I set out to buy a puzzle on Saturday December 23 and ended up buying a Challeger instead. How did that happen you ask? Papas Dodge, that's how. It was late in the afternoon and my family and I decided to stop by to have a look at the 2018 Challenger GT AWD. Despite the ice storm that morning and the upcoming holiday weekend, Ali came out and cheerfully greeted us. We still got the red carpet treatment, including a toasty warm test drive after Ali meticulously cleaned off a car. Then I thought "after all these years am I really going to get a new Challenger?". I started to break out in a sweat. What if I got a good deal? How could I walk away? Well, after showing them the picture of me and my 1970 Challenger R/T, Ali didn't let me walk away. He got me great deal and now I have a beautiful Challenger in my driveway again, 30 years later. Awesome. Thanks for making it happen Ali, Jeromy and Mark!

I just leased a Mazda CX5 from Modern Mazda in Thomaston, CT. I live in the Litchfield Hills, so it was quick and easy to get to. Everyone at the dealership was really helpful, especially John "Fish" Salmon, who is a salesperson who really knows everything there is to know about his product line. He was very enjoyable to deal with and excellent about answering questions in person, on the phone and over email. The car rides really smoothly and has lots of nice features. The 2018 especially has a load of safety features and really nice wheels!

Was in desperate need of a new car and stopped by to start getting ideas of what I wanted. Wound up walking out leasing a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee and I love it! The sales associate Mike Losacano was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He took his time with any and all questions we might have. We also meet the GM John Rossetti who was great to work with as well. Never once felt like I was making the wrong decision. Even weeks after my purchase they called to check up that everything was going well and to see if I had any questions about the car.

Never again! - angry with Gengras
I bought a Ram 1500 from Gengras in 2016. Since that purchase, I've been fighting with Gengras to fix the front end (drifts to the left). After a year and five visits, Gengras determined that there was nothing they could or would do to fix my front end. They sited some obscure technicality as to why they were "off the hook". The technicality is this: "as long as the vehicle tracks straight for five seconds, the vehicle is within spec.” The service manager drove with me on my final visit and noticed my truck drifting into another lane. He then stated "it crossed into another lane after five seconds" and that he wasn't responsible. I told him his logic was BS - that the term: "track for five seconds" means that the vehicle must track STRAIGHT for five seconds, then begin to drift (in order to qualify). He wouldn't listen to logic and just kept saying there was nothing he could do.
Bottom line: the truck's front end drifts and Gengras is refusing to fix it.
I then emailed the Gengras brothers and the general manager, explaining my whole experience (a years worth of visits). They NEVER responded. Talk about shockingly bad customer treatment. At this point, I'm selling my truck and buying something OTHER than Dodge (Toyota: I've been treated well by them in the past). I will NEVER buy another Dodge again.
If I thought the CEO of Dodge would listen to my story, I'd send him an email explaining who he has working for him. Of course, he probably wouldn't care less, which only strengthens my resolve not to buy Dodge ever again.
2011 Dodge Grand Caravan - Dimmie44
We were replacing a 2004 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT and wanted something almost the same as it is a van we use for transporting three very large dogs. We saw a 2011 on Carfax and called on a Monday morning. We drove it home Tuesday afternoon. Dealing with Eddie was a pleasure, as he was quite knowledgeable about vehicles. If the situation arises where we are looking again we will definitely call Eddie. It is over an hour away, but worth the trip.

I was very surprised at how I've been bringing my car over the last 5 years here to the dealership to do any fix on it. And recently the customer service was awful the workers didn't do exactly what they was told about what was wrong with my car and they took further decisions to take out a different part of my car without consulting me. My car didn't turn on and it wasn't drivable when I went to pick it up. This is the worse thing to do to a customer!!!

Being that I am a new college graduate I had decided to gift myself with my first Jeep. I had see an online ad for a the vehicle that I had interest in and requesed a test run. I was scepticle coming here considering that this place gives me more of a buy/here, pay/here feel, but I wanted to give them the benift of the doubt and and go. Upon arriving the staff was not welcoming and my sales guy was less than enthusicastic to have a potential sale. Fast foward, I was presented with the vehicle of which had numerous scratched on both the front and rear bumper (something that they did not make clear in the advertisement). Furthermore, when driving the radio controls did not work the ENTIRE drive! This was a great save on my part and the body damage alone was the icing on the cake. However, my sales guy stated that it was a new software update and the car needed time. Nice try, but theres no need to cover up for a lemon that you have no business selling. I just want my story to be known because you may experience the same thing from this dealer. Its always ok to walk away because you will find something better and cheaeper elsewhere, I did.
Be prepared for a horrible service department - RAV4_88
Part of buying from a dealership is what you can expect from their service department. The dealership is beautiful and conveniently located from Danbury. They fail to mention that you must travel another 10 minutes down the road to the middle of town for the Service Department until after you purchase a vehicle.
The Service Department claimed that they didn't hear the death rattle coming from my 2011 Jeep Compass until after 3 trips in for service I demanded they come for a ride with me. Suddenly they heard it and ordered the part (after arguing that it was out of warranty because they failed to comprehend on the calendar October comes before November.) After fixing the rear axle they were supposed to order the same part for the front. Getting tired of waiting for my Jeep to either be fixed or break down again, I traded it in for a RAV4. When I called to cancel the part, I found out they never even bothered to order it! Additionally, my vehicle was also returned to me with greasy handprints all over the windows and paint.
Lastly, they offer NO loaners! What kind of dealership does not offer any sort of loaner service for warranty work even if it is through Enterprise?
Buy from Pamby if you must, but don't expect excellent service to continue through your ownership.
