When I bring my Subaru in for an oil change and tire rotation, you never balance the tires. Don't you think it makes sense? I don't care if there is an extra charge, but it makes me mad that my tires are out of balance and then you have to come back in or go somewhere else to get them balanced.

Buyer Beware - Irritated
Do not expect any help from these people whatsoever. If you buy from them, DO NOT let them railroad you into a vehicle you don't want. I was stupid, don't be me. They sold me a base version off the lot, telling me that it would be great and was no different from the next model up, which was not true at all, they just wanted to unload the base version in time for the next model year. I should have been way more assertive. This was even after I submitted a build-and-price for what I wanted online. Three days after I purchased the awful thing, they refused to even discuss an upgrade for any amount of money. BTW I paid cash. It was a terrible experience.

Made appointment for 11 am. 2 1/2 hrs. Later, they finally finished, not because it took them that long. They started at 2 pm. A number of people who came later were taken care of first. So much for appointments.

I came into your dealership on May 22nd looking to purchase a new car. After running my credit multiple times, the salesman that I was working with was only able to get me so much in approved financing. I asked him about the pricing of the vehicle I was interested in and asked for a print out detailing the costs of everything. On Friday, May 24th, he finally provided me with that. At that time I told him that I would like to talk about the actual price that the car was being sold for. I mentioned that the actual market price that people were paying for that car was only around 20,000, yet the price I was being given was a little over 22,000. When I mentioned I wanted to negotiate the price of the car, I never heard back from that salesman. This was on Friday May 24th when I mentioned the negotiation. I reached back out to the salesman on Tuesday May 28th and Wednesday May 29th and never heard anything back from this salesman.
I was really inclined to purchase a vehicle from this location and from this salesman, however I was very upset with the customer service I received. When talking about down payments, the salesman tried to push me to borrow the money from family members or friends, and also the lack of communication from this salesman when I brought up the price of the vehicle was very unprofessional.
I purchased the vehicle I was interested in from the Summitplace Kia Auburn Hills dealership on May 29th, for less than the price I was trying to negotiate with this salesman. I am writing, hoping that the issue of customer service and lack of communication will be addressed for future customers. Have a wonderful day and thank you for your time.

Matick Toyota gave us close to KBB value for our Explorer. They won’t bs you & will work hard to make you happy. Staff is friendly & professional. Serra Openly states: "Excellence at every turn...and every straightaway" However having paid their very expensive price for an oil change ($ 71.68 nearly double when compared to specialty oil service centers in our N Mich area ) where they offer a "MULTI-POINT INSPECTION" checking nearly 48+ items and systems on Toyota Vehicle and providing an assessment for each. My inspection form was blatantly checked as all OK at this time when in fact the majority of items on my inspection WERE NOT INSPECTED NOR WAS ANY TIME DEVOTED TO THEM.
A previous experience with my wife's vehicle at this Serra Toyota service department produced the exact same results. Upon presenting my vehicle for this service I had actually applied clear tape over many of the items on the check list to see if the tape was disturbed as a result from their removing the tap to perform their inspections on each of these items. THE TAPE WAS EXACTLY AS I HAD PLACED IT, NOT DISTURBED OR REMOVED TO HAVE PROVIDED ACCESS FOR THEIR SERVICE PEOPLE TO HAVE CHECKED THE NEARLY 48 + ITEMS ON MY VEHICLE
So I paid their asking price and did not receive the value promised. Seriously considering not returning to Serra Toyota again.
Credit should be given to the service manage as he did return my 1st call, still waiting to hear his response from my 2nd call.

Severely rust hidden from buyer - BillS
Six months ago my daughter bought a 2010 Mazda 3 from Toyota of Grand Rapids. Last week she started having issues. A mechanic who inspected the car said it has a severely rusted front sub-frame (the part that holds the drive-train in place) and looks like it sat in water a long time. He said the car will be unsafe to drive in a year or two, and will cost thousands to repair during the life of the six year loan.
A reputable dealer would not sell a car like this. Scott Butz, the Used Car Manager, made it clear that this dealership only cares that a used car is "safe" (whatever that means) at the time of sale. Any competent mechanic would know this was not the quality of car you would expect from a franchised dealer.
Toyota of Grand Rapids made their profit on this deal, and could care less that they saddled my daughter with a car that will cost thousands to repair and may be a safety hazard. Yes, we were wrong in not having an independent pre-purchase inspection done. But they were also wrong in foisting this lemon on my daughter.

Bought new 4 runner in December of 2018 few weeks ago with all the snow had to use 4 wheel drive it clunked when it was engaged and at one point would not come out of 4 low had 2019 was told by Service manager Matt in service a lot of customers have said same thing, did not want to have tech even look at it I did finally get a tech to drive around parking lot he heard it klunk twice he also heard the gears grinder then stopped took out owners manual I said what you doing he said reading on how th shift it this was a trained tech he pulled it inside Matt gave me toyota corporate phone number told me to call them and see what they say I then went to rod the new car sales manager was basically told same thing but he said do you want a car wash pass for your trouble can not believe the way I was treated waiting on corporate to call me back
