After a disappointing and costly experience with my previous 2025 Toyota Corolla Cross and a local dealer/Toyota Corporate (due to manufacturer defect), I was looking for a fresh start with another car maker. My journey with Safford Brown Subaru in Manassas started with some frustration—I drove an hour from DC for a vehicle I was told was available, only to find it wasn't there when I arrived. However, the way the team handled that initial setback is exactly why they deserve five stars. Instead of the typical "bait-and-switch" feeling, Habby (Sales) and Kayla (Manager) were incredibly professional and transparent. They worked hard to make things right, ensuring the rest of the process was smooth, low-pressure, and respectful of my time. The team truly listened to my needs and worked with impressive efficiency to locate a vehicle with my color and options preferences. They also prioritized my vehicle for a service fix to address a recent safety recall. I also appreciated their transparency regarding their 1.5% credit card fee; being able to put the entire car purchase on my AmEx for the rewards was a huge plus, and they were upfront about the cost from the start. Since I am coming from a difficult mechanical situation with my previous new car, I will be keeping a close eye on how this new hybrid in the Crosstrek line performs. I will provide an update to this review in 3-6 months to share how the vehicle is holding up. For now, if you want a team that values professionalism and honest pricing, ask for Habby and Kayla!

The next morning, I got a call from Said Hashemi, and right away, he made the process feel effortless. He had already pulled the car out for me and even recorded a full video tour, walking me through every detail like he was right there with me. Since I live two hours away, he promised to be my eyes and ears, making sure everything was right. That level of care really stood out, and honestly, the car looked even better than I expected. That day was crazy busy for me, but Said was on top of everything—answering my questions, checking on my concerns, and keeping me updated. The second I wrapped up a client, he had my answers ready, which made the back-and-forth super easy. By midday, I knew this was the car for me, and even though I was crunched for time, he told me to come pick it up and assured me we'd get everything handled quickly. When I arrived, I took the car for a drive, and wow—it was even better on the road than it looked in the video. But I only had three hours before I had to be back in Baltimore, and time was tight. This is where Said and Mohammad in finance really stepped up. My main concern was my monthly payment, and Mohammad worked with me until we found something that made sense for my budget. And then—something I’ve never experienced at a dealership—Mohammad promised to have me out in 30 minutes, and guess what? He did it! In less than an hour, I was on my way home with my dream car, no stress, no hassle. The whole process was smooth, quick, and honestly enjoyable. I can’t say enough good things about Said—he went out of his way to make sure I had everything I needed, and because of that, I’ll be coming back to work with him for my next car. Thank Guys!

We wanted a very specific car that Audi Bethesda had on hand. An 2025 Audi SQ5. We found it via Cars.com and contacted Jimmy to check it out. We live in Cleveland, OH, so had to do all our due diligence remotely. We were able to get additional details on the car, including a great walk-around video Jimmy did for us, to help explain what particular options we on the car. The car was exactly what we were looking for, and we were able to come to a fair agreement on price. We drove down to Bethesda a week later and picked it up. Jimmy was great throughout the whole process.

Jared Bowman was amazing to work with. Great communication and very upfront about the cars I was looking at and what to expect. I came into the dealership several times while shopping around, and Jared went above an beyond and was easily the best salesman I've worked with (including from other Mazda dealerships in the same ownership group.) The only ding on the experience is on the back of house operation. I went out of town and told the dealership I would have to receive ownership the car on the Friday after New Years. I was called by one of the managers and was told the car was ready to be picked up after the porters/service center had a whole week to prep the car and get the state inspections/emissions/CPO done. I came in to pick it up and all the sales and dealership stickers + adhesive was still all over the car and windows, empty gas tank, and the car was covered in bird crap as it was parked under trees after it went through the inspections. Needless to say, Jared and I were both quite upset. Jared made it right by jumping the car to the front of the line and got the car filled up, cleaned, and ready for me in under 30 minutes. I would still recommend this dealership. Was by far the least stressful experience I've had car buying.
