I called to walk in on a Sunday and the receptionist assured me if I made it in by 1:30pm I would be accommodated. I arrived at 1pm and was advised I would be unable to get service because there were only two maintenance workers. However, I returned later in week in the afternoon and was able to receive maintenance service. The service was good however the receptionist communication was lacking.

We drove 3 hours to look at an SUV that we found online. Within a few minutes of being on the lot looking around, Neil Sylverston greeted us in a friendly manner. Never once was he pushy or overbearing. He answered all questions we had, and offered a quick test drive so that we were sure of the vehicle we were looking at. He was very straight forward throughout our visit. He never overstepped or tried to push us into anything we were not interested in. The buying process took a few hours but was laid back and comfortable. The dealership and lounge was very clean and welcoming. Everyone was courteous and friendly. Definitely in the top two buying experiences we have ever had. I highly recommend Lexus of Jacksonville and suggest you start your visit off by asking for Neil. A top notch guy that deserves your business, and won’t rush or pressure you.

Dropped off car for recall service and for repair of the drivers side mirror that was not setting correctly. In meeting with service advisor, I was told that the price for the mirror motor was over $900.00 and that was the issue without even looking at the mirror and how it was malfunctioning. I pointed out that Germain Lexus in Naples actually diagnosed the problem when I had the GX460 in for a service when I was visiting Naples. Germain gave me the part number and price so that I could have West Kendall Lexus repair once the part was ordered. The service "advisor" again did not look at it and then said that the part number was for the glass, which it was not and which I verified myself by on-line review of Lexus Parts. The $900 + price is even more than an entirely new mirror, not to mention whatever labor they intended to jack-up. Will just wait for my next visit to Naples and have Germain Lexus install/repair for less than $200.00. Just reinforces my beliefs on how they can build their gaudy dealership through gouging service customers.

This was a good experience until we went to register the vehicle. We were charged additional fees by our state which were already paid at the time of the transaction to Lexus of Winter Park (LWP). LWP only covered a portion of the required fees even though we paid them significantly more than the actual state fees. ($1181.19 vs $602.29) LWP only covered $525.82 leaving us with a balance to the state of $76.47. The difference of the $1181.19 we paid to LWP and the $525.82 they paid the state leaves a balance of $655.37. Where did this money go?
The difference in the two totals summing more than $650 is no where to be seen. This leaves us with the only conclusion that LWP stole from us as customers. We did contact them via phone and email and they stated they’d look into the matter. That was over two weeks ago, now almost three weeks, with no follow up or resolution. I would avoid doing business with them based on our experience.

I hate to write this review because the actual sales process was amazing - Maria Velasquez & Giovanny Tapia in finance were awesome, but the delivery & after sale is where they completely dropped the ball.
Full disclosure: I'm in the car business myself, was an Elite of Lexus member for both sales & finance while working for Penske Lexus in San Diego, a former sales trainer for Joe Verde & currently work at a 2-time North American Cadillac Dealer of the Year in Chicagoland. Had the vehicle shipped, but put a little too much trust in the certification & didn't have it inspected beforehand... so the money I had to spend on a clay buffing & airbrushing to get all the scratches & paint chips out are on me...
But delivering a car where the tire pressure monitors are lit up like xmas & the interior so disgusting - every panel actually sticky - that it looked like someone held a daycare snack time in it should be an absolute embarrassment to any respectable dealership and/or salesperson.
To add insult to injury the only contact I've received since I got the vehicle wasn't to explain the certified features & benefits o follow up on the sale.. .just a generic email fishing for a good review. Seriously?
