Buying a car involves too much price haggling for my taste, but Charlie is a pleasant guy to buy a car from even if I have no idea what the man behind the curtain (sales manager) may be doing with the price of the used vehicle, the value of my trade-in, or the financing package. Someday, dealerships will be more transparent with their pricing, like Carmax.

Buying a new car for me is like pulling teeth. When I lurched my F250 last year I ended up yelling at the salesman and manager. Which is why I didn't return when buying a new mustang. I decided to try Wareham Ford. The dealership is very small by today's standards (which was a welcome surprise). I was treated kindly and with respect by Serena and all involved. Those Maga-dealers need to take lessons.

Our family just had the best time buying a Ford F-150 Lariat and I wanted to make sure I gave credit where credit was due.
(1) Wonderfully Communicative - Jason Lehner, the delearship manager, was amazing. Since we know little about cars but wanted to venture into truck ownership, we turned to a relative who is 1000s of miles away for help. This didn’t phase Jason at all. He answered every text, email and call with care and worked effortlessly with someone he never met in person. My relative is a bit of a hard cookie to crack so we were all impressed at how Jason was able to navigate the rapid fire questions and concerns.
(2) Stellar Price - We did approach other dealers but Waterford Ford simply offered the best price for our custom order. We feel like we walked away with an fantastic price for a brand new 2018 custom Lariat order.
(3) Straight Shooter - Jason never tried to sell us something for the sake of selling. We didn’t feel overwhelmed with the options or that we were making a mistake by not buying an additional feature. He was polite, listened and ensured we were comfortable with the order BUT we never felt pressured to take on more.
The best part was when we finally went in the sign papers! Michael O'Brien, the manager emeritus, saw that I had kids in tow and offered to have the car sent to our home since we couldn’t bring it back on the same day. It made my life so much easier! Seriously. That small gesture made my year. And now I have a gorgeous new ride.

My entire experience with Stoneham Ford was dreadful. Their sales staff members, Lisa Canha and Chris Santarpio, were both unresponsive and would ignore my emails. I would ask them for information and not hear back from them despite the fact that I showed great interest in purchasing one of their high end vehicles. Chris Santarpio attempted to make me believe that once the current promotion ended, there would be no more promotions which we all know is a lie.
The sales manager was very insulting. He attempted to lowball me on my trade-in vehicle, offering far below the Kelly Blue Book trade-in value, even after admitting the vehicle was in excellent condition. On top of that, he was very rude in trying to tell me what I wanted in a vehicle rather than letting me decide for myself.
The dealership was not willing to negotiate price and let a $50K+ sale on a year old vehicle slip through their fingers knowing full well the new models would be arriving any day. This dealership has more vehicles than they know what to do with, which isn’t surprising since it’s obvious they don’t know how to sell them.

So I test dove two vehicle's here on a Saturday and made a decision on one of the vehicle's. I left and returned back to the dealership within the hour and requested to put a deposit down on the vehicle that I wanted to purchase. The sales person stated that it was not fair to the other "salesman" as it could block a potential sale and stated that they don't take deposits. Not the norm but went with it, and an appointment was set for Monday afternoon, which was confirmed via the sale person calling to confirm Monday mid morning. Well I leave work early have all my affairs in order in regards to go forward with the sale and I receive a call from the sales person "I have some bad news...the vehicle just sold". Now I'm only 8 minutes away from the dealer after driving approximately 50 miles to get there on time sharp. So now he/she wants to push a lease over the phone...which I respectfully declined. After two messages were left for the manager or dealership owner to contact me, a call back was made by a manager and it turns out the vehicle was "sold" earlier in the week...but it was ok to have other potential buyers test driving a vehicle that someone already bought. If the new "owner" only knew that! After listening to his excuses and trying to get me back for another sale with "discounts" off for the trouble it has caused, again no thank you. So folks when you hear one of their sales person's giving the recited song and dance as to how they are different than all the area dealer's and they take great pride for this award and that award... ya, smile and walk away. If they could give "negative awards" to this dealership...they would have won fair and square.

I had bought a used car from them. Right after that, the next day, a few problems surfaced that I didn't notice at first. It took them several days to take care of these problems, but they did everything to address them, without a word of complaint. I would especially like to praise the girl I worked with - Stephanie Sheperd. She is a real pistol.

I buy new vehicles online, I do not enjoy going to dealers and there is nothing worse than dealing with a poor excuse of a car salesman and greedy dealer mentality. I reached out online to to make a deal on a $85K Super Duty, I was basically shrugged off and told to "Keep in Touch" with no effort on their part to make a deal. Was considering trading in my 18' Raptor ($74.5 MSRP with $6k in extras) and wanted to get a fair trade-in value on a $80k new vehicle purchased a few months back, not here I was told they sell them new for less!?!?! Really, you sell new Ford Raptors $5k under MSRP with $6k in extras? I guess I should have purchased here! lol... BS! Every Raptor on there site is listed over MSRP. Beware buyers, do your homework before reaching out to this dealer and avoid this sales associate Tusani Parague.
