I was driving through Shelby when I decided to stop at McDonalds. When I pulled into the drive-thru, my vehicle just died. Apparently the battery was on its last leg. After sitting and canvassing for help for 45 minutes, I remembered passing Marburger Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep Ram earlier that morning. Having nothing to lose, I called them and was patched through to the service department and spoke to the service advisor, Sheldon. After relaying my predicament, Sheldon assured me he would handle it. A few minutes later, a technician named Alvin showed up with a jump box and got my vehicle started. I offered to pay him but he refused.

I bring my 2019 charger here every time I need anything done to it, new management just recently came in and they are amazing, All COVID protocols are followed including with techs getting in your vehicle and Cara is the one and now the only one I will ask for she did absolutely everything to get everything I asked for fixed, including a rim the old management had scratched by removing the tire from rim and never fixed., so just ask for Cara and she will take care of you in the best possible way to make sure you’re happy with your vehicle when you leave.

Received the call that the parts were in. Set the appointment arrived got the recall done, drove 52 miles Check engine light. wrong color grab handle now a check engine light flashing. Called to inform them of my issue.

Dealer where I purchased the truck for what ever reason could not get the transmission part that needed replaced under recall. I called the 800 number on the recall notices, Patricia found what I needed at Deacon Jones in Smithfield. I also purchased some exterior accessories from DJ.
Everyone was polite and the recall items were taken care of, even though I did not purchase the truck from them.. A few days later i had them install accessories. Thought the price was a bit steep, though the job was done well. Deacon Jones will get my future service needs outside what was offered included with the new truck purchase..

Used this dealership before and has no problem. Today I called at 9AM and was given a 10AM appointment for an oil change. Arrived at 10AM and was at the end of a long line cars in quick. Told them when I checked in I had a 10 o'clock appointment. At 11AM I checked and my vehicle was still in the quick service line. At 11;30 I saw my van enter the service area. At 11;50 I watched my van leaving the service area. It was 12;10 when I drove away.
I was given a discount due to the long wait. Just don't understand why I was given a specific appointment, which did not mean anything. If I had been told when I called that I would have a long wait, I would of waited another day.

I have taken my Chrysler 200 in for service a number of times and have rarely felt good about it afterward.
Most recently, I needed a diagnosis for a chassis vibration and a new key fob. Terry, my service advisor did not offer updates (via text) unless I asked for them. Communication was horrible. I dropped off the car at 8am and didn't get a diagnosis until late afternoon. Then I had to ask for the cost to fix. Was never quoted a price on the key fob, which wound up being almost $250. Never again. All told, for a diagnostic and new key (opted not to have repairs done right away) the cost was $373. Seems like a lot for what I was given. But again, the horrible communication is my chief beef.

Do not buy a ram unless you want to have problems in under 36000 miles and they just tell you oh sorry nothing we can do. Had my fuel pump go bad at 30,795 miles and just because it was 3 years old in September they would not help me out on the part when the manufacturer was trying to work with them on replacing the part for me they denied it, even though i offered to pay the labor which i shouldnt have to either, because the part was defective,
nothing I did caused this to go bad. so they will never get any business from me or anybody i know. Youd think a ram is a dependable reliable truck thats why i bought it and with 3 kids and 1 income because of covid, youd think a $35,000 truck would last more than 30,000 miles and if not, ram would make it right smh. Horrible business practice
