The initial interview went very smoothly. The salesperson, Alex D. was focused on listening rather than providing useless facts and sales hype.
I had no intention of making a deal that day, but was impressed with his sincerity, product knowledge, and subtle approach that I signed a commitment and left a deposit.

I was satisfied with the work done to my 2017 Subaru Forester. CJ called me and explained what needed to be done to my vehicle. The work was done in a timely manner. The only complaint I have is the last 2 times my husband and I scheduled service appointments the girl put us in for the wrong day. This time we were dropping the car off on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 and having the work done on Thursday, December 3, 2020. I got a call from the service advisor asking why my car was there Thursday morning. i explained that appointment was for Thursday and we dropped our car off the night before. CJ completed the work on Thursday and I am very glad I could pick it up on Thursday afternoon.

Rob Clay did an excellent job in assisting us buying out a lease on a 2017 Impreza Premium 5-Door while simultaneously setting up a new lease for a 2021 Outback Premium which was ordered and built to our specifications. He kept us updated on the entire process.
He was very attentive, knowledgeable, and very friendly and accommodating. We are about an hour travel time to the dealership so much of the work was done over the phone and online. He always called or texted us back. He answered every question and concern that we had for both vehicles.
When it came time to do the paperwork for each vehicle on different days, everything went smooth and we were not pressured to purchase anything additional. It took less than an hour for each car. Michael Pirih, finance manager was very informative, friendly, respectful, and very easy to talk to.
Finally, the service manager Ken Nutter was outstanding. He coordinated all aspects of service for both vehicles and assisted us with every need that we had.
All in all, fantastic team, great pricing, honest, everything was done as requested. They all exceeded our expectations.

Got windshield replaced at safelight. (That is who my insurance recommends) I had been told by safelight that i could go to any dealership or inspection station and get a replacement sticker for a small fee...spangler was the last to inspect my car which inspection does not run out until september. Spangler has also done all of the services on my car. So. I go there and the man at the service desk tells me that the replacement sticker is $20 but they dont 'do' that. I need to make an appointment and get an inspection done. This is false as replacement stickers are $8 and not required to inspect as long as inspection is current. He explained it would cost $20 since the man has to place the sticker on my vehicle. Such a hastle. Inflated prices. Will never support this business again. They dont care about the individuals who have given them business.

I asked if there were any coupons I could use & he said there may be one 10% off. The 60K checkup was done & the basic CHECKUP was $953.47 . I'm always anxious around car purchasing because I'm very distrustful (with good reason) of car salespeople and dealerships. I was placed with Rob Wiltshire who was, by far, the best person to work with out of any of the dealerships I visited in my search. Unfortunately , John Kennedy Subaru was by far the most expensive of any place I visited, and offered the lowest for my trade-in by $2,000. I ended up saving $100 per month by going somewhere else. I wish it had worked out with Rob, but I'm glad I shopped around.

Returned to the dealership two weeks post-sale. Another positive experience. Had a 30 min session with John, the technology guy about all the vehicle's electronics. He was very helpful in showing me things I had not discovered on my own. They also took my car to re-treat with Zurich shield even though the first coating was perfect (apparently, not perfect enough for them). Provided me a rental car without having me ask for it and gave me a $25 gas card for letting them educate me on my car's electronics (does that make sense....they paid me to come and learn from them?). Spent a few moments talking with Henry before leaving and I felt I wasn't speaking to the general manager of the dealership but moreover, a really good friend.
Let me tell you, I am 63 years-old, lived in the Greensburg area since 1985 and have purchased a number of cars since living in the area but this is my first time to Sendell. Not sure how many more car-buying years I have left but God Willing and the creeks don't rise, I will go back and buy my next one from these guys. Had a very positive experience with the entire team at Sendell. Got there at opening on Saturday and had researched my car that I wanted for weeks. Came prepared and ready to buy AND prepared to spend the entire day doing so as I have come to anticipate buying a car is a full-day experience. Met with Shelly (excellent salesperson) shortly after my arrival, Test drove the vehicle for 15 mins, reviewed their offer and purchased the vehicle. Spent a few moments talking with Henry (general manager - great guy), spoke with John (their Encore Technology guy) for a few minutes, then waited about 15 for Josh (another great guy) from the Finance Team, shortly thereafter, my car was ready amidst a full show room of people by 12N. Best experience of my car-buying life. Was having such a nice time conversing with all their team, I wasn't really ready to leave. Home at 12:30. Bought many new cars in my life but this was an exceptional experience. I really didn't buy just a 2021 Crosstrek, I bought a Crosstrek AND a team of individuals who gave a heck about the customer experience. My only disappointment was I was not able to meet the lady on their commercials who closes every ad with "We'd love to meet you." LOL.. Oh well, can't have everything! May of 2019 – When we bought the car we were told free lifetime inspections. Never once did they tell us that we could have to pay. So my car needed a marker light bulb and rear brakes. They wanted over $800 even though they advertise they offer the best prices. The brake price was one thing but for the marker light they wanted $34.00. The bulb cost $0.50 at NAPA and took less than 1 minute to replace.
Just this week (2/4/2020) we are losing our radio when we put the rear defrost on. We got this rude lady from the call center who told us to just call safe lite and have them fix it. But we have a warranty that is to cover this. So I called the manager today (2/6/20) and no apology just told me this is the standard procedure.
I guess the standard procedure is to be rude to customers.

I have had 3 Foresters, bought new from Faulkner's. The first 2 were great cars, serviced by them. Service was always excellent. I traded for a 2021 Forester. Between 10 AM and 4:30 pm, the deal was complete and the new car was delivered to my driveway. Initial paperwork was done electronically, I didn't have to go into the dealer at all. That was the best experience I have ever had buying a car. Their staff (Ashton) and salesman Dan Mann, were great. I love the car, and will continue to get the car serviced there. I couldn't be happier with the whole experience!
