Amazing people! - Sierra33!
Everyone there is always so pleasant and willingly to help. Patrick sold me my brand new crosstrek and he was so helpful and explained everything to me! Shelly was also helpful when it came to the financing part. Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a new car!
Excellent service from very nice people - houghfamilymd
I came into the dealership because my Tuscon with 215,000 miles was not running well on Interstate 70. Dan Painter helped me purchase a new Elantra, he was very helpful and presented me with multiple options before I decided that the Elantra was the best deal for me. I am from Lusby, MD that is two hours away from the dealer and I was not prepared to buy a car that day but that was no problem. I mailed the Title and keys to the old car to Dan. He was very understanding and helpful, this is the third Hyundai that I have purchased and all the experiences have been great. Thanks to all who helped me at Ideal.
Stan Gabrovski - mv
Stan did a fantastic job working with us. He was very patient, explained everything thoroughly. No surprises, no hassle. I drove almost 2 hours for a particular vehicle and it was worth every minutes. I would definitely work with Stan again.
Great Deal Professional Service - rthamiltn
Great experience with Internet Team Leader Betty Jo Franco , Sales Manager Al Mccaffrey and Salesperson Chris Bowen. All provided a no pressure, professional atmosphere with accurate information and no trickery in the whole process. The price was very competitive and with the positive atmosphere demonstrated by these true professionals I made the deal with Thompson's hence the phrase There is no Deal like a Thompson Deal!

Best Service Experiences - AmandaH1980
I would really like to thank Bob Bell Hyundai's service department. I've owned two Hyundai Accents. Every time I go in for an oil change, it's a wonderful experience. They are professional and very efficient. I was quoted a 1 hour wait time, and they were done in under an hour. I recently had an issue with my car and they got to it first thing in the morning. Everyone was very helpful in answering my questions. I also appreciate their shuttle service if you live within miles. Their service department and their sales department are excellent. I was never fond of going to a dealership for basic maintenance but it is totally worth it!
Tried to scam me - Car
I visited the dealership and showed the salesperson and the sales manager, Jake, the quotes I received from the competitors to see if they are willing to match the price. I specifically asked "Out The Door (OTD)" price, and they assured me they could work it out for me. And then the sales rep asked me how much I was willing to pay for the down payment for finance rate purposes and I gave him a range to see which will get me the best finance rate. After 40 minutes of waiting, the salesperson and manager printed me a sheet that has a breakdown of MSRP, invoice, discount, fees, but also slid in the "our" down payment and made it look like it was a discount.
The MSRP of the car was ~$50,000 + tax & other fees ~$4,000 = $54,000 - "Total Discount" $12,000 = $42,000. But the "very generous" offer they gave me was $43,000. Basically, I almost paid $52k for $50k car. Are you joking? They could've just told me that they could not beat the competitor's price instead of making me spent almost two hours and exhaust us and then slap me in the face with this so-called "discount (aka my own downpayment)"
I found that out later and asked the sales manager about the "discount" because it looked somewhat similar to what I was putting in, and his tone completely changed and told me that it only makes sense for me to put down at least $12k to get the price down to $43,000,
Need I say more? It's totally up to you if you choose to work with them, but I would not recommend this dealership to anyone I know.
Ripped off twice with the same car, then on another car! - Bluekate
First time I was ripped off was they added $3000 to the original sales contract after I had signed the original sales contract for them to pay off my Ford mustang which originally said it was but they added the $3000 later in which was the difference owed on the mustang. So when 3 months came along Ford called me to tell me I owed $3000 on the car I had traded in to Jones 3 months before in which I thought Jones paid off but then later found that they changed my sales contract. I had to go back to Jones and have that $3000 added to my auto loan so I ended up being upside down on my new Hyundai Accent, took them to court and lost, shame on them.
Second time ripped off was years later with that same Hyundai Accent, I had a major transmission failure while driving so I had the car towed to Jones and they said that the car would be fixed under warranty and then a week later thinking the car was being fixed they called to tell me that the transmission was never serviced correctly when indeed I serviced it there even had proof that I did and that I had voided my 10 year 100,000 miles warranty with Hyundai because nothing was never done, total BS. So I just then had the car towed to another much more reliable shop to have a new transmission installed in which should have been under warranty. So I was completely done with Jones Junction. So about a month ago I decided to get another car at Jones Kia since my mother in law and father in law had bought cars there so I felt like I would try again, but then later screwed my in laws on their Subaru.
Third time they ripped me off. This place rips you off on extra warranties that you don't need and laughs at you when your car could possibly catch fire. Doesn't matter what brand you buy from them they rip you off they have the past 10 years with me. Here's my most recent experience (a month ago)- I had a major horrible scare with my 2018 Kia Niro within the first few weeks of owning with a very strong gasoline and burning smells in the cabin of the car. First I thought that maybe I spilled gas on myself, but no, it was coming out of the vents each time I either ran the AC or heat didn't matter what setting you had it on it was bad. Along with the gas smell there was also a burnt wire/plastic smell which was so bad I was expecting to see smoke or flames coming out of the vents, it never did. Both smells made me completely nauseous and sick each time I had to drive the car I had to put the windows down to feel better. The Dealership actually laughed and said it was part of the break-in process I said no way and they made me feel uncomfortable that they laughed at the fact I could of died in a fire, I've owned enough brand new cars and these smells were not typical break in smells, they didn't find anything wrong with the car as I couldn't deal with the sicking odors anymore as it was only getting worse. I felt so uncomfortable in the car feeling this sick. There were other things among the smells just didn't seem well for a brand car it lacked power and had jerky/missing during acceleration. Good bye KIA brand. I ended up trading it in on a 2019 Buick Encore (From Boyle Buick) which has been a wonderful vehicle in the past month since my trade of the junky KIA. If Jones responds it's not sincere and they just tell you it will be taken care of and they never follow though. So Please do yourself a big favor and don't buy from them unless you want to be out $$$$.
Alejandra Pena - Bob
Alejandra was a pleasure to deal with when I bought my new Hyundai Tucson. She gave me a great price quote over the phone, when I asked if she could beat another dealer's price, and she honored that quote when I drove to the dealership the next day to buy my car. She spent time showing me all the details of the car, and she insured that I was entirely satisfied with my purchase. Great deal, great vehicle, great car buying experience!
Disappointing - No choice
Though my mother, for whom I leased the car, appears happy with the car, the service thus far has been awful. Admittedly, it was very helpful that a Hyundai associate brought the paperwork necessary for the lease to my place of work because I was unable to get away, but given the level of service I have received since, it appears that was more about meeting individual sales goals than customer service. From the moment we arrived to pick up the car, no one from the dealership has seemed to care about assisting us, presumably because the lease agreement has been signed so they no longer care. I will note, however, that Kamari was helpful on the day we picked up the car.
one mistake after another - AnnoyedConsumer00
when I purchased my vehicle, it was used, I had. 3.5% interest rate from my credit union. I was told they would beat it. They gave me a 3.4%, a week later, they called and said the rate changed to 3.9% because the initial rate was for a vehicle $1000 less and they changed the bank I initially signed to finance through with them. I was registering my vehicle in Delaware and was told they had everything covered and had said I'd just tag it myself. They still had me do it through them, and after a month, they said I had to go to the Delaware DMV to get an inspection because it wasn't a valid inspection through them because I am registering in Delaware. So I couldn't get my tags or title after they had repeatedly given me wrong information and charged me for these services. Repeatedly I had to go through hoops after dealing with this company because they kept changing the information they gave me.

My experience was great in every way. Shavon greeted me with a smile and was very pleasant although it was before 8AM. Notifying about my vehicle Shavon was professional and personable.
I had to take a shuttle to work and the experience was great as well Grant was also pleasant and kind. You have an awesome team working for you and I will always use you all for servicing needs. As well as recommend you.
My one recommendation is to make sure your shuttle is parked in a place where it is easily accessible for your driver to receive it for your waiting customers.
Great Service! - Preston Hyundai Service ROCKS!
The service department was so helpful with an issue I was experiencing with my car. I drive over an hour to specifically go to this dealership for service as the Hyundai dealership closest to me provides poor service, but NOT Preston Hyundai their service department is the BEST! TY for the excellent service each and every time I come in!
Worst Customer Service - Younggirl22
Went to test drive Hyundai Kona 7/13/19 about 5:43pm Mr Sesay greeted us. Told him our interest that we wanted to purchase model Kona but wanted to test drive the Hyundai Kona ultimate in black. He checked his computer said he has one. Took my DLIC made a copy and asked if I had the coupon for the $50 to test drive- I said no but I can sign up and email it to you to print he agreed.
He proceeded to tell me he would be back. 20mins passed when he returned and proceeded to print the coupon - I filled it out with my address he took it gave it to the lady at the counter along with a copy of my DLIC came back to me shuck my hand and said “nice to meet you have a great weekend I don’t have a black Kona to test drive but you can come back anyway next week and we close at 6pm today”
I thought i was dreaming for a minute so I asked him why he took my LIC and where is the copy of my DLIC and the paper with my address, let me have it please. I was so 😡 and disappointed I left without saying a word.
To top it off someone called me today 7/14 and I asked if I would like to test drive i told him NO not after the horrible service I received from Mr. Sessy, I proceeded to ask him to remove my name from the system and don’t call me back he asked me why I asked if he was the supervisor he said no and sorry.
Service dept terrible - 02crabtree
Terrible experience in Service. Just needed an oil change Had an scheduled appointment and dropped off at 930am Saturday. Was told it would be ready by 1pm. Returned at 1pm and the lady said there were two cars ahead of me. Never offered a sorry or an offer to try and expedite. This place priorities walk-ins over appts with drop off. Do not waste your time.
