"Nice and clean facility with clear communication, but overpriced service." The facility itself is nice and clean, and the staff provided clear communication throughout the process. However, I am not satisfied with the service pricing. I own another luxury SUV that is more expensive than my Elantra. When I’ve had similar services performed at that brand's dealership, the total was actually less than the estimate Hyundai provided. Because of the high cost, I had to decline some of the recommended services and only proceed with what I wanted to proceed at Hyundai. It makes no sense why servicing an Elantra would be more expensive than a higher-end vehicle. While I am happy with the quality of service provided and will continue to visit for certain needs, I will be taking my car to a different local shop for other required fluid exchange services due to these high costs.

Matthieu Gerard was totally excellent in handling my break and oil pan issues. Needed the repairs done in a relatively time since was going out of town the next day. Matthieu got an estimate to me in a few hours and had coordinated all the repairs such that they had all been done by early the next day. His professionalism and attention to duty had made this visit to your dealership a very pleasant experience. I will return in the future for service to Koons Hyundai based on the totally excellent efforts of Matthieu.

However, the waiting to be checked in was longer than expected because Ricky was the only person present. There should be more than one customer service representative on busy Saturday mornings.

Such a great place to go. We bought our first Jones vehicle in 2020 and still have it. Last Sept 2023, we brought my cousin and he got a car. Just went back today 3/20/24 and within a couple of hours left in a brand new 2024 Hyundai Tucson with 19 miles on it. This was a gift for my Mother and she LOVES it. Parked in driveway and handed her the keys. A special thank you to Alyson who helped me out on the Facebook Messenger (I responded to one of their facebook ads) and to Michael T Stender, the salesman who was literally at the door when I parked and got me in and out, the finance dept and Peter who handled the paperwork.

My car needed a part that was back ordered for an indefinite amount of time. Sarah did an excellent job keeping me updated on the status of my repair and ensured I had a loaner that could fit my family’s needs. Great customer service!

Service person at check in was great. Took me in right away with no delay even though I was quite early. No issues with the work performed however, dealer records need to be kept updated as whoever performed the work on my vehicle listed that my transmission was due for service when it actually wasn’t. They also noted I needed spark plugs replaced which I had done back in February this year. I can’t fault that one as the plugs were done at an automotive shop and not the dealer however, this Hyundai dealership did service my transmission last year. Overall I’m satisfied but this dealership does need to keep up on their records.

At third service interval (~22K miles) on my Palisade, service advisor told me "Hyundai recommends a four wheel alignment which will be $275, would you like to schedule that today?" That was when I was checking in and no one had even driven the car...I did not make a scene and replied "no". Great job Pohanka Service Department! Today, I went in to parts for an oil filter and an in-cabin air filter, the parts guy came back and told me that would be $91...I asked for a breakdown and he told me the in-cabin was $70 and the oil was $21; I walked out. OEM parts (check any Hyundai dealer that sells on-line) and the highest I found were $28.75 and $10.15 respectively (not including $15 shipping). So, adding in 6% MD sales tax, Pohanka was upcharging me no less than 82%. Way to go Pohanka Parts Department! I am sure the dealer will respond that somehow I am mistaken and how much they value their customers, I am not and apparently that value is very little.

Quick, straightforward negotiation, transparent pricing, knowledgeable sales staff, incredibly organized finance manager, quick process. The whole thing took 24 hours from us contacting them about the vehicle to driving off the lot. Could not be happier, would definitely recommend to anyone.
