I’m extremely disappointed with my son’s recent experience at this dealership. I’ve personally purchased two vehicles from them before, and both times the service was excellent. Unfortunately, this time was completely different.
My son paid for the dealership to handle the vehicle registration process—something I’ve done with them before without any issues. We even reminded them that in South Carolina, property taxes must be paid before a vehicle can be registered. They assured us it would all be taken care of. Over a week later, he received both a call and an email saying he needed to go pay the property taxes himself in order for the registration to proceed. In other words, the very thing they promised to handle was not handled at all. It felt careless and unprofessional, especially since he paid them for that service.
To make matters worse, the finance person was extremely pushy about an extended warranty. They insisted he needed it, even though adding it would have raised his monthly payment from $175 to $264 and increased his interest rate. He had to repeatedly decline, and the pressure made the entire experience stressful and frustrating.
This dealership used to be one I trusted and recommended, but after this experience, that trust is gone. We expected the same level of service I experienced in the past, and instead my son was left feeling misled and taken advantage of. I hope the dealership takes this feedback seriously—loyal customers and their families shouldn’t be treated this way.
