Curt came out while we were looking at an Escalade, was just friendly and nice. Was not pushy which everyone dislikes, and just gave us the information we needed. While taking a test drive, he mentioned that he had 2 dogs. The car was pretty much sold right then. I knew he was kind person, for taking in 2 dogs and we loved the vehicle. So we pleased both with the car and with Curt. I will buy another car from him, when the time comes.

I saw a truck that they posted on their website for sale. I drove by to just take a look at it with no intentions on buying. I was greeted by Cliff who asked me if I was looking for anything in particular. I told him about the truck I saw and he showed it to me. He explained the previous owners, and how well taken care of it was. I told him I was looking for a pay off of my old truck and I didn't want to talk numbers until I knew what my trade in was. To my surprise not expecting to get my truck paid off Cliff and Butch came back and told me because it was the end of the month they would bump my trade.in value up by 1400$. Leading to the pay off of my truck.. to my surprise I was not even expecting that, as I stated before I was just wanted to look at numbers then with such a great deal I ended up buying a new used truck. I never would have imagined i could have got such a good deal on the truck I have always wanted. But Cliff and Butch made it happen. They were extremely helpful, and I felt after the car buying process I made new friends not someone I just bought a truck from. Cliff was extremely nice and so was Butch finding the best payments for me. Never once did I ever feel pressured. I would reccomoned anyone to go see Cliff and Butch. When I did purchase the truck I mentioned to Cliff about how it was missing the spare tire. He mentioned he was going to try and figure one out for me. To my surprise a.week later I got a call from Cliff saying he tracked down the older owner of the truck and got the spare tire for me. For me that is legendary and incredible customer service. I would have never expected such great customer service.

I have been a customer for several years and bought the car I am driving today from them! Over the last couple of years the staff & especially the service department members have maintained my vehicle, loaned me a car free of charge for over a week ( due to a repair taking longer than expected) & always ask before doing any additional repairs (providing the exact amount I will be charged, vacume out my car, let me take home a car to "try it out over night". During my last visit for an oil change, what at first was a normal afternoon turned very stressful quickly! After my oil changed I stopped in at Cracker Barrel in Mattoon for lunch with my 6 month old daughter, as I was getting ready to put her in the car the diaper bag bumped the lock on the door, not realizing it at the time ( now my car was locked, my phone, wallet, her diapers, wipes, and bottles were all now locked inside with my keys sitting on the seat) As you might expect, my heart sank from panic that was setting in, here I was alone, with everyone I know at work, not able to help me! Without truly knowing wether they could or would be able to help me get my car open. I called the dealership & immediately they sent someone out to save me from what could have been a very bad situation. May I add again, charging me nothing! I can't express my graditude the staff for their graciousness & their professionalism!

When I began looking for a new truck I asked around to see what others thoughts were on the dealerships in the area and one recomendation was Piehl motors in Princeton. I set up an appointment with Jacob Love. Jacob went above and beyond for me and I was very impressed. I have went with other dealerships in the past but Jacob love and Everyone I talked to at Piehl blew them away. They are honest and go out of their way to make sure you get the best price on the vehicle you want. Finally after getting the correct part from gm the problem is fixed. After everything is said and done I'm sure the dealership did everything they could to speed the process. Auffenberg has a great service manager and service center. I'm also certain if this was their personal vehicle they would understand the frustration of this whole experience. Dealership= A . G M C parts delivery not so much.

We stopped in at Velde GMC because we wanted to check on a Canyon. We’d seen a blue one online at a dealership north of us,but we didn’t want to drive that far. Velde had a red one that we could drive to give us the the “feel” of a midsize truck. I still wasn’t convinced that I wanted to give up our SUV for a pickup. The Acadia kind of sparked my interest. Again, the one that we were most interested in was seen online. We almost leased a 2018 Acadia for a much higher payment than we wanted to pay. Then, just before we made a huge mistake, Steve Yerbic and Kerrie Roos pointed out that there had just been some huge rebates issued on the 2017’s. They did a dealer trade on the unit we wanted and within 2 days, we drove our new Acadia home.
I have to tell you, we weren’t really ready to trade yet. We were just in the “shopping phase”. My husband really wanted a full size pickup until he road in the Acadia. Steve was such a good salesperson to work with. He seemed to have read our body language and it was obvious that he was treating us the way he would have wanted to be treated. I think what impressed me the most was when he realized we didn’t LOVE the Canyon immediately. It was as though he’d known me personally and said “ if you don’t LOVE it don’t buy it”. He is so right! That’s my thoughts on anything I buy, if I don’t love it- I’m never happy with it.
We spent quite a long time at the dealership from the time we first stopped to just look , up until delivery. I have to admit, it wasn’t all spent negotiating the purchase. That was done rather quickly. Most of our time was spent just visiting with Steve. You see, it was very cold & there weren’t many customers as silly as us that were out car shopping, so we were Steve’s only customers for awhile. This might not be important to some customers, but we truly enjoyed chatting and joking with this super funny guy!
