I had an oil change tire rotation done today plus had my tire sensor replaced. With the oil change, they forgot to change the next date for my oil change and did not check the tire pressure on the tires. One tire had 44 pounds of pressure on it, the others had 33 and 34.

I scoured the internet for 2 years to locate the car that I wanted. Kian motors had the car in their inventory. I took a chance and called Layne Elrod at Kian Motors. Right from the onset he treated me as a close friend and not as a salesman. He made sure every question I had was answered to my satisfaction. He was not pushy but wanted to make sure that I got the right car for the right price. The process of buying my car, having it shipped from Texas to Florida, and finalizing the paperwork and payment was very smooth. all because of Layne Elrod. The service was good but a few things to recommend: 1. I scheduled an appointment but when I brought in the service manager was on sick leave. Recommend when this happens a person is assigned to take care of me. I had to call the next day to get update from someone else but they did a good job. 2. When filling the DEF to full, clean up afterwards. There was DEF residue down my truck and I had to clean up. 3. Tire rotation. They didn’t check tire pressure. All 4 tires were out of recommendation. For the front tires I had around 55psi and back I had around 59psi. Should have been 60 front and 65 back. 4. I requested spare tire be rotated in. I was told that would be a $30 charge. That doesn’t make sense because yall have done before at no charge. 5. Recommend a quality check of vehicle when finished with customer at pickup.

Fidel Martínez is a fine salesman. He's patient, emlathetic—and persistent! My only complaint about Kia of Round Rock is that they declined to transfer the specialty plates from our old car to the new one. The result will be a lot of unnecessary paperwork and a long delay while we wait for the DMV to send new plates to the dealer, which I will then have to take to the DMV (or maybe it's the county tax assessor-collector) to swap them for the specialty plates.
