If I could give zero stars I would in a heart beat. I bought a used 2008 Suzuki XL7 from them in December 2017. I worked with Tim Johnson and awesome guy to work with but when I purchased it they he said it sat for a short while and that is why the steeling was a little tight. I took it into a shop in which they said the power steering pump was not working, lone be hold they sold me a car with no power steeling in it but unfortunately thats not the only problem with it. Here it is not even 6 months later, I have put less than 6,000 miles on it since I had purchased it and the engine light pops on. I took it to auto zone and they said cylinders 2&6 were miss firing to replace the spark plugs. So I replace all the spark plugs, in return my engine light is now blinks and all cylinders are miss firing. I took it to the shop and the timing belt needs to be replaced at $2000. I called the manager (Josh) of Grand Ledge Ford (who was extreme rude) and told me he would not take the car back nor could he help me out unless I rolled over my loan with them. As I told him I did not want to purchase another car from them he said he could not help me then. I am an extremely frustrated customer, who now is not only has a $4,000 loan with them but now have to replace the engine for another $2,000.

We ordered a base model Ford Fusion hybrid. Our sales consultant Dan Friihauf did an excellent job of explaining options to us, getting us a good deal and keeping us updated on the progress of the car. When the car arrived he explained the features to us. We hadn't had a new car since 2001 so that was very useful. The new car was clean and shiny and had a full tank of fuel. The other staff that we encountered was very friendly. The F&I person didn't argue with us when we turned down all the wonderful protection he offered, a refreshing change from an experience at another dealership a long time ago. We will definitely return to Bell Ford next time we buy a new car.

If I could give this dealership a zero star rating I would. Brian Billings is a cocky, arrogate, jerk who made my boyfriend and I feel like we’re criminals while we attempted to look for a new Lincoln.
We were driving the parking lot of Vasity and although there were plenty of employees walking around no one greeted us, nor did they come out when we were taking pictures of a certain MKZ that we liked the color of but didn’t have the package we wanted. We drove over to their body shop parking lot where they have “overflow” of new inventory and then headed back to the main building to do another pass, we were leaving when we noticed the back lot behind/beside the store so we parked in the Sams Club parking lot and preceded to walk into this lot.
The first car I walked up to happened to be unlocked I opened the door not really on purpose just out of habit of feeling the door handles. I closed the door almost immediately without even touching anything inside the car, and moved on. At some point I received an email for work and looked down at my phone to reply, an employee from the dealership approached my boyfriend and asked “did you need something”, he replied that we were just looking around and then the employee said “he was opening doors” looking at me. I replied that yes I opened one car door and they said they were closed, that we couldn’t be here and needed to leave, and that I shouldn’t open car doors. He then went out to our car proceeded to call someone and read off our license plate of our 2011 MKZ and watch as we drove off. Would this have happened if we were in our Black Label Continental that we just returned as we wait for the Aviator?
A) it’s a dealership cars are meant to be looked at B) it was maybe 6:15 and the dealership closed at 6 so had someone come up to us before we might have known C) if we aren’t supposed to be somewhere typically there is a gate or signage stating this. D) I am a 29 year old man walking around with my 27 year old boyfriend I was not doing anything harmful.
We started walking back to our car and another employee whispered “you shouldn’t be here” as we walked by. If this is customer service we’ll gladly take our business to Hines Park who is always helpful and also has a full fledged gate cordoning off the inventory they don’t want the public to have access to.

I called Ed Koehn ford and my salesman was Patrick Sheppard, he was able to match the competitor's price. Patrick was easy to work with, and everyone at the dealership was friendly and helpful. I was given a tour of the dealership and met many employees. I also am employed at a service providing business and I have never experienced the level of service that Ed Koehn Ford has to offer. So if you want to be treated like family with honesty and integrity go see Patrick at Ed Koehn.

Poorly treated by two different new car salesmen on 2 separate occasions. The salesman today had little to no interest in helping me. I walked in with the intention of buying and paying cash for a new Volvo. I could tell right away that he has no desire to help me. Very condescending.
In past when visiting the service department, I'm treated wonderfully. The parts department was especially helpful. It's because of parts and service that I will refrain from leaving only 1 star. Also Naz has always been very nice and helpful.

My son bought a 30,000 truck and in less than 3 weeks having ball joint issues and a cracked air intake that will cost us over 500.00 in repairs. spoke with salesman and was told the truck went through a inspection. I ASKED HOW COULD THIS TRUCK HAVE ALL THESE PROBLEMS AND WERE NOT FIXED BEFORE SALE OF TRUCK. I WILL NEVER ADVISE PEOPLE TO BUY FROM lAKEVIEW FORD!
Service Writers are RUDE - Hate Midland Ford
I have had to take my 2016 Escape in for service several times, twice in the first 6,000 miles for the same issue. They tried to tell me they were different issues although the error code was the same. They told me that "Chryslers break down too".
The first time I took it in I had to wait a week for an appointment when the error that came up said "service now".
The last time I took it in I made an appointment to have 3 things fixed and get an oil change. They called to tell me they were too busy to look at all my issues I would have to make a second appointment to look at the electrical issues.
Had to have the shocks replaced in the first 10,000 miles.

We stopped into service with our 2014 Ford Explorer LIMITED. Told them that the back up camera didn't work and the rear lift gate didn't work. After 5.5 hrs we stopped back in only to be told that yes. The camera and rear lift gate were in fact broken. It will be $1100 to repair. We said forget it. Then they said they couldn't find our car or the keys. We were told that we would have to wait half hr for the techs to return from lunch. Then we were charged $100 for what we already knew. The service guy told us just to use our mirrors like people use to do when they needed to back up. THIS IS A $60K CAR. WE DIDN'T PAY FOR BELLS AND WHISTLES JUST FOR THEM TO ONLY LAST 3 YEARS.
