Everyone at Laird Noller was very curteous & helpful. As a young woman, I often find that I’m treated in a patronizing manner at auto stores or shops, but all of the people here were very friendly & respectful. Greg in the service department made me feel like a valued customer, he even remembered my name every time I saw him since the first time I brought my car in. The service department also provides customers with a ride to wherever they need to go while their vehicle is serviced, which was very helpful to me. I will definitely be returning in the future!

I recently bought a car from Mel Hambelton. After having the vehicle for about 3 weeks, the brakes started giving me trouble (squeaking very loudly at every stop). After numerous service appointments at my local Ford dealership and a few at Mel Hambelton, it was ultimately decided I needed new rotors. I was very angry to hear this news due to having just bought the car 4 months ago and already putting $300 into the brake problem. Stan Bogdan and David Grey took it among themselves to make sure I had the best service possible and did everything they could to make this situation right. Not only did I receive new rotors with no charge, but I also had my car picked up and delivered back to me without having to move a muscle. I am very appreciative of Stan and David and applaud them for their customer service. Many times people forget to empathize and only think about business matters, but not these two. They are true assets and Mel Hambelton is very lucky to have them as a part of their team.

He calls when he says he'll call. If there's additional problems or work that needs to be done, Dayton calls and visits with me about it beforehand. He's the best!

When my daughter & her car was getting an education in Corpus she called me & said she had a flat & I told her to call Johnathon & he advised her that her new car had a tire warranty so instead of paying $250.00 for a new tire she only paid the deductible of $70.00, Recently the transmission began to mess up & we called our trusted Johnathon only to discover he had relocated to Bob Allen in Overland Park, Kansas but even though he's a 542 miles away, he came through for us. F-350 4-wheel-drive noise. - fordman
I thought it would need a new gear box ,but it only needed a hub bearing and some new U-joints. They fixed what was needed , only what was needed , and nothing but what was needed . Even had the drive shaft balanced.Can't beat that for a shop .

Trouble with front wheel bearings - Joe Q. Public
Took my Ranger in for complete brake service front and rear. Just took the truck to another mechanic for other work who said the wheel bearings were not properly torqued and are loose. Also the brake fluid is dark brown and should have been flushed, Shawnee Ford never mentioned it.
$570 for new brakes and front wheel bearings repacked. Not done properly.
Will not be back.
No customer service after the appointment - F150
So I didn't get the discount I was told I was getting. And then was supposed to get a tire fixed when they found a nail. I was told they fixed the tire and I got charged for it but when I got it back there was the nail in the tire still. I tried to call in twice and left 2 messages to try to figure out the issue but no one would return my call.
Huge Mistake - school nickname
Huge mistake was made when we took my Ford Escape in for routine oil change. They forgot to take the old oil out and put 5 quarts of new oil on top of it and sent us on our way. Down the road the car began to smoke and sputter so we turned around and got back to dealership where they discovered the mistake-but only after taking the plug out and watching all the oil pour out. The did redo oil change, and change out spark plugs but still charged us for original oil change. They were apologetic however this could have been a major issue and could have also refunded us our money. We have reached out the dealership but no response - in fact they did not even send us the customary survey they send out after every visit. HMMMM wonder why.......

Our vehicle was there for THREE weeks. We would call to ask about progress and several times we got an answer of 'we don't have any record of your vehicle being here.' Then we would get a call back later in the day to tell us that they were waiting on the mechanic or ordering a part. On Friday, September 29th we called to ask about the status of our vehicle. We again got the response that they had no record of our vehicle being in the shop. We were told Mike would have to call us back. We made plans to get a car dolly and tow our vehicle to another dealer because we had no confidence that our vehicle would ever be fixed. Then about 4:30 that afternoon Mike called back to tell us that our vehicle was fixed and ready to be picked up. We understand that the service department was very busy but there was not an excuse for 'having no record of our vehicle'. We are looking to purchase a new vehicle and we had considered looking at Beckman Motors, but that will no longer be a consideration.

BMW has the worst service department we have ever experienced. We took our SUV BMW in for yearly service and it came back three days later in WORSE shape that when we brought it in! We have purchased three BMWs in the last 10 years but we will not be doing this again.
When I went to pick it up, they had gashed in the back of the car with some type of tool. And then we discovered, after we got home (one hour away, that they hadn't even changed the oil!!
