I always try to shop local and put my money into Vernon as much as possible. I was very pleased that Vernon Auto Group was able to work with my schedule and get my car in after having to wait so long (2 months) for either parts to come in or for them to have time to check what was going on. However, I was not please by the fact that I got my car back with a deep scratch on the interior passenger handle of my car and also what seemed to be oil or something black that was smeared all over my passenger seat top to bottom that I had to scrub by hand being 7 months pregnant and not being able to completely remove them. My car interior is creme colored and stains/marking show up very easily on my cloth seats. So I’m not very happy that I got my car back in the condition that I did.

Took our srx in early January for collision-damaged rear-end. Just got it back YESTERDAY. One excuse after another, week after week, month after month. Insurance only pays for the rental for a month, so we were left with around $2000 or more rental fees. No help from Wagner. No offer to farm it out. No offer to help with the rental, or give us a loaner. NADA. Don't get me wrong, no one was rude. Just not terribly helpful, or sympathetic to the hardship being caused by them setting on our car for 3 MONTHS!

I purchased a Cadillac Escalade and was led to believe that purchasing the MasterTech Service Contract and Prepaid Maintenance Plan, which cost me $10,889.34, would cover anything that goes wrong in my car. I was specifically told to purchase a windshield replacement plan, key replacement plan and that this MasterTech service contract would be very important because of all of the electronics in my car. A few days ago, I took my car in to have a problem with the window checked and was told of some recommended services. I initially agreed to the services, but was told that my prepaid maintenance nor MasterTech Service Contract would cover these services. In addition, my windshield wipers needed to be replaced and I was told I had to pay for those too.
I am extremely disappointed in how I was misled when purchasing my cadillac. I took the finance representative and sales representative at their word. As a veteran, I am happy to support businesses as Cavendar Cadillac, but to be misled to purchase something this expensive to find out it doesnt even cover windshield wipers is unbelievable and wrong. I would NOT recommend this dealership, particularly the tactic to get you to purchase expensive prepaid maintenance plans that do not cover anything.
