I have had a terrible experience with Manahawkin Kia and - Maura Flores
I have had a terrible experience with Manahawkin Kia and would not recommend them to anyone. The service center consistently fails to fix issues properly, and the customer service is unprofessional and dismissive, especially toward women.
This is the second Kia I’ve purchased from John C., and I regret doing so. The problems started immediately when they sold me a car with a cracked windshield. Since then, my car has been in the shop four times in just three weeks, yet the issues remain unresolved.
The final straw was when I picked up my car after it had supposedly been repaired for two engine problems. The hybrid engine light came back on immediately, and instead of fixing the issue, they simply reset the light. My car stalled out as I was leaving their lot with my 18-month-old child in the back seat. A week later, I had to return again for another engine issue — one that had supposedly already been replaced.
To make matters worse, my air conditioning has now stopped working, and attempts to escalate concerns beyond the service manager are ignored. They refuse to connect customers with higher management and dismiss legitimate concerns instead of addressing them.
In my opinion, Manahawkin Kia cannot be trusted. I hope they take responsibility and do the right thing, but based on my experience, I strongly advise others to avoid doing business here
