I came in with the intent of just test driving a Ram (I was originally looking at a Silverado). After loving the Ram, Tyler did an amazing job at working with me to find a deal on a used Ram. When we couldn't find a used Ram that I liked, Tyler was able to put together an amazing deal on a new Ram! He did an amazing job at showing me all the features of the Ram, and never pressuring me to make a decision. Ordered a 2018 Challenger R/T plus in May. Took two months to come in but worth the wait. Tate Dodge and salesman Lee Patterson were great to work with. I am a returning customer with Tate Dodge. Purchased at 2009 Challenger and a 2012 Ram bighorn from them also. Traded my 2009 Challenger in on my new Challenger and received a fair price for it.

On June 22 I was traveling from NJ to SC when my Jeep broke down just off Interstate 95. I had my Roadside Assistance tow the vehicle to the nearest Jeep dealership which turned out to be Fred Frederick in Laurel. Even though they were busy, Joe Lavin went out of his way to have the problem diagnosed, overnight the part and install it the next day. He made sure I had a place to stay and kept my Jeep, with all my travel gear in it, in the service bay for safe keeping. I was on the road the next afternoon and have not have any mechanical problems since.

Had a frustrating experience with Tate. It started the night before when I received a text message confirming my appointment. The message said "text back with questions," so I did. I asked if there was a courtesy shuttle and I received no response. Suggestion: Either use text messaging to comm with your customers or don"t. But the lack of response is NOT helpful or good customer service. In fact, it's frustrating.
The next day. I walked in for a schedule appointment and no one acknowledged me. I stood there awkwardly while people clicked on their computers, waiting to hear "be right with you, ma'am" or "welcome to Tate." Nothing. Finally, I said "do I need to talk with someone specifically...what do I do." A man, who didn't even bother to look up from his screen, said "be with you in a minute." Horrible first impression. Suggestion: Greet customers when they come in. How about having the receptionist to the left acknowledge customers if the service techs are busy? Come on...not rocket science...
So, despite having a scheduled appointment. I was told "may or may not be seen." He went on to discuss how busy and backed up they were. Yada. Yada. Yada. Suggestion: Stop overbooking. Don't you get tired of pissed off customers who have to schedule their day around service. Aren't you tired of saying "don't know if it will be done today..." and dealing with frustrated customers. Hire some techs. Change your booking policies. Do something.
Whatever. So I am stuck in Frederick waiting with promises of a call back and an update. I once again received a text saying "reply to this text" if you need anything. I did...twice...requesting an update...NOTHING. I had to call back repeatedly. It was closing time, and had not heard anything. Finally...after I called back...again...my truck was ready. Suggestion: If you say you are going to call with an update...call with an update. Your courtesy shuttle would not take me home, so i was stuck...waiting...
Got the truck. Noticed the oil change indicator had not been reset. Great. They were closed. Did they really change my oil or were they "too busy?" I called Sat morning, and the guy who answered the phone said "all evidence suggests" it was changed, but he couldn't tell me for sure. What the heck does "all evidence suggest" mean? I asked for a straight answer and yes got frustrated. He could not give me one. He went on to say "it's been a rough week" at the shop and would have the service manager call me. He didn't want to deal with me. Oh...and he did tell me I could drop back by and have them check it out and reset it. Sorry, Tate...I can't drop everything and drive 45 mins back to your shop and sit there for something YOU SHOULD HAVE DONE PROPERLY in the first place. Suggestion: Add some sort of line item to your system that says "oil change complete? yes or no." If a service tech can't say definitively that an oil change happened...it's a problem especially when you customer paid for it.

Purchasing my Jeep was awesome. No problems and I was not there for hours and hours. BUT, if I had known how hard the service department is to deal with I would have never purchased from Adams and I will not ever purchase from Adams again.
When you call and ask for service they ask "Are you scheduling an oil change or recall?" I respond no. Mostly because all of my issues have been with quality of work from Adams service or warranty work. Then I hear her mock me and say "no" as she transfers my call. The phone rings again. The same lady answers and I say service department please. "Are you scheduling an oil change or recall?" No I am not. Transfers me and it goes straight to someone's voicemail. When I finally get a hold of someone in service scheduling is a nightmare. Closed on Saturdays and always days out for service. They recommend you go across the street and rent a car from Enterprise. NO WAY! If I am there for warranty work you better provide me with a loaner vehicle. I was told they may not have one available. Not my problem.
When I called to schedule oil change I asked they not top off my DEF Fluid as I have that and do it myself. They told me that I don't need to use DEF Fluid because it's only for diesel vehicles. Umm, no kidding. I have a diesel engine that's why I said that. They talk to you like your stupid.
Another time I had a nail in the side of my tire. My Jeep was less than one year old and I have fully painted rims. I did not want to take it to a tire place and have them scratch the rim. So, I called and took it to Adams. They scratched my rim. Then when I took it back and complained they very clumsily put black touch up paint on it and said okay your good to go.
I am furious at the service there and only continue to get oil changes and warranty work there because according to my warranty that is my "Home" dealership.

I took my Grand Cherokee to get service and repairs. After 6 months of poor and incomplete work done by their mechanics, I will never return. So sad because they are the closest dealer. They can't even get a recall repair right.

Spent 100k in a week on 2 trucks. Trouble from the start, second vehicle delivered in horrible condition, took it back and cleaned it again but obviously didn’t lift the lift gate. I was told they didn’t want to use a cleaner on it so they didn’t mess up the paint, I took a wet cloth and it came right off. List goes on and on, the straw that broke the back for us, our trade-ins were not paid off in time and I had to shell out $500 to get those loans closed, dragged me along for over a week and could honestly careless. Suddenly the fault is mine, and they honestly could careless (notice a pattern). As I told everyone at Cook, I am not a complainer but they sure make it easier to become one. Never Again, I have two beautiful vehicles and would be just fine getting my old one’s back then go through that again. A lot of fluff on the surface but upper management is garbage! I have documentation and messages to back all of my statements.
