This is an Awesome Dealership, with amazing people. I live an hour and a half away and they worked with me over the phone for a few days until I made my final decision. We had a little miscommunication about my trade in which I honestly thought it was gonna be a deal breaker and I wouldn't get the Audi, but to my surprise they worked hard to get me approved with my negative equity. Usually when you go to purchase a new car your thinking long waits and expecting to take up half your day but by the time I got there they literally had basically everything ready to go. I took the car for a test drive, loved it of course, we came back and they had paperwork ready to go. I was in and out in under an hour. Ethan is super friendly and he is on top of his stuff. Purchase review: one of the best trade-in and purchase experiences we’ve ever had (full stop). Devin and Anitra Traverso are the absolute cream of the crop. In summary… Trade-In values and purchase price were better than fair. Communication was clear. No gotcha’s or gimmicks. They even offered to drop off the new car and pick up the trades (out of state purchase). Finance rate was reasonable without negotiation. They even put up with me continuously trying to find the shoe that was going to drop (but never came). As someone who has bought and sold more cars than I’d care to admit, I can tell you that this will be the first dealer I return to if buying a Ford (even though it’s a two hour drive) or if trading/selling a vehicle of any make. Well done.

My Ford Taurus required a water pump replacement on the V6 Duratec engine. Maguire’s of Duncannon is FANTASTIC. I grew up in central PA but have lived in Pittsburgh since 2019. In 2023 I was visiting central PA and purchased a pre owned Bronco that I got for a great price w/ an excellent value on my trade. I work remotely so over the years I have gone to visit family and get my Bronco serviced at Maguire’s. 3 years and 50k miles of ownership later, I ran into my first issue with my Bronco. It was having a powertrain fault, so I had to take it to a close by Ford dealer in the Pittsburgh area. That Ford dealer tried to tell me I needed $11,000 worth of repairs and tried four times in that conversation to just pass me off to the sales department for a trade. I was suspicious of their motivations and intentions after that, so I paid an auto transporter to take my car from Pittsburgh to Duncannon because I trust the team at Maguire’s. They discovered there was a big repair needed but quoted less than half of what the dealer in Pittsburgh did and then even worked with corporate Ford to lower my out of pocket expense for this big repair job to just be for the labor. So, Maguire’s service department literally saved me $9,000 by having integrity, being honest and appreciating my business as a customer. I still have a repair bill (all cars need some costly-ish maintenance at some point) but me needing to pay about $2,000 vs the Ford dealer in Pittsburgh that asked me for $11,000 says everything anyone needs to know about the importance of a solid relationship with the dealer you do business with. Maguire’s Ford has absolutely EARNED my business for life. And a special shoutout to Service Advisor Jay but really their whole team at Maguire’s is amazing.

RE: Collision center. 3 -5 time frame to replace a rear bumper took 8+ days. We had to call as the body shop never contacted us regarding the delay. They said an ordered part was wrong, but didn't know until 6 days after drop off. In person visit yielded no further explanation. Will NEVER use this collision center again. A simple courtesy call regarding the problem would have been much appreciated, but apparently there is no concern for customer service with Ciocca

We had bought our F150 back in 2021 at Plaza Ford. At that time they were terrific and Ford X Plan purchase capped any “ not required by law” doc fees at $150 or less. Originally we were going to purchase our Florida car in Florida because it was easier and less stressful (we live in Florida 6 months and MD 6 months) . My buddy who is a Plaza Ford fan said “ oh buy from these guys instead, they’ll do so much more for you than a Florida dealer “ Fast forward to the deal: they were very rigid as to the dealer doc fees. On the contract it states “ not required by law” but try and get out of paying it…it’s an entitlement that MD allows them to charge. It’s actually an optional dealer fee sort of like a tip. They could charge $0 or $800 allowed by MD. It gets taxed so it’s additional profit for them not a requirement. When I dared to get this dealer charge discounted it was like I was being unreasonable ( in 3 past deals I simply asked for a discount $799 in my case off the bottom line). ** Don’t bother with Plaza Ford, something has changed in the past few years and writing the owner who did not respond, tells me lots-can’t be bothered with me. I was ready to be a loyal Plaza Ford customer. I was talked into buying from them. We drove many miles out our way to buy at this dealer. In hindsight, all the fees and add-ons made this deal costly. Truth is that there’s nothing special about them over any other Ford dealership. It’s a pity because my last experience with Plaza was better. ** a document fee is an arbitrary fee that some dealers charge. In California they are capped at $95 not $799 so—it’s a a profit center for them. Don’t make my mistake, early on ask for no doc fee or a corresponding discount on the bottom line to match that fee. This can be done and I have on 3 car deals successfully. It’s too late for me at Plaza Ford but not you. Be prepared to walk if they tell you “ everyone pays this” .
