Sales Manager Lamore Merchant was the best! Aside from being a lovely person, he did everything he could to meet my needs price-wise, resulting in me buying a car from this dealership. He is extremely knowledgeable and patient. Answered all my questions and explained what I needed to know. Allowed me to leave a deposit and come back the next day for another test drive. The only negative about the process was the extremely long wait time for all aspects of the transaction to happen. Perhaps this was because I was there on the last day of the month and it was very busy. Otherwise......I was very pleased.

Came here around 6pm after work. Spoke to Juan, who let us know he was newer to the dealership. Me and my fiancé were looking at the Sante Fe Limited, we test drove a comparable model, and sat down. After initially saying we weren't looking to leave in one tonight (they close in an hour at this point, 8pm) he suggested we look at some numbers anyways. After showing them to us, and going back and forth briefly, things quickly became heated as Juan started actively ignoring us or our questions, positionally arguing trying to make any offer we made look stupid or ill-informed, and at that point refused to shake my hand as we tried to leave. Instead gets up to get a manager. Now after closing time, this manager comes up again telling me an astronomical number just the same as Juan. After trying to refuse over and over and leave, they both kept pushing until I literally had to tell them 'be a man, be respectful, shake my hand' as I was standing to go. After doing so being as polite as I could be at that point, the manager blurts out 'Im not calling you back buddy, call me when you calm down'. Meanwhile, within 24hrs, next day we went to Circle Hyundai in Shrewsbury NJ, got the same car we wanted at an even better price than I was originally pushing back for. Needless to say, steer clear of this place, look at dealer sales and satisfaction scores, there is a reason this place isn't winning any awards. On the contrary, highly recommend Circle Hyundai, decent people, normal conversations. Also recommend the Sante Fe, calligraphy or limited, now having one in the house already one night - I can see we picked the right car :)

Night drop off service - Expensive. Dealer published coupon not honored, check engine is trap. Selling the vehicle as vehicle not reliable, dealership service personnel does not care, check Engine every 3000 miles, and scare the customer for diagnosis fee. Parts expensive and technicians kept the car for a week, no service log tickets issues, Always driving on electric, but check engine comes on, as no smoke coming out. Check Engine gets "on" and "Off." More review will be provided after selling this PHEV car.

I am a new customer of Hyundai and it has truly been a nightmare. 5/14 i leased a brand new palisade and before i drove it off the lot features were not working (car play). I sent it to the service department a week later 5/21 and they said by 5/28 the part should be received - meanwhile this is a brand new vehicle. I was so graciously given a Kona loaner. Yep I bought the biggest safest vehicle for my family and I’m placed in a basic standard vehicle that is so small my daughters dance bag and groceries cannot fit in it and it doesn’t have power seating. Of course 5/28 comes around and the part is no where to be found and there’s no ETA. Corporate doesn’t care and the manager of towne Hyundai doesn’t care. Unfortunately the only pleasant people are in the service dept and my salesperson Esther, all of whom have no power to help me in this situation. Corporate says I’ll have an answer by 6/28. Everyone is “escalating “ my case but all that means is every 3-5 days I have to re- explain my frustration and get no resolution or compensation. I’m about to make my second hefty car payment for a car I sat in 5 times that’s collecting dust in their lot. I can’t drive it past 500 miles because then I can’t get the new part to fix my car??? So yes my car insurance went up for a more expensive car and I’m paying a luxury price tag for a base model Kona! I’m counting the days I can lemon law this and go literally anywhere else for a car

The service department seems to lack the understanding of the purpose of making an appointment. Yes I will drop my car off for my 8am appointment. No I should not be calling at 2:30pm and hear that you didn’t even look at it. The excuses of techs being out sick is getting old too. You don’t need a A tech to hook up a scanner to confirm the bank one 0-2 sensor is the issue. I did tge scan myself and confirmed with a mechanic. Less than 5 minutes to complete. I could have been a satisfied customer but now you lost my business moving forward. I think you should review if an 8am leave appointment should take place ahead of a 2:00pm wait appointment. Or simply state the truth in your scheduling AP. Do Better

We decided to go look at the new 2025 Hyundai Tuscon on the last day of the year (12-31-24) to possibly upgrade my Wife's 2020 Tuscon (53,000 miles) which has been a great reliable SUV with no major issues/expenses other than regular maintenance or wear & tear item replacement. Our plan was to go back to the Dealership who sold us our 2020, but we also included Franklin Sussex Hyundai which was closer to us. We were going to try Franklin Sussex Hyundai in 2020 but they had sold the Tuscon we wanted and had to go to the Dealership further out. Upon arriving at Franklin Sussex Hyundai, Alex (Sales Manager) dropped what he was doing to assist us and confirm the vehicle (Color Combination) was still 'In Stock'. Then, he immediately searched for an available Salesman (Solomon Deguzman) for us to go over some numbers. I've purchased many new vehicles throughout my lifetime and this is where the process often gets grueling! However, I found Solomon to be extremely pleasant from the get go which made the negotiation process very comforting while listening to our needs. I never felt pressured by him, which was huge for me due to my low threshold for patience at times like these. Solomon stayed good natured while going back & forth to present our numbers to Alex. We were able to come to a final deal without the grind a Buyer would often find with other Dealerships. This was truly one of my best experiences negotiating a new car purchase. Even, Brentt in Financing was very helpful to get us in and out. Solomon is also tech savvy with great knowledge of the vehicle itself and went out of his way to explain the nuances of the Tuscon. To make your experience as wonderful as ours was, I highly recommend you call ahead to request Solomon Deguzman (in forefront of photo) assist you with your purchase. Kudos to all the friendly people at Franklin Sussex Hyundai to get my Wife into her new vehicle!!! I'm adding an additional 5 stars *****!!!
