A Truly Exceptional Porsche Experience — Porsche Woodland Hills & Kris Assad
Purchasing my new 992.2 Porsche 911 GT3 Touring from Porsche Woodland Hills was not just a car purchase — it was the realization of a dream years in the making.
My Porsche journey began in 2013, right after finishing a grueling six-year general surgery residency. While driving from New York to Boston to begin fellowship training, I saw a 991.1 911 fly past me on the highway — and that moment changed everything. As soon as I arrived in Boston, I went to a local Porsche dealership and bought my very first brand-new 911 as a way to celebrate one of the hardest accomplishments of my life.
Since then, I’ve become a lifelong Porsche enthusiast. Over the years I’ve purchased more than 20 Porsches, mostly 911s, from many different dealerships across California and beyond. Unfortunately, most experiences were average at best and often lived up to the typical dealership stereotype. Professional, yes — but rarely memorable.
Porsche Woodland Hills is completely different.
This is now my third purchase from them, and I can honestly say they represent everything I always wished a dealership could be. From the thoughtfully designed waiting lounge and unique desert-themed display area, to the gift shop team, service personnel, and overall atmosphere — every aspect feels intentional, welcoming, and deeply aligned with the Porsche spirit.
The leadership at the dealership deserves special recognition as well. The general manager embodies poise, integrity, and quiet confidence — the kind of leadership style I deeply respect both as a customer and as someone who works in a high-pressure profession myself.

From the moment we met in June 2025, we immediately clicked. Kris brings a level of enthusiasm, authenticity, and dedication that simply cannot be faked. It’s obvious he truly loves what he does. He approaches every interaction with honesty, attention to detail, and a genuine desire to create a win-win experience for his clients.
Throughout the build process of my GT3 Touring, Kris spent an extraordinary amount of time walking me through every detail, explaining important nuances, and ensuring I fully understood the decisions involved in configuring and owning a high-performance Porsche. He followed through on every promise and remembered even the smallest details of our conversations. Despite the long drive from San Diego and the notorious traffic, every visit felt worthwhile because of the experience he created.
Delivery day was beyond anything I expected — it genuinely felt like a VIP delivery experience you would imagine in Stuttgart, except it happened right here in Woodland Hills. The level of care, personalization, and celebration made the moment unforgettable.
After years of searching and working with many dealerships, I can say with certainty that Porsche Woodland Hills is my one and only dealership moving forward. They have become my true unicorn in the Porsche world. As long as the current leadership and Kris remain there, this will be the only place I purchase or service my Porsches.
