I came to Grand Subaru having visited couple of... - BharatS
I came to Grand Subaru having visited couple of dealerships already. Right through the door the staff was friendly and Matt did an awesome job on day one itself. I was tied between the forester and outback, Matt encouraged me to try both to get a feel for both the cars (I even ended up test driving the ascent - even though that wasn't what I was looking for). Eventually I decided on the forester but the sports trim wasn't available at the showroom and was goin to arrive in a few days, I looked around at other dealerships and found a model that I liked, when I approached Matt that I was getting the car early and at a better rate with the other dealership, Matt was able to price match the offer and even got the car transferred over without any additional cost. Even on the day of the purchase he wasn't like typical car salesperson you usually hear about, he did offer me the service package but wasn't pushy at all and honored my decision (I didn't take the deal).
Overall, it was a much more pleasurable purchase than I had anticipated. Would very likely visit the place in the future.

Great experience buying from Jake Lee at Gary Lang GMC.... - cherylarena2010
Great experience buying from Jake Lee at Gary Lang GMC. From the moment I stepped into the dealer until the moment I left everybody was so helpful. Jake was very honest and upfront about pricing, knowledgeable about the vehicles features, and worked hard to find me the perfect truck. I would highly recommend working with him.

We have always been treated very well and with great courtesy, from the sales dept.,the service dept., and the receptionists answering the phones. When I came in for the routine maintenance, I had a question about a problem with the passenger side rear door and the receiving person was able to resolve it easily and explained it to me with no difficulty.

My Ascent received it’s 12,000 mile service. Everyone at Marion Subaru is friendly and professional. Especially during this unsettling pandemic time, it was nice to know that the car had been cleaned and the window left open for ventilation. (Inside) I don’t do business where people disregard safety protocols. Highly recommend Marion Subaru. I’m an ex Ford owner. Loved my Ford products. Subaru more.

Found a used Kia online and went to this dealership to check it out. Was greeted by Devin. He located the vehicle I was interested in, and we went on a test drive. He let me check the vehicle out good after the drive, and he even helped point out things the dealership had done to improve the vehicle. Devin answered all my questions, was honest and helpful. I'm still in the market, may need a little time to buy, but I will certainly be back here and hope I can buy a car from Devin. I would highly recommend him.

Our 2021 Crosstrek is the fourth Subaru we have leased from Evanston Subaru and we couldn't be happier with either the car or the dealer. The service provided to us has always been excellent, especially that of our sales consultant, Lou P. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, that Evanston Subaru is the best dealership we have ever dealt with.

Agonizing sales process / poor customer service afterwards - nwcarlson.wiu
I would highly recommend steering clear. The sales process will take forever - which I feel is mostly by design to get you to lose your patience and agree to additional offerings. In addition to a very uncomfortable sales process, upon taking delivery of the vehicle, I noticed the vehicle was missing floormats. This was conveniently hidden by the paper detailing mats on the floor. Upon this discovery, my sales person didn't really seem concerned about it. It was obvious to anyone with a pulse that I was disappointed. A few days later, I got an email from said sales person asking for referrals. I replied saying the experience was not good and I would certainly not be sending any referrals. A day later I got a phone call from a sales manager that said he would order floor mats for me. By this time, I had already bought floormats. I tried to call this sales manager back 4 separate times to see if he could just provide mud flaps since I bought floor mats. I then get an email saying the floormats came in. I attempted to call the dealership back and was unable to get in touch with either rep. I then got a voicemail form the salesperson saying that they would provide the floormats due to my long wait but would not consider anything else. I researched the price and what I was asking for is the exact same value ($100). Given that the dealership made at least $6000 of my sale, you would think they would be a little motivated to not leave a completely bad taste in my mouth. I understand they are there to make money but in no way do they really care about the customer actually being treated right.

I'm 69 years old, having experienced numerous Service Centers, some are good some are bad, few are excellent. Napleton's Schaumburg Subaru Service Center is excellent. Recently I broke my side view mirror, took it to Napelton's to have Service Manager Keith Meyer look at it and give me an estimate to repair. It was reasonable and I scheduled the service repair. The parts arrived in 3 days, the repair was scheduled at a convent day and time for me, was completed in one hour and the quality of work was outstanding. Best of all the cost of the repair was $100 less than quoted. Keith Meyer is one of the best Service Managers in the business. He is personable, courteous, honest, knowledgable and professional. I highly recommend Napleton's Schaumburg Subaru Service Center for all your Subaru's Sevice needs.

Drove from outta town to check out the store and we ended up working with Brandes he was amazing to work with, love the store!
Poor, expensive, rude service. - frankbalboni
Unfortunately - even though we love the Subaru car we have, we have had horrible experience dealing with the service team here.
Phone responses and conversations are consistently rude, service is poor and extremely overpriced. Willingness to fix known Subaru issues even under warranty is very, very low.
Here are some of our experiences to date:
1. Oil consumption issue. Our car was needing 1.5-2.5 quarts of oil added every single oil change. At first they tried to tell us this was normal (even though I complained about it every oil change). After Subaru released a recall/test for oil consumption, they told us that our car had failed the consumption test. Insane. After forcing them to run the test again - they admitted finally that the car was consuming more oil. They refused to refund me the cost of the oil even though we had documentation and receipts.
2. AT/Transmission Oil issue. When driven for 2 hours plus our vehicle regularly lights up with AT/Oil light. After 3 visits to the shop we are no further than the first. The next suggested alternative is that the shop takes the car and drives it for 2 hours until the light comes on to read the code. It has been an extremely frustrating experience.
3. Oil change regularity. Each time I take my car in for service a particular employee would try to badger me into getting an oil change after 5k miles (even though Subaru as a manufacturer recommends 7500).
4. Depending on the employee you get when you phone their service desk you can have a very undesirable/rude experience.
5. Phone surveys - each time we've visited their service center we've been hit by a phone survey almost immediately after. Each time we've indicated that we were not satisfied and would like a return call. We have never received a call.
