I’m a young guy, rates are high now and yet, they gave me a great rate with special financing. No haggling, and almost a couple thousand off a brand new Mazda 3 Hatchback Carbon. So far it’s an amazing car and my salesman Ubaldo did an awesome job selling me the car. There was no pressure to buy it, I never once felt obligated to continue in the buying process, even though I knew I wanted the car already. Overall 10/10.

I recently purchased a new Mazda from Sam Leman Mazda and had a great experience. Justin Schultz greeted me as I walked in the door and we talked at length as to the type of car I was looking for and what I would be using it for. I had done quite a bit of research in advance of going to dealerships but needed to physically see and sit in the cars before doing any more research and Justin was very accommodating in showing me all the cars and talking me through all the other cars that fit in the same category I was looking at. At no point did I feel pressured or like I was getting the hard sale -- Justin was truly looking to put me in a car that would be best for me that matched my budget and lifestyle. In the end we found a great car that had an even better financing special and he came in on his off day to sell the car to me. Everybody I met with at the dealership was friendly and honest and were working in my best interest.

I went into the Countryside Mazda dealer to check out their new 2023 Mazda 3 cars. I was met by Andrew Jakubczak who was very helpful. The dealer had one Mazda 3 in stock in a different color and was fully loaded which drove so beautifully. Since they didn’t have one in the color and accessories I had wanted, I decided to order one from the factory which would take about 3 months. The next day I decided to change its color and Andrew was able to get a car that afternoon in that color and called me right away. Although it had more features than I had preferred (such as a sunroof), I fell in love with it (including the memorized seating position for driver’s seat) which is awesome! Andrew also loaded the Mazda application onto my cell phone and showed me various features in the new car. (By the way, I had forgotten to lock one of my doors and the “Mazda app” alerted me I had left a door unlocked and I was able to resolve it quickly! I also had my driver’s side door beep several times continuously when I had locked it manually while exiting to alert me “before” closing the door that my key remote was in the car. It had fallen out of my pocket onto my driver’s seat! Was so thankful for that alert!) I really like the “Mazda Connect” screen that is located slightly below the dashboard and in black with its controls and selections near the gears. For me, the screen is less distracting and with the knobs and buttons next to my driving gears, I can feel their positions with my right hand while driving with my left hand. The driver’s seating area in this midsize car is more roomier than in many cars I had tried out elsewhere (in this price range). Andrew was very helpful and patient to ensure I felt comfortable with the operations of my new car. Joseph Bledsoe and Alberto Bustamante were great and assisted with the financial and paperwork aspects of the sale. The service department added a shield protection finish to the inside and outside of the car, and installed the wheel locks on my tires. I am very thankful for all their support and am looking forward to working with their service department for future maintenance and repairs, and this dealer for my next new car after this one! I was nervous about shopping here after dealing with high pressure sales tactics that had me just walk about of Napelton Honda, but my experience here yesterday was amazing! This place is run completely different. From front desk to sales to finance- all three of these guys were all around were just fantastic. The salesman Issac did not try to upsell me out of my budget at ALL made the day pretty fun! I am absolutely in love with the Mazda CX-5 I bought, and the price I paid.

My tire pressure light came on this morning, so I called service to see if they can take a look at my car and if needed to put air in my tire. I went to the dealership service area and the guy "sure, we can take a look at it". I waited for a while, which was perfectly fine. After a while, I see my car pulled up and I noticed that they washed my car. I go to meet the person bringing my car and he says "your car is ready and good to go". I say, "well what happened to my car? who gave permission to wash my car? what was the tire issue, and what was done to fix it?". He said, "oh someone should have spoken to you about it." I said, "no, no one did". At this point, I inspected my car, specifically the hood of my car (which I will explain later). I saw some immediate fine scratches. I was pissed. So I went to talk to the person who originally took my car. I asked "what was done to the tire of my car, how did the problem get resolved and who gave the permission to wash my car?" He didn't have any idea what was done to my tire, so he had to go ask. They told me that, my rear passenger side had a nail and they plugged it for me. I said okay fine. But who washed my car? He said we did, it was complimentary. I said, I never asked for a car wash. I brought the car in for a simple check up of my tires and for someone to tell me what is going on and to consult with me on what I needed done or how to proceed. I then began to explain to him, why I was very upset about the car wash. I have only gone to Napelton Mazda dealerships since I bought my car in September 2017. I only went to Arlington Heights Napelton Mazda for oil change services and noticed that I had several scratches on my black vehicle that was even on both sides of my car, which could only be explained by car washes. Therefore I decided to pay out of my own pocket to a very nice auto body show, who did water sand washing and buffed out my scratches on my hood only (because I did not want to do the entire car at the time) and made a decision at that time that I would never take my car to get washed at a dealer and I had not washed my car since I got it buffed out. I saw scratches immediately on the hood of my car, after the Napelton in Libertyville washed my car without my permission. The man that helped me, said "his car wash is brand spanking new" and therefore it could not be their car wash that caused this. He was rude, and made everything seem like it was my fault. Then went on to say how I should be happy because they fixed my tire, which had a nail in it and they plugged it for free which it should have been a $30.00 charge. I said, I did not ask you to perform a service for free, I will pay for it if you would like. But at no time, did anyone consult with me that there was a nail and whether I wanted it to be plugged or what we should do or how we should proceed. Nor did anyone ask if I wanted a car wash. It is not the dealers right to perform such services and or acts to my car without my permission. I am furious at the service and incompetence of Mazda Napelton. I will NEVER recommend anyone to come to your location. I came to this location when I first started looking at purchasing a vehicle last year and I felt the people were rude and unhelpful at this location and therefore we went with another dealer. I love my car and take care of it. I am so upset that this dealership service people were rude. I have had numerous issues with the Napelton family and the way they take care of their customers.
