Usually service is good and they accommodate me knowing I use my car for work. This was now the third time my vehicle has been in the shop for fuel related issues. They were “short staffed” and couldn’t even look at my car for several days and then once they finally did, it was 5 more days to get the part delivered and my car fixed. I requested a loaner or rental car and was told my contract only allowed a rental for the day the car was serviced and no loaners were available leaving me again without a car for 9 days. This is not acceptable!!
It’s not my fault that the service department was short staffed and I was told that they didn’t know I was going to have my car towed in. Well, likewise, I didn’t know my car was going to quit on the side of the road while I was working! That seemed like a pretty ignorant thing to say- you didn’t know I was having my car towed in. Next time, I’ll try to give you a couple days notice when it’s going to stop working. Not Onstar or my Chevy app gave me any notice there was an issue when I hit the message Low Power Mode as I coasted to the side of the road and it shut off on me.
For the most part, service is good, and they try to squeeze me in for oil changes because of my busy schedule and needing my car to work, but this is now the third issue with the fuel system and each time has left me stranded for over a week with no vehicle which is not okay.
