 years old but then other issues started popping up. It wouldn’t start then they needed to repair more of the brakes because they don’t make the brake parts any longer. I paid my bill and had to have my Jeep towed. I read other complaints and they are based in truth. Only time will tell if the work they performed will last. I am not going to comment on the staff because they were professional. I find it very suspicious that they tried to recoup costs of a recall.

They never should have changed the staff in the service department. Complained that there is something wrong with exhaust/emissions last 3 or 4 times I was there. Engine light comes on for the second time in as many months. An emission problem they said. I also needed my emissions test done at the same time. They did the test BEFORE checking why the engine light was on and my car failed the test. There were other problems that I'm sure were there on my previous visits that all of a sudden they found. I took my car to another mechanic and he found more issues than Robert's had told me. This mechanic told me also that I yes indeed do have an exhaust issue even though Robert's service manager told me he checked himself and there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. Evidently unless your check engine light comes on and a code comes up on the diagnostic to tell them what to do they can't do a thorough inspection on their own. Take it to a self owned mechanic and he thoroughly checks the car and finds the issues by actually looking for them. The price of fixing all of the actual issues is so high that I will be looking for a new vehicle when I least need to be. I have been a faithful customer for over 12 years but with such disrespect for me and my vehicle I will be looking elsewhere for my new vehicle. Loyalty obviously means nothing here.
