I had a wonderful experience today when I brought my Lexus RX 350 in for routine maintenance. Susan, my Service Consultant, explained everything that would be done to my car and then asked if I wanted the vehicle washed before encouraging me to have a hot breakfast in the cafe. Donna, the Receptionist, welcomed me with a big smile and asked if there was anything she could do for me while I was there. And Elizabeth, a Sales Consultant, explained the features of the new RX models. All-in-all I had an enjoyable time this morning. DO NOT BUY AT LEXUS OF WEST KENDALL!
Purchased a brand new Lexus UX 200 F Sport on October 22. During the test drive all was OK.
October 23 I noticed that the steering wheel was not centered. Took the car back and they fixed the issue.
October 24 I drove the car on the highway and the car was vibrating when driving at any speed over 40MPH
October 24 Took the car back to the dealer and service department claimed all was OK. I did not accept that answer and I called the Sales Manager and he asked Service to do a balance on all 4 wheels
October 24 Picked up the car after the balance and issue was still there
October 24 I drove back to the dealer and complained again since the car is brand new and should not be vibrating. Dealer asked to wait bercasue they were going to get approval from Lexus to replace the tires because issue was that tires have flat spots from being parked without moving for too long.
October 26 I called Lexus corporate and asked for help, seems like the dealer did not need any approval for anything. They were just giving me the round around because they did not want to replace the tires since it was going to cost them money
October 26 Lexus spoke to the dealer and they agreed to replace the tires. I dropped the car that day and when I went to pick it up on the 27 the car had a suspension noise. I dropped the car AGAIN at the dealer! NEW CAR REMEMBER!
October 27 Went into the main building and asked to speak with General Manager I was told to come by the office at 12PM . I arrived at 12PM and he kept me waiting for 1 hour and 30 minutes just to speak! Great customer service if you ask me.
I finally spoke to him and explained everything that was happening. He then called the Service Manager to get his side of the story. The service manager DID NOT know he was on speaker and basically admitted he knew the tires were bad and yet did not replaced them, then also admitted that they finally replaced the tires but the tires they used are from another car ( new car ) that was also seating at the garage for almost a year. Therefore the replacement tires ALSO have flat spots.
I demanded the dealer to cancel the sale and refund my money. General manager asked me to give him a day so he could get that done for me. Well it has been a day and yet he has not called me.
As of today October 29 I have a new Lexus with bad tires on it because Lexus of West Kendall was too cheap to properly replace the tires. A brand new car with only 6 days of use!

Deceptive and rude. I spoke to a saleswoman who explained a special was $0 down. I asked three times - does this mean zero down? No taxes? No fees? She assured me yes, and to come in that evening. She texted me so I can communicate directly. When I arrived, this saleswoman didn't exist. Nowhere to be seen. Someone else was texting me, and funnily enough, the $0 down deal didn't exist any longer. This was a clear tactic to get me in the building. I pointed the manager to his website, and he explained, "my marketing is my prerogative" - I was blown away with that response, and simply walked out. An hour of my life wasted by deceptive snakes. Go to one of the other Lexus dealers in town.

BEWARE when your completing your paperwork in the finance office. The negotiated monthly lease transaction went smoothly. When I was in the finance office the business manager presented different options available, such as, extended warranty and service plan options. I declined the extended warranty but opted for the service plan which involved two additional services beside the 5K and 10K complementary services. I leased the car in June and was reviewing my paperwork at the request for. my accountant and realized that I did purchase an extended warranty to the cost of $1124.00. I remember distinctly telling the Finance Manger that I didn’t want or see the need for a extended vehicle protection plan on a lease vehicle that I would probably turn in in 36 months because the car would still be under warranty. I went back to Clearwater Lexus 9/26 to cancel the warranty. I felt the finance director, Joshua Foster was dismissive, patronizing and border line rude. He did cancel the policy but the prorated amount of the policy is then applied to reduce the cars residual amount. If I turn the car in at the end of the lease I’m still out the $1124.00. So don’t get caught up in the excitement of getting a new car and forgot your good business sense.

This place is the worst Lexus dealership I have ever experienced. My family and I have owned many Lexus vehicles and equal history with Lexus dealership maintenance. This one is beyond belief the most unprofessional I have dealt with. First time here at this location today and just in for an oil change. Of course Scott Banta(Service Consultant) gives a list of recommendations for maintenance, many of which may not be entirely necessary but normal. What was weird at first, is that he states and shows he has pulled my entire maintenance record and has consulted his mechanic but starts asking me questions about the vehicle. These questions are easily answered by the model and history of the car. I cant figure why he would ask but for only to test my knowledge of my own car. This makes me skeptical of the record of my vehicle being actually available and reviewed. I tell Scott that I will pass on the recommendations for now after I confirm this work has not been done recently. After my oil change I review the experience with Scott and inform I will set an appointment after I look at the vehicle history. Plus I wanted to see if the coolant was actually contaminated, air filter was actually dirty and if the fuel needed to be cleaned. I do like to make sure this is not a salesman trying to take advantage of me. I get home and for some reason just think... open the hood and check.. this visit was uncomfortable. I pop the hood and find the covers under the hood are not secured with the retaining pins and a few but not all pins are stashed on the car. THIS IS JUST RIDICULOUS!! So because I didn't want to pay for a xxxx ton more stuff without checking, they decide to not even check the vehicle if it was put back together!!! xxx!! Just closed the hood and get this car out!! THANKS A TON LEXUS OF TAMPA BAY!! Good show of care and bring confidence to a on the fence first time customer. Okay okay hold on a sec... maybe I am just getting bent for no real reason. I'll just call and give my complaint to someone there. I tell myself 'Calm down Michael' and I call. I call and get referred to Mike, who doesn't answer and I request again to the operator someone and they have Mike call me. Mike calls me and immediately on the call He is dismissive about the cover not being secured and the loose pins being his mechanic from the oil change, no apology and just getting a feeling of Mike DON'T GIVE A DAM. It took a good amount of dialogue just to get him to offer to replace missing pins and offer me back in to have it done.... then a good deal more to at least pay for the gas.. THIS IS JUST TOO MUCH EFFORT FOR OVER PRICE MAINTENANCE AND xxxx SERVICE!! I truly advise to leave this place off your list and find another dealership or someone else. You will get no help. It is too bad for me because this is a close dealership and I want my vehicle to be looked after the same it has for the last 7 years. Thanks Mike and Jason and the lazy mechanic for treating me like I was unnecessary, unimportant, and quite disposable.
