My husband and I were doing research on a new car. We came in on a weekend and sat down with Andrew Uffenheimer, in sales to discuss the Acura RDX 2019. Andrew was so personable and did not pressure us into anything that day and answered all our questions. We came in again the following weekend to test drive the car and again Andrew did not pressure us into leasing that day and again answered all my follow up questions. After some time we decided to lease our car that same day because of the great deal Andrew was able to get us, and could not have had a better experience from start to finish. Dimitry was also great in ensuring we went through all our paperwork that day to take the car on the spot. This is my first Acura and I love it! 2018 MDX - Georgette Pelletterie
This is my third purchase through Acura of Rochester and all three experiences have been accommodating and a pleasure dealing with the dealership and sales person. I live over an hour from the dealership and continue to patronize this particular dealership due to the professionalism that I have received from each and every sales person. They each in their own way have made my experience with their dealership memorable and pleasant. Was looking for a new MDX a few years ago.. Worked with sales guy john schepp who was initially helpful but then was not providing answers / sufficient clarification regarding specific questions on the lease numbers etc and started getting upset with the questions & started acting rudely and unprofessionally. I walked away. Would not recommend.
Shady repair service - Jojo
I brought my 2008 Acura Rl in for service around Nov of last year(2017). Vehicle had a little over 31;000 miles on the odometer. To be clear the service center is on Merrick rd. In LI. I had a heavy vibration within the braking system. The diagnosis was worn and warped brake pads and rotors on all 4 corners. I was surprised, thought maybe front rotors were worn. The price of this service was a wooping $1700! They told me that the brake pads were more expensive because they were Bremen pads. Rotors were from Acura. After service was complete I drove home which is only about 10 miles max and vehicle. Felt fine. So that you can completely understand my perspective you have to understand that I have 2 other vehicles that are driven daily by me and my wife to work. Only drive the Acura when going away or to special events. With that said I drove the for short distances over the next couple of months on and off. Soon I began to feel a slight vibration in the braking system again. Didn’t pay it a lot of attention because it would be impossible to have a brake problem after $1700 in service and driving less tha5 a thousand miles since service. Car sat up for a while and about 4 months later we took a trip to Atlantic City. This is about 2 1/2 hour ride. During this trip innoticed that the vibration in the braking system was back. Took another trip to Jersey in August of this year and stopped at Acura dealership of Denville in which I actually purchased this vehicle. Asked for an oil change and asked them to check the braking system. Mileage on car at this point is approximately 33,000. Diagnoses was front rotors were warped, I was in disbelief. I am not and aggressive driver and this car sits in my driveway under a car cover for weeks at a time without being driven. Now we’re ill take responsibility is the fact that during the first sign of brake issues I should of returned vehicle and maybe it would of been in the range of the warran. Which was only 3-4 months or 3000-4000 miles. I was clearly under the mileage but a year late in terms of months. My main issue is how is this possible. Brand new rotors and brake pads on all 4 corners , less than 3000 miles since service and rotors are warped. Doesn’t make since. My opinion is they never replaced rotors, It’s the only thing that makes since. I would never take my vehicle to the Merrick rd service center again. $1700 problem still exist. Something shady has occurred in there service center. Wonder if anyone else had a similar issue.

Salesperson offered a price which was accepted. Only to have the sales manager say we couldn’t do that and tried to scrape $300. No integrity.
Don't buy this car - Sad buyer
Don't buy this car! I drove a total of 12hrs and missed work to be very let down. This all came after I'd settled on the price and signed all the paperwork. What was most upsetting was this car was advertised as new, but the whole passenger side had 1000 paint chips from rear fender, through rear door, passenger door to front fender. Worst of all, no one bothered to tell me about it and they thought I would just walk out the door with this car as is. They also acted like they never saw it!
I think this was just a shady deal and if I hadn't noticed, they would have gotten away with it. TERRIBLE
WORST CAR EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE - Amanda Palmieri
I returned my leased Acura to the nearby Buick Dealership (since I was leasing with them) and filled out paperwork that they would return to Acura of Bedford. Make a VERY long story short, they did the previous day. Acura of Bedford "lost" my car on a lot and it sat there for MONTHS without me knowing. It was reported to credit bureau's that I did not return the car. This has completely ruined my life for the past few months as I was in the process of getting a mortgage. It is STILL NOT FIXED!!! I understand that mistakes happen however the most disgusting part was how Acura of Bedford handled this issue. They hung up on me, told me "get over it," refused to call me back, and basically made it out to be my problem because they didn't want to deal with it. I have been distraught for months as I have to sort this out on my own when it was 100% their fault for misplacing my car. I have never felt like being a woman made a difference until I dealt with these men (who treated my fiance very differently). I also have never taken the time to write a review on a car, restaurant, ANYTHING, however the public should be aware that this dealership ruined my credit and chances of getting a mortgage until it's settled WHEN IT WAS THEIR ERROR FOR "MISPLACING" MY CAR FOR MONTHS. Stay away!
PS I also asked to talk to managers but the desk staff must have been warned not to transfer me because they were somehow "unavailable" for a month straight.
