I had a pleasure to meet Mike on a busy Saturday. I came to Subaru to test drive a Crosstrek after my car was totaled in an accident. Mike was so nice and understanding and listened to my story and I didn't feel any pressure to buy a car that day. I actually wanted to test drive few other cars and he politely advised be to do so and to come back on Monday to take another look at Subaru cars.
I returned happily the following Monday to Subaru after checking 5 other dealers because Mike was the NICEST salesman out there! He let me take the car for another drive and without any pressure listened to my opinion and gave me great feedback and I ended up buying a Crosstrek that night! Mike even stayed after hours to assist me with many additional questions and to go over all the paperwork.
I would highly recommend Mike Price to anyone who needs a friendly, patient and a very polite salesman.

We contacted Grand Subaru with a build number on an Outback we had built online, asking for the best cash sales price. Nealy Anderson replied (on a Sunday night, no less!) with a quote. We called her, put down our $500 deposit, and went ahead with the deal. At closing, there were no questions or haggling on the price or the car: We got the exact car we wanted at the price that Nealy quoted us.
This is the way car buying should be. Up front and honest.

The service was great but the facility wasnt. Not enough space to wait. People were standing and couldnt sit. Only one bathroom, which was occupied because people brought their kids there while waiting. Wanted to see Subaru products but couldnt because was in a Maza buillding. Wish the had another facility.

We have a 2011 Subaru Outback our very first Subaru. We want to only use Subaru service as long as we own the car, at our age time doesn't mean a lot anymore, but we use Marion Subaru service at present and it is the greatest. The personnel are super in checking us in and out as well as notifying us of any maintenance that needs to be done. We plan on continuing to go there even though we are about an hour and a half away. Horrible place to go for a vehicle. This is my first time writing a review but I don’t want people going through what I did. Have been having problems with my car since I got it 8 months ago.The people that work here DON’T care about you. They always have new people working which is a red flag. They Always have an attitude.Had a flat tire and had to call five times and no one ever called me back. Left voicemails and kept getting the run around asking about my warranty.Started calling them when they opened at 9am and they ignored me and no one called me the entire day. I will drive to Peoria for any future work. I have been told from other car care centers that they hear these reviews about this establishment all the time. They don’t care about their customers it’s disgusting.

Unfortunately - even though we love the Subaru car we have, we have had horrible experience dealing with the service team here.
Phone responses and conversations are consistently rude, service is poor and extremely overpriced. Willingness to fix known Subaru issues even under warranty is very, very low.
Here are some of our experiences to date:
1. Oil consumption issue. Our car was needing 1.5-2.5 quarts of oil added every single oil change. At first they tried to tell us this was normal (even though I complained about it every oil change). After Subaru released a recall/test for oil consumption, they told us that our car had failed the consumption test. Insane. After forcing them to run the test again - they admitted finally that the car was consuming more oil. They refused to refund me the cost of the oil even though we had documentation and receipts.
2. AT/Transmission Oil issue. When driven for 2 hours plus our vehicle regularly lights up with AT/Oil light. After 3 visits to the shop we are no further than the first. The next suggested alternative is that the shop takes the car and drives it for 2 hours until the light comes on to read the code. It has been an extremely frustrating experience.
3. Oil change regularity. Each time I take my car in for service a particular employee would try to badger me into getting an oil change after 5k miles (even though Subaru as a manufacturer recommends 7500).
4. Depending on the employee you get when you phone their service desk you can have a very undesirable/rude experience.
5. Phone surveys - each time we've visited their service center we've been hit by a phone survey almost immediately after. Each time we've indicated that we were not satisfied and would like a return call. We have never received a call.

Joe McAvoy quote a lease offer over email, and when we actually visited after driving 40 miles, he refused to honour the offer. When we argued that the number he has put in email is way different from the one he now says, he suddenly became agitated. He aggressively rose from his chair and yelled at my friend, who is a Professor, asking him to leave the office. We had to then call his manager, to pacify the situation. Although the manager was courteous, even he did not honour the price Joe quoted on email.
Napleton Subaru lost me for life. The lease they could do is showing some basic courtesy, which one expects as a customer.

Poor service and no communication - dgardin3
I had an appointment at I want to say 5pm on a Tuesday (the same week as the 4th of July). I arrived at around 4:50pm and waited in the service bay while the only customer service that was there made small talk with another customer, completely ignoring me. I waited for 10 or 15 minutes before another person came and even acknowledged that I was even there. I came in for an oil change and tire rotation as well as servicing the factory recall on my cars stereo. I was told my car would be ready to pick up that night. an hour and a half goes by and I hear nothing so I call and get sent straight to voicemail, I assumed they were busy and left it. About 35 minutes after that my girlfriend calls and gets the same thing, and then she called the sales department and found out that the service people had left for the day and never notified me even though they had emailed me, texted me and called me that same day to remind me of the appointment. The sales department found that my car was ready for me to pick up and said that they could do the billing even though the service department was gone. We get there and the sales guys decide that was the proper time to try and train a new person how to do this billing meaning that it took even more time. They did appologize and gave me a card with the service bay managers info to contact him. As I am driving home I hear my brakes squeeling badly, which wasn't happening before the service appointment and shouldn't be happening as my 2018 impreza only has 14,000 miles on it. We emailed the manager explaining all of our issues including the fact that had I not gotten my car on tuesday I would have missed work wednesday which would have disqualified me for holiday pay on thursday and my work closed down on friday due to low attendence, so I would have missed 3 full days of pay because of their poor communication. We emailed him about the brakes squeeling and asked nicely if he would make an appointment to check if they damaged my rotors or knicked my brake pads. We have not been responded to.
