There I met Dario Dziamalek who spent time to understand my driving needs and find me the exact car that fit my needs. Very different than what I had expected and I love my purchase. I was in and out of the dealership within 2.5 hours, from start to finish. Dario was informative and pleasant and just an overall great guy to do business with. I purchased my RX350 at Lexus of Melbourne and I have had a great experience in dealing with this dealership. The service center has been excellent, my service consultant, John Lohne, has been terrific and everyone there has been very pleasant. The service waiting area is very comfortable, the complimentary snacks and drinks are very good and the ability to return for complimentary car washes has been great. Can't say enough good things about this dealership and the people they employ.

Since 2003 my wife and I have bought (3) Lexus' and Leased (1) Lexus from Scanlon Lexus of Fort Myers. The last Lexus bought was a 2017 Lexus NX200t. Young lady (unknown name) gave us the orientation on the inside of the vehicle but never told us that when vehicle is put in park, "electronic" parking brake at rear wheels is activated so first time we went to tow in behind our RV on a "trailer dolly" with the front "drive wheels" off the ground as we had done with our previously owned RX 350's with no problems at all, the (2) rear tires blew out as we were leaving the RV resort we live in. So that we could get back on the road for our summer trip, we bought two new tires, had them mounted and balanced and installed to the tune of $300+ dollars. We then put the car in Neutral and went on our way. When we got to our first destination late that afternoon we found the battery was dead probably because of all the differant computers in the car running in the background. Next segment of our summer trip was to jump start the car with a portable jump starter, put the car in Neutral and unhook the negative battery cable. This procedure had to be done throughout our summer trip until returning to FL in the fall. Soon after we returned, I called my service writer, Dan Hoffman, telling him about blowing the rear tires and looking for reimbursement for same. Talking down to me he told me, "you are not supposed to tow ANY Lexus" even with me telling him I had towed previously owned RX 350's he just blew me off saying he had a customer standing in front of him and hung up on me. I then left a message for Bill Smith, Sales Manager as it was his day off. Smith called me back the next day all filled with shxxs and giggles and asked what he could do for me. I relayed to him my story as I had done to Hoffman and short of "going off on me" he too talked down to me saying "well, why did you wait so long to call us"? I replied, "because I was on vacation". He then said he would look into it and call be back HE NEVER DID! I then wrote a letter to Jay Scanlon and a letter to the VP of Customer Service in Coronado, CA telling of my unfortunate experience, how I was treated by Hoffman and Smith at Scanlon Lexus after 14 years of customer loyalty to them and looking for reimbursement for the two tires I had to replace because because the "young lady" who gave me the orientation of the inside of the vehicle, like Hoffman, KNEW NOTHING ABOUT THE CARS THEY SELL! . Jay Scanlon never got back to me at all (great customer service, huh?) and someone from Lexus Corporate called and told me they were NOT going to reimburse me. So after 14 years of customer loyalty, not only to Scanlon Lexus and Lexus, Inc. I went and bought a Jeep. So if you are into a high pressure sales pitch and LOUSY CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM THE SERVICE WRITER TO LEXUS, INC., by all means buy a Lexus. The dealership nor Lexus, Inc. does NOT stand behind their vehicles......so much for spending over $150K dollars on Lexus' over a 14 year period! Never again!

A NIGHTMARE - Tgabriel
I recently purchased a used 2008 Lexus LS 460. I purchased my vehicle in Texas and I live in Florida. This experience with Lexus has been a complete NIGHTMARE! Now we all know once you purchase a car from the Dealership Its all shiny and pretty. I’ve noticed that the material on the inside of all 4 doors are literally MELTING. It looks HORIABLE!!!!! I tried to have it professionally detailed and it still looks BAD not to mention its STICKY to the touch. If that’s not the worse, it gets worse than that … I went to go to work and my vehicle would not START!??? I tried to get a jump, thinking it was the battery, or the starter. Nothing Worked! I got my vehicle towed to The Lexus of Clearwater Dealership…. Thinking they can help… (WRONG). I felt like all the DEALER care about is MONEY…MONEY…MONEY (How DEEP are your POCKETS!!!! I’m a SINGLE parent, my funds are accounted for. Lexus advised me that I would need to get a diagnostic test done first on the vehicle so they can see what is wrong with it, which is $100.00. Then Lexus advised me that my Fuel Pressure Sensor has went out, and need to be replaced by ME and the cost of that will be 1500.00. They didn’t mention Any RECALLs or Anything ELSE. I had to do my homework. When I looked up RECALLS for Lexus 2008 LS 460 it stated there’s a recall on the Fuel System, Gasoline, delivery Hoses, Lines, Piping and Fittings. So I called the Dealer back, and they advised that according to my VIN number my vehicle was already repaired for the recall. So I would be responsible for 1500.00 bill, I then asked to speak with someone at Corporate, So the Lexus Rep passed the buck and gave me Corp. number. I then called and made a complaint and was advised someone will call me back in 2 days. Still not having a LOANER vehicle and No source of transportation. I finally spoke with a CASE Manager at Corporate and was advised that he will look into the matter and he will call me back in another 2 days. Meanwhile I’ve been without a Vehicle for an entire week. Yet still there is no guarantee on if my vehicle would be covered under the Recall. So long story short. … I thought very highly of LEXUS and now with my material MELTING and Fuel issue’s this has been a REAL LIFE NIGHTMARE. To anyone out there reading this …Please think twice before purchasing an LEXUS, I’m being RIPPED OFF! If a Recall part went bad again, Lexus should cover that with out question.
