I had a great buying experience at Naples Acura. My 2015 MDX was in for routine service, so I started browsing at new vehicles. I ended up leasing a new MDX. I worked with Sparky Meador, Norm Johnston and Scott Foster. They were all very professional and helpful in my decision to lease a new vehicle. Because the vehicle was being registered in another state where I am a resident, the process took much longer. Despite the extra time it took to complete the transaction, the entire team was patient and spent hours making the deal work favorably for me. Marianne Sullivan in financing was also patient and helpful during the process to get my credit freeze lifted and the lease terms approved. I recommend the dealership and team I worked with without hesitation. It was the least stressful experience I have ever had purchasing/leasing a new vehicle.

I have had just two experiences at Scanlon Acura with regards the service and both have left me extremely frustrated. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT get your car serviced at Scandal Acura.
My first appointment on October 7, 2020 was to have a host of things completed (broken door handle, backup camera not working, brakes replaced, transmission flush, etc...) and since it had been about a year since the oil had been changed on the car I asked if they could also change the oil - which of course they said they would. Then when I went to pick it up I noticed that the oil life was still at 30% (not reset to 100), so I brought it back and asked if they forgot to reset the oil life. They admitted they forgot to change the oil (even though it was on the service request paperwork).
My second appointment on Dec 3, 2020 was to have the oil changed that they forgot to change on Oct 7. They tried to sell me a $120 B1 service - but I told them that I only needed the oil change. I instructed them not to wash the car (I'm very particular about the car and do not go through automatic car washes). The oil change was completed in about 90 minutes and when I returned to the car, I noticed that it had been washed. Upon further inspection there is paint missing in both the front and rear bumpers because of the automatic car wash that they use.
I will not be going back to Scandal Acura, EVER. And I am making it a personal mission of mine to steer anyone and everyone I can away from the Scandal brand.

I bought a 2011 VW Jetta from Miami Acura on Monday, September 28, 2020. I was informed that the master cylinder needed to be replaced and the service department had me stay overnight in Miami in order to replace the part. I drove the car to Gainesville on Monday, September 28, 2020 and on Wednesday, September 30, 2020, my car's traction light came on, my brake pedal is hard, and the car will not move.
When I called Miami Acura on Thursday, October 1, 2020, I was told by the service department that they are not responsible for the car. I then called again today, October 2, 2020 and was told that the current issue has nothing to do with the master cylinder repair that was performed on Monday, September 28, 2020. I feel slighted and played.

This place is a joke. I went there to run numbers on an RDX lease. I asked them to evaluate my trade and see where we would be at. I had mentioned that I'm still interested to test drive the Lexus NX. After test driving, the salesman told me since I'm still going to Lexus that there would be no point in showing me numbers. He stated if I truly like the Acura that I should come back with numbers from Lexus and they will beat it. Imagine, I walked out of a dealership not having any idea at all--not even a ball park idea of how much the lease would be or even what my appraisal was. Freaking joke. Thanks for wasting both our time.
