Everything went Great! - Thomastb
We were looking to trade in a family vehicle. We found everything we needed and then some . Austin Boyd and CJ killed it for us and were amazing at getting the job done. They were friendly but didn’t fluff things up. Buying a car is stressful so it is nice when the sales people don’t mess around and get to the point. We were in an out. Hands down best experience by far!!!!!

Great Experience!! Great Team!! - CavsFan23
Came in looking at a used 2015 Trax and met Gabe. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicle as well as very personable. We had a budget and realized buying might not be the best fit. Gabe recommended leasing a new one instead and got us a great deal! We didn’t even think about leasing a new one until Gabe suggested it. Very happy he did. The staff worked with us on the payment and made an amazing deal happen. We couldn’t be happier and would recommend anyone looking for a new or used vehicle to go see Gabe at Kerry! Thanks guys!!
Exceptional experience - Terri
I’ve always been a bit leery about salesmen. I had looked for a reasonable vehicle with a a price to match for about a month with no luck. A friend of mine was very happy with his dealer and offered to make a call. Great, right?! One small catch...his car dealer was in his hometown in KENTUCKY and well, I’m from TEXAS!! He made a call and within 5 minutes I had Adam Lynch calling me to explore options. I explained what I was looking for and the price range I was wanting to stay within for my budget. He stayed on the phone with me for about an hour while we looked through vehicles. I found a 2018 Chevy Silverado. Kelli sent me an email to apply. I thought surely it was a lost cause. He said he would work on it. I thought yeah right, he has more hopeful looking apps I’ll get put last. I was so wrong!! Adam worked on my paper work with Mr. Tim. Adam kept in touch with me and was available for any questions I had. I know I mentioned the different states, but I’m talking 1200 miles and a 2 hour time difference as well. I know there were many times he was off the clock and still helping. You think it’s a lot of time and effort to fill out paperwork? Try doing it through the mail!! Thankfully, they made it simple. Paperwork submitted and accepted just left me finding time to get the truck. I had intentions of flying, but they did me one better!! They were able to use my car as a trade-in which meant I could drive my car there and come back in my new truck. Here comes Adam again. It would be 2 weeks before I was able to make the trek to Kentucky. You’d think the deal is done so the salesman has done his job and it’s all over. Nope! Adam kept in touch the whole time...even during my drive. He “wanted to make sure my truck was nice, shiny, and ready for me”. (Paris had 4 inches of snow the day before I was to arrive). My daughter and I arrived about 6:00 pm. Because he was helping other customers, he texted me to let me know he had already made arrangements for me to meet with Mike Brown to turn over my car, grab the keys to my new truck and be on my way. Mike took us to get our things from the car and we were out within the hour! Adam messaged me to check on us on the way home. My overall experience was far worth more than I could have ever imagined. The drive was filled with beautiful scenery and quality time with my daughter. This truck buying experience was the absolute best. 😊

Great service . Best experience yet on my Saturn Sky - Karl COOLEY
I took my car into Jeff Wyler and was told the car would be repaired and ready by a certain time by Daymond Geary. He was very personable and my car was repaired and ready at the time he said. You just don't get any better than that. Thank you guys.

Thank you to Todd Duncan for a stress-free and pleasant car buying experience. It was great to work with Todd and the rest of the Dutch's team to get exactly what I wanted at a price I could afford. If you are looking for a vehicle I highly recommend you visit Todd Duncan at Dutch's Ford.

Very professional and fair - Nikita
I found a car I liked online and contacted them via their website. I got a response within 10 mins of the dealership opening that monday. I was an out of state buyer who had never financed a car by myself. I was unsure of the process and was nervous about driving so far for a car I knew nothing about. They pulled all the service records and told me everything about the car. Then the sales man I worked with David Johnson called me and was very willing to answer all my questions. I recieved all the paperwork I needed to see before I planed my trip. He had me approved on a loan within 30 mins. The day I had an appointment to go see the car he had it detailed and already ready for me. After I drove the car, he had all the paperwork prepared for me and it only took maybe another 20 mins to finalize everything. The sales staff are very polite, honest and professional. They were very fair on their pricing and didnt push anything extra on me. I was very pleased with the service I received and would highly recommend this dealership.
Jim Jones - Mmwh228
From day one this dealer was very helpful and made the purchase process awesome. It was a great experience all around. I definitely recommend shopping at the Jeff Wyler Chevrolet in Louisville, KY. Jim Jones was an excellent sales representative and full of information with a great attitude! Thank you so much!
Transparent, honest and best deal! - nokings
I am very happy with my experience at McFarland. They offered me a great deal from the moment I reached to them, the best among many dealers I checked with.
Mr. Rick Newsom was very prompt and generous at clarifying all my doubts, no pressure and really made the experience hassle free.
They cleaned the vehicle well and topped it with gas before giving it too me, not all dealers do that.
It is a family business and the Mr. McFarland himself came to greet me and thanked me for the business. I will very happily do business with them again.
Friendly and fast - vregenauer
No complaints the staff is friendly and the service was satisfying and accurate and the wait time was very short. When have an appointment or no appointment the fit me right in.
Excellent buying experience at Piles - msimps
I recently just bought a new car from Piles Chevrolet in Dry Ridge. I bought a used cruize for my first "big" car purchase and I was honestly kind of nervous! But the people that I worked with at Piles provided an excellent first time buying experience. I worked with Danny Coulson and he was truly the best. He was very helpful, provided excellent suggestions and worked with me to find a car that was the best fit for me! Danny provided many great suggestions, as he is very knowledgeable about his job and every vehicle on the lot. Thanks to Danny and a great finance team for my new car!!
What a difference - jwalle2000
I was looking for a 2018 Colorado ZR2. I used my bank's car buying service and was pointed to a dealer in Frankfurt and Rod Hatfield here in Lexington. I had hear nothing but negative feedback on that dealer but since my bank gave me a fixed price I decided to give the lady who called me a change.
I showed up at Rod Hatfield and met the Lady and was immediately passed off to a standing salesman. Who them proceeded to minimize the lady and said he be right back he had to talk to his manager. He proceeded to go behind the glass and yuk it up with I assume his manager. I waited 5 to 10 minutes and walked out, blocked their phone calls and figured I was done with wanting a new truck.
I had a 2015 Silverado LTZ and was getting the service done at Sutherland . The interactions were great and they had gone above and beyond to fix a few things that really didn't need to be and do it parts cost.
I met with Denver and he was polite and respectful the whole time. He introduced me to the owner and aside from the finance guy Denver was the sole person I talked to. No, talking about payments, and the four square BS...just a straight deal, simple for both he and I.
Its amazing what a difference in attitude and culture can make in the car buying process. Everything you read about the Lexington dealer is likely correct...I would recommend Sutherland if you don't mind a few miles...
Great group of people - LexKristin
I visited my local Lexington Buick dealership before making a call to Tim Short in Winchester and talking to a salesman named Joe. He made leasing my new Encore very easy and when this lease is up, I'll be back to get another.
Excellent service - Troy Cobb

Best Car Buying Experience I've Ever Had - courtney26
Sales guy Scott was a pleasure to deal with. Answered all our questions and helped us get a good deal on our vehicle! Well worth the 2 hour drive! Thanks!
Very pleasant experience! - Chevyguy
We came to look at new Chevy trucks, found 2 we liked very much and then settled on the one we wanted. Salesman, Lacy Larkins (whom we had dealt with in the past), Manager, Robby Phillips and Randy Ro in Finance were all so very helpful from start to finish. No pressure, just very helpful in every way. Thank you all! We love our new Chevy Silverado!
Thank You, Scott Ferguson!!! - love bulldog #1
Scott Ferguson, made buying my new car very easy. He did a good job explaining everything. There was no high sale pitch that you get from some other dealerships.
Awesome buying experience - Misty P
We bought a new vehicle from Big M Cheverlot in Radkliff KY today. It was the best buying experience on anything we have bought before. We will definitely buy any new vehicles from this dealer in the future. The sales team, Louis, Tiffany, and Dennis, was awesome. They were friendly and informative. They weren't pushy. The customer service was off the charts. They worked hard to find us the best deal and financing. We went in with a pre-approval from another finance company. Louis stated he could get us a better deal. We were skeptical because we have heard that before. He was right, they got us a better deal. If you are in the market for a new vehicle you really should check them out. We drove 2 hours to check them out and it was well worth it.
Not going to this dealership any more - psb
Not so good - Prior to taking my vehicle in for service, I inquired about taking competitor coupons. I was told they did not but the rep asked if I was military. I told him no, but there are military in my household. He told me to have them come in with me and bring their ID - I would get the discount. Upon pickup up my vehicle at checkout, they were not honoring their word. First they told me nobody was at the dealership to process the discount, then they told me they were not going to honor their word because my name did not match the military ID. I explained what happened and they said they couldn't verify what I said - pretty much called me a liar (rude and insulting). I asked them to call the rep that told me I would get the discount. They said they didn't have a phone number for him. I suggested looking in their employee file - they found a phone number, called the rep, verified my story, then proceeded to tell me it was a misunderstanding (like I was a liar and it was my fault some how).
No apologies, no sorry for the inconvenience, no sorry to take up your time, nothing...just pay us the $1,000.00 for services and move on.
Well, move on is what I shall do - to another dealership.
Great place and people! - Ken&Barb
Tom Myers was our sales person, he was knowledgeable, friendly without being pushy. He walked us through the entire process. We had been shopping for over 8 months, we found a great deal at Legacy Chevrolet as well as great staff.
Great work from service dept. - Rick T
I've had them perform diagnostic & repair work on two different vehicles on two different occasions. They diagnosed & fixed the problems each time and for a fair price. We had taken both vehicles to two other repair shops previously, repair work was done and the repair bills were paid but the issues came right back, I spoke with Tim Midgett & explained the problems & work that had already been done, he assured me they had a service tech that could find & fix the problem and they did, Great Work!!!
Also had a similar experience with my GMC 3500 dually, they diagnosed & fixed the problem & Mary was in constant communication with me throughout the process, again, Great Work!!! I'll continue to use them in the future & will also recommend them to others.
Worse Dealership I've ever worked with! - Patrick
Herb Kinman is responsible for the worse car buying and owning experience I have ever had...period. Avoid this place at all costs! Drive a little further and buy from a dealership that doesn't have a "C" rating from the BBB.
I've had 10 lifters replaced in my truck in 4 years. In 2015 I had 2 replaced and was assured by HKC that it wouldn't happen again, that this was a fluke. A few weeks ago another lifter went out. I called HKC and the general managers solution was to sell me a new car.
Overcharged and lied to about taxes - TN Chel
I live in TN and frequently buy vehicles out of state. In the past, other dealerships have always handed me the paperwork upon purchase to take care of my sales taxes, license plate and registration. I was told that this dealership just takes care of it all for us. When I questioned that, I was told thats how they do it. So....I was charged, $1712.52 state tax, $31 Title transfer, and $91.00 for license/registration. Total: $1834.52. Six weeks passed, didn't have registration yet, contacted dealer and was told it can take 8 weeks. A week later, I got an envelope...it was a check for $1675.93 and a note telling me to go to the DMV and take care of my title/registration/tax. It took 7 weeks for them to basically give me the money they already charged me - and not ALL of it either. After two trips to my county office (they couldn't find the paperwork) I got it done. Of course it costed more than the check the dealership sent me ...obviously, given that they charged me $1834 but cut a check to me for $1675?
Do not trust this dealer - Repo Czar
While shopping online for a specific vehicle I learned they had the car I wanted and a good price with more features than I needed. It sounded too good to be true. I contacted them by email then they called me. On the phone we agreed to purchase the car and I placed a deposit of $500. I advised them I would drive my trade-in the 260 miles from my location the next day. I told this to Charles on the phone the day before I traveled and sent an email to the Internet Sales department saying I would be there after noon.
My wife and I drove to Lexington and when we were half way there my cell phone rang. It was Mr. Lee from Rod Hatfield telling me they had sent my car to a dealer in Florida. Needless to say I WAS ANGRY. I had gotten up early. Driven 120 miles. Turned around and driven 120 miles home and wasted a half tank of gas.
Do Not Trust Anything These People Say. They are so disorganized. One department does not communicate with the others.
They tried to switch me to another car or get the car I wanted from another dealer. I was so mad and disappointed I did not want anything to do with them ever.
You will pay more then the final price - YamahaRaptor2001
Nice people, Nice Vehicles. They are a business that sells vehicles daily and knows exactly how to get the max amount for a sale. Get home and find out you owe even more. If they do not know how to do the proper paperwork for a job that is what they do daily then they should be the ones responsible for the cost of the improper paperwork not the customer who was shown what the total was only to get home and find out they owe even more. There are other discrepancies that took place also that will not be talked about here until taken care of and settled. This review will be updated as the process continues.
