Wouldn’t give one star if I could Brian the service advisor took our 07 explorer in for a transmission concern they did a “diag” was told the found concern in a code and quoted a whole unit said they couldn’t drive it and transmission was screaming well it drove before we had it towed there and when dropped off at a different shop it’s still driving just slipping and not screaming was told nothing but lies other shop is actually pulling it apart to diag it and not just pulling a code and saying it needs a whole unit because of age and milage I understand this is the easy way out but slapping a almost $10k quote together and not giving me any kind of break down or proof they actually diag it is wild when I asked Brian what he found he stumbled on his words when I asked if the tech tested the internals servo and solenoids he again stumbled and said he would ask and call me back what do you mean you would ask this is standard procedure for testing and diagnostic for a trans unit complete xx they probaly didn’t even drive it just blew smoke at me and said it will be fixed with a new unit well obviously if it’s new it will be fixed I unfortunately paid there diag fee $250 dollars wich they said they couldn’t even roll into repairs wich most dealers offer these days if you do repairs I will never come back to this dealer nor will I ever suggest anyone bring there vehicle save yourself the headache from half way awnsers and poor diag and not to mention well over fair pricing I’ve called other dealers and were quoted 3-4k less for the same ford reman transmission

There were a lot of nice cars and trucks in the lot Every time I have been here before I thought the lot was boring but today nicer cars and trucks Did not have an appointment for oil change thinking it would be a couple hours wait but not sure but it was less than a hour Things seemed different? i kidding ask the service writer did you get a new manager and was told yes Keep up what you are doing much better than it was Thank you

I have been having ongoing issue with battery in my 2023 - Meblazer1

I have been having ongoing issue with battery in my 2023 ford explorer since beginning of year. Car still under warranty and we also have extended warranty. Car has been back to dealer 4 times for battery not holding charge. They have told me they need to do 1-4 hour test which it has had. Today I had appointment to have new battery installed and when I arrive they told me they need to do the same test again, even though the service advisor told me the battery is only 44% charged and has been as low as 40%. He did say car still under warranty until end of year but that the next battery would cost me over $350. But when I scheduled this appointment the girl told me as long as it was the original battery it would be replaced after looking at my history. They constantly reach to me to come and trade this car in and they will give me a great deal on new one.. No Thanks! will never buy another car from Matthew Currie and will be sharing this experience to others.

If I could give them a negative rating, I would do so. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE on a warranteed item. I called TEN TIMES at least with NO CALL BACKS because they didn't want to do the work~! I spoke initially with Crystal, left THREE messages for her (never called me back), then left TWO messages for Robert, the service manager, and TWO messages for Linda the dealership manager. I finally got through to Crystal once again and she complained because this was the first chance she'd had to sit down (because I asked why she hadn't called back). She then put me on hold and NEVER came back. After 15 minutes, I hung up. I never got angry, I wasn't rude, and this is simply the worst experience I've ever had with a Ford dealership.

I have been bringing my vehicles to Al Packer Ford since I moved to Florida from Long Island in 2019. Between my 2016 Mustang GT and my wife’s 2019 Mustang Bullitt, we have had several services done here over the years. Overall the experience has been consistently solid. My service advisor, Steve Thomas, has always been straightforward and easy to work with. He communicates clearly, explains what the technicians find, and keeps me updated throughout the process. That matters a lot when you are dealing with repairs that can get complicated. Most recently I had an issue where my Mustang would not go into reverse due to a broken aftermarket short shifter. The team confirmed the problem, replaced the shifter assembly with OEM parts, and got the car back to normal operation. Steve kept me informed during the repair and made sure everything was handled properly before pickup. No dealership service is ever cheap, but the work was done correctly and the car shifts perfectly again. The technicians also took care of a reverse light bulb during the visit, which I appreciated. After several years servicing both of our Mustangs here, I continue to come back because the service department has been reliable and professional. If you are bringing a Ford in for service, ask for Steve Thomas.

First strike in January 2026: technicians failed to - nola204

First strike in January 2026: technicians failed to adhere to my Ford service contract. To wit; the manufacturer manual indicates the engine air filter is to be replaced at 30K miles. They did not replace my filter, despite the fact that I specifically mentioned the contractual obligation to the service advisor. I had to drive to a local auto parts store after the parts guy put the filter on their account and I then just replaced it myself. Now…second strike and an even greater display of incompetent service “technicians.” A/C blowing hot air on a 2023 vehicle with 34K miles. Labelle Ford had the vehicle for FOUR HOURS and were incapable of repairing the vehicle. I had to call them after three hours for a status update because they didn’t have the courtesy to provide an update. As I sat at a local VFW waiting for my car, the bartender and a group of five patrons all warned me about the incompetence of this dealership. So, the reputation of this dealership apparently is well known in LaBelle FL. I went to pick up the vehicle and not one reasonable explanation of a possible reason for the failure nor an approximate timeline on how long to repair from service advisor Jason Robles. He just basically said “we can’t fix it unless we keep it for an extended time period, take it somewhere else.” I had to call the Ford Corporation and get assistance finding another dealer and I now cannot get my vehicle even looked at for another week at a dealership 30 miles away in Fort Myers. So, bottom line: STAY AWAY FROM THIS SERVICE DEPT. Seems all they can do is oil changes and tire rotations, no better than Jiffy Lube. Plus, no loaner vehicles? I say again: STAY AWAY FROM THIS SERVICE DEPT!!!
