Got Lucky and Met Thomas Ritari at Streetsboro Kia - chalima
I was passing through Kent, Ohio, when I ran into major engine problems in my 2016 Sorento. I limped into Streetsboro Kia where I met the counter-guy, Thomas Ritari. He was great. Despite being late on a Sunday, he worked hard to get me a loaner car, that I drove for the next two weeks. The repair of my Sorento required bringing in major parts from far away. He worked with the local and remote Kia management chain to make things as smooth as possible for me. He kept me informed of the progress on the repair of my car. The repair was completely successful, and, because of Thomas Ritari, surprisingly economical. He really knows his stuff.

I was promised an extra key when I bought a car there. The floor manager went over to the parks man and told him to order me a extra key. After waiting six to 8 weeks I went to the dealership to find out where my key was. Ewan, the general/floor mgr. Told me that since he didn't put it in writing they weren't going to honor his spoken word. I've been trying to find the name of the owner of Montrose Kia and not having any luck so I can file a complaint. Does anyone know the owner's name?

After going to this dealership test driving a car and liking it but made our saleman Enis Ally aware that the car was pulling to the right an it needed an alignment. He told us no problem they would take care of that.. called the next day told him we were interested in purchasing the car but wanted to first make sure the alignment had been done an also asked that the car be cleaned ,asked for a full tank of gas an whether we could get a warranty. He responded an said yes warranty would not be a problem but alignment could not be done until he was sure we were buying the car. Went in the next day to purchase the car only to be told we could only get warranty if we purchased an additional package for $1200 for projecting the cars interior an protective sealant for paint which we were not interested in. They passed us back an forth between Enis and his manager Brady who was only willing to work with us if we purchased extras. We left extremely unhappy having wasted our time. Why would a used car dealership not fix a problem unless they made the sale and leave it for the next customer who may not realise until they have already bought the car an it's too late an now have to pay for it themselves. And why would the saleman tell you no problem on meeting your terms until you get there only to be told his manager has to approve this an is now unwilling to work with you. We went to another local dealership an walked away the same day with a much nicer vehicle . So I would not recommend this dealership an would definitely not ever go there for future purchases.

I love my new Kia Soul S purchased at Van Devere Kia. I did my research, knew what car I wanted and made an appointment with David Sabitina. Everyone working at the dealership was welcoming. Dave asked me what my normal drive was like-usually I use the expressway to go to work.So he encouraged me to take my test drive on the expressway! That car really performs! I knew I was going to purchase that car and I did. This was my first new car. My only regret is I didn’t ask for little stuffed Kia hamster as part of the deal lol. I don’t live near this dealership-but I thought it worth the drive to check them out and I am happy I did. I appreciated Dave’s honest, no pressure way of working. I was taken on a tour of the dealership, including the service department and got to meet one of the service advisors who spent some time with me as well. I met Amy in the finance department who went over all the final paperwork and got my temporary tag. Very nice and again, no pressure. Dave set my my cell phone to link to my car, made sure I was comfortable with everything then off I went. I will certain refer anyone looking for a car to Van Devere.

My current credit situation is extremely challenged. We're talking in the toilet bad. I was actually trying to get a used car with as few miles on it as possible. I had looked at some of the buy here - pay here/special finance places but their inventory was garbage. I was afraid that I would end up with a junk car that was going to break down. I really want a KIA because I had owed one before. I never should have traded it in because there was nothing wrong with it. I was searching the internet and came across Cronin Kia. I gave it a shot even though I was expecting to be rejected. Cronin put me in a BRAND NEW 2020 Kia Soul. Shiloh Engle was the best. He was very efficient and didn't waste my time. There was no pressure, no judgement. Everyone was so nice. I highly recommend Cronin Kia for all of your automotive needs.

Ric worked with me on my trade in, and gave me a great deal on the car I purchased. I was dreading it because I've had a few bad experiences buying vehicles, and this place helped restore my faith.

Always charge outrageous prices. Takes you for a lot more than what is asked for. Break parts and expect customer to pay for what they broke. A JOKE!!! Never again will I bring my car to this place. My car is now paid off and I guarantee I WILL NOT PURCHASE A NEW ONE FROM THIS PLACE. They sure know the words I don't know, not let me find out because I don't know the answer to that. I'm being asked to pay almost $300 for what they broke trying to change a light bulb. When someone else fixed this under 8 minutes. So unprofessional and lacks so much in the customer service aspects...WWWWWOOOOOWWWW!
I also left a individual my number to call to schedule this $300 work to be done, no phone call. Good thing the kindness of someone decided to help me and take care of . Guess I don't need KIA again. I'm done with this awful place, I'm truly sorry for those that have to deal with this service department.
