I purchased a Crosstrek at the end of 2023. The sales person who helped me was personable but the process was far from simple… And the accessories promo I was originally offered- they tried to say it wasn’t valid… weird, but whatever.
When I brought my car in for its 2nd oil change the service team put the wrong oil in my car. I got a call a bit after leaving and was told I needed to bring it back because they made a mistake and put the wrong oil in my car… The third time I brought it in for an oil change, I was told someone would call me when it was done.
No one ever called- so I took my extra key to the dealership after hours in hopes my car was complete and was accessible somewhere on the lot- since I needed it for the next day.
Not only was my car in the middle of the parking lot (not a parking spot), but it was completely unlocked and the key was in the cup holder.
I called 3 separate times and left messages to pay over the phone- and report how my property was mishandled. No one called me back. About 4 weeks later, someone called me saying I had an open invoice that needed to be paid- and claimed they never got any messages from me… I honestly don’t understand how the Rafferty Subaru dealership puts incorrect oil in a Subaru. And/also completely disregards securing a vehicle they are in possession of- even more so since- Rafferty wasn’t even open the following day. 10/10 would NOT recommend. It’s one thing to have horrible customer service it’s another to be so careless with someone’s else’s property. Lame.
