Hi I have a 2015 Kia Sportage when I first bought my car the battery was no good. I bought the car at Kia Buford Mall of Georgia. Today I went in to my mechanic to have an oil change that I do every time when it’s time to change it. My mechanic told me that my battery it’s starting to leak acid. So I took it to Kia and talk to them about it and said the battery should have a warranty. But they told me the battery did not have a warranty because their batteries don’t have warranties on them. So I will never ever buy another Kia again I am disappointed in Kia. And I hope No one else ever goes to Kia do you for the Mall of Georgia. A month ago they had to change my engine because it blew up. But thank God that didn’t cost me anything. But they should’ve took the responsibility and put a good battery in the car. Because the day that I bought the car and that was 2018 in July. I left Kia Mall of Georgia went to the grocery Store and then when I came out the car would not start. So I had to get the car jumped off. I had to go back over to the dealership and they had to put another battery inside my car. So two years later now that battery is leaking acid which it should not be. So it sounds like to me there’s stuff that they put in our cars Is not good equipment.

James Johnson provided the most excellent customer service today when I needed a warranty repair on my 2017 kia soul, and he wore a face mask indoors. Sadly, I can't say the same for his coworkers. One did not wear a mask at all, another wore it under his nose, one had a face shield which does not block aerosolized droplets at all (covid can spread through breath droplets, y'all!)... The guy with a face shield completely ignored my concerns when I asked him to wear a mask. He just walked away and said he would get my service advisor. Thank goodness my service advisor happened to be James... I only go to the dealership for a repair if it's under warranty. James helped make it a great experience, but I'll never go back to this dealer to pay for any repair service. *I live in Decatur where masks are mandated, but there is no mask mandate in Chamblee at this time.

This is an update.
I was told my vehicle would be done in four hours but wound up waiting 11. What's more I provided a kit I bought since I was planning to do the job myself and I had on hand all the belts and parts recommended. The kit was in my van and I told the service personnel that the kit was there so they would use it.
My kit was not in my vehicle when I received it but upon inspection the belts that I can see are not new. It makes me wonder if they used any of the other parts, except, perhaps, the timing belt. I don't believe the water pump was replace because there is no sign that the liquid in the radiator was changed or touched in any way.
These people are not honest and I will see if I can place a complain in the Better Business Bureau. I need to find out if they did not do as was agreed since I want to make sure that if anything happens to my vehicle, they are responsible.

Went to Hutchinson Kia in Macon with the mailed out scratch off flyer, that stated I won the$7500 Visa card. Arrived, only to be hounded to buy a car asked about my prize, needless to say, I never received the Visa card. They are scammers.

I would recommend Evans Kia to anyone in the market for a new or used Kia. Hiram Smith was a pleasure to work with. His compassion through the whole process was so heart felt. We never felt rushed to make a decision that we weren't 100% comfortable with. From the test drive to showing me how to sync my phone and how all of the accessories worked Hiram was so understanding and treated us more like family. Jim Bignell in finance was very helpful as well regarding the extended warranty. Overall I would say this was the best car buying experience I have ever encountered and I would recommend that anyone in the market check out Kia of Evans and ask for Hiram.

I looked at the reviews and most of the bad ones focus on the service dept. This is another failure in that area. Maybe it is time to replace the people working in that area!
Make sure you verify everything they said they reported they did to carfax. My carfax stated Kia Carland did complete inspection on vehicle as well as replaced the engine air filter and the cabin filter. My wife and I loved the used 2015 Sonata we bought from them, after we got home with it I checked the engine and cabin filter and you could tell they were full of dirt and trash. I then took the car to my local Hyundai dealership and found out it had a busted cv axle. My dealership was not sure they would be able to cover it under warranty since it was just the boot that was busted, so it could cost up to $700. I notified Kia Carland and they told me they would only reimburse me what it would cost them to repair. Fortunately, my dealership(Autonation Hyundai of Columbus) was able to get the cv axle replaced under warranty so I no longer have to deal with Kia Carland.
