From the moment I walked in everyone has been excellent. I already knew what I wanted, so I didn’t need to be sold. Regardless, their customer service sold me, this is the dealership I need to work with. Kelly, the finance manager is excellent. She is knowledgeable and patient, not making me feel rushed making important decisions. Brandon, my sales rep, has been amazing. He is friendly, efficient, and very helpful. I’ve come back a few times since my purchase (to bring some more paperwork, get a maintenance plan etc.) and everyone is so friendly. On my most recent visit I really needed my car washed. I will not purchase another Mazda from Scherer Mazda of Peoria again, my experience was awful. The salesman pressured me to trade in my car and convinced me he had a person who wanted to buy it and then gave me a loaner car for 2 days that was a strip down model of what I was purchasing,
Then when I went into see the F&I manager Scott Saver, he kept trying to pressure me into buying an extended warranty by saying "This is the last time you can buy this warranty" and each time he said it he kept getting louder, and louder and louder. Practically Yelling at me. My husband was with me he also witnessed this disrespectful behavior. I do like my car, but next time I am going to Bloomington IL to buy my next Mazda.

My daughter bought a car from this dealership two weeks ago, and last week, the manual transmission failed while she was in Madison, WI for our son's wedding. Illinois has an implied warranty law that requires used car dealerships to repair major failures happening in less than 500 miles, so she called the dealership to see what she should do to get it repaired. The dealership has put her on hold, transferred calls to voicemail or just let the phone ring, and when they did answer, they told her the clutch and bearings are not part of a manual transmission - maybe thinking she would believe such a ridiculous statement because she's a woman? In any case they have done nothing at all to help her, and if your're a young woman, a person with a daughter, or for that matter, a human being who wants to buy a used car you can trust from a dealer that looks out for its customers, don't buy a car from Napleton Arlington Mazda. GM Danny Napleton implied that our daughter didn’t know how to drive a clutch (can you say sexist?)

My tire pressure light came on this morning, so I called service to see if they can take a look at my car and if needed to put air in my tire. I went to the dealership service area and the guy "sure, we can take a look at it". I waited for a while, which was perfectly fine. After a while, I see my car pulled up and I noticed that they washed my car. I go to meet the person bringing my car and he says "your car is ready and good to go". I say, "well what happened to my car? who gave permission to wash my car? what was the tire issue, and what was done to fix it?". He said, "oh someone should have spoken to you about it." I said, "no, no one did". At this point, I inspected my car, specifically the hood of my car (which I will explain later). I saw some immediate fine scratches. I was pissed. So I went to talk to the person who originally took my car. I asked "what was done to the tire of my car, how did the problem get resolved and who gave the permission to wash my car?" He didn't have any idea what was done to my tire, so he had to go ask. They told me that, my rear passenger side had a nail and they plugged it for me. I said okay fine. But who washed my car? He said we did, it was complimentary. I said, I never asked for a car wash. I brought the car in for a simple check up of my tires and for someone to tell me what is going on and to consult with me on what I needed done or how to proceed.
I then began to explain to him, why I was very upset about the car wash. I have only gone to Napelton Mazda dealerships since I bought my car in September 2017. I only went to Arlington Heights Napelton Mazda for oil change services and noticed that I had several scratches on my black vehicle that was even on both sides of my car, which could only be explained by car washes. Therefore I decided to pay out of my own pocket to a very nice auto body show, who did water sand washing and buffed out my scratches on my hood only (because I did not want to do the entire car at the time) and made a decision at that time that I would never take my car to get washed at a dealer and I had not washed my car since I got it buffed out. I saw scratches immediately on the hood of my car, after the Napelton in Libertyville washed my car without my permission.
The man that helped me, said "his car wash is brand spanking new" and therefore it could not be their car wash that caused this. He was rude, and made everything seem like it was my fault. Then went on to say how I should be happy because they fixed my tire, which had a nail in it and they plugged it for free which it should have been a $30.00 charge. I said, I did not ask you to perform a service for free, I will pay for it if you would like. But at no time, did anyone consult with me that there was a nail and whether I wanted it to be plugged or what we should do or how we should proceed. Nor did anyone ask if I wanted a car wash. It is not the dealers right to perform such services and or acts to my car without my permission.
I am furious at the service and incompetence of Mazda Napelton. I will NEVER recommend anyone to come to your location. I came to this location when I first started looking at purchasing a vehicle last year and I felt the people were rude and unhelpful at this location and therefore we went with another dealer. I love my car and take care of it. I am so upset that this dealership service people were rude. I have had numerous issues with the Napelton family and the way they take care of their customers.

We ordered the car on December 8, 2018 in Mazda Aufenberg, O'fallon.
First. They promised it would arrive on December 17. As a result we got the car on Dec, 27. Probably they knew that car was supposed to arrive later than Jan 17. They could lie us to make us buy the car.
Second. During buying the car we discussed that we didn't need any extension warranty and other plans. But they cheated us and added SafeRidePlan (for 899$) to the price without our agreement. Also they didn't pointed it in the main contract. We noticed it and requested cancellation on 27, Dec. As result of their fabrication, the bank blocked our credit. The dealership asked us to drive again to sign the new contract on January, 9. We live 70 miles away of O'fallon. So we spent a lot of time for it this day. And we again signed request for SafeRide plan cancellation. And they promised it would be done soon and we would get our 899$ back.
Today is 03/08/19 and we still haven't got our refund (899$ +% for bank interest) for this plan. We have been calling them, texting and sending email. But they even haven't been answering!!!
We are disappointed about Mazda Aufenberg. Totally, I will recommend everybody to stay away from this dealership.

Sam Leman Mazda provides very poor customer service, I purchased a vehicle and they made me wait for my vehicle registration for more than a month. My temporary permit has already expired and I’m unable to legally drive new vehicle. Very Unfortunate! The dealer did not reply to my emails and phone calls!
