I drive a 2020 Sportage, leased, and I bring the car to the Raleigh location for 4 month check-ups. My experience today was excellent - I was greeted immediately by Mike & a service team member. Mike prepared the paperwork for oil change, tire rotation, and annual state inspection. It was a quick, cordial, professional hand-off of the car with literally no waiting. I told Mike what time I would need the car, left the car in his hands, and left with a friend to run some errands. I returned at the agreed-upon time, the job was completed, state inspection done, (Mike even electronically filed it with the state...no worries) and the car was beautifully washed & shining in the sun. Again, there was no wait - I paid the very reasonable bill and Mike walked me out. I am happy to say I'll return to the Fred Anderson KIA SERVICE DEPARTMENT, Raleigh, throughout the term of the lease to ensure the car will get the very best care. Thank you, Mike & Mike's team. I recently bought a Kia Sorento out of state before moving to NC. I had a few problems with it and issues getting an honest answer from other Kia locations. Once I moved to NC my neighbor referred me to Kia of Gastonia. Once I got there I was greeted by Morris the service manager. Morris was legitimately concerned about the issues I had been having and assured me he would personally ensure my vehicle was taken care of. Turns out I had an electrical short from a wire that was worn down and it took them some effort to find it. After my vehicle was serviced by Morris and his team, I have had no problems. Those guys are highly professional and they truly care. As long as I have this vehicle I will continue taking it to Kia of Gastonia because I know it will be done right and I won't get the run around like I seemed to get at other dealerships where I didn't actually purchase the vehicle. If you live in the area I urge you to go see Morris and his team because they are first class!

This week I decided to give them another try, since one of the things I needed was a new radio and I wanted the factory one. Josh and Danny gave me great service, they have won my business back. I have a Kia and Chevy, and they are able to service them both for me as Gilbert is a Chevy tech and always does a great job also.

The incompetence of this dealership is scary. Where do I start? So, there was a recall on my car (well the 4th recall in this car since 2014) and I brought it in to have it inspected late 2019. Everything came back clear and I was relieved. The recall was so bad that I had 2 friends have the recall and they must replace the engine. Fast forward to two weeks ago. My engine blows up…surprise this dealer missed the recall in my car. After 2 days of no car, they get me a rental. 2 days later they get the replacement approved.
I mention to them that over the years I have brought the car in (4 times) for a popping noise in the frontend. He says they looked at it and it is a tie rod and strut had gone bad. I mention that I have brought this car in several times and they said there is nothing in their system and that it would not be covered. They even gave me rental cars each time I brought it in. I even had them check the car out when they inspected it for the recall…no notes in the system. The old service manager that I worked with over the year (who was awesome) is no longer there. Kia is a terrible brand and this dealer does not help…

ALERT: Buyer beware. KIA is all well and good until you have an issue, then they do everything they can to avoid fixing it, even if it's under warranty. Case in point. My spouse is driving one of their cars, the car is burning oil. We take the car to KIA, what do they do?? They put some oil in it then tell us that they will come "pick us up if it breaks down." Great. Just what a grandmother needs to hear. The oil keeps going low, the they keep just putting more oil in it. Finally the darn thing starts making awful noises, so bad that we are afraid to drive it. We call the heroes at KIA and are told that they will charge us for the tow. Wow! What about this ten year warranty, what about the recall on the engine (that we weren't told about??) The last genius we talked to asked us "what kind of sound it was making?" Where do they find these guys? Anyway, I'm just telling you our experience. You can make your own decision if you want to have your family member stranded while they have one of their salesmen diagnose the mechanical issue over the phone.

I was made to wait two weeks for my car to be fix because of personal reasons of one of their employees (who wasn't even able to finish my car and missed to be able to fix my car. Customer should have go in a financial hardship in expenses because of situation of employees not able to make it to work to do their job. It is the company responsibility to cover for when an employee is not able to perform for personal reasons. I will not recommend anyone to get their car fix at this location.

Can’t speak for buying a car but I can definitely say the service department is a joke. Based on this event we will never buy a car here.
They had my car for over 2 months with no communication. Me or my wife would call about a once a week for an update and they’d tell us they needed to speak with their regional service manager about a noise issue from the right rear suspension. On and on this went, literally for 2 months. At some point they blamed the part they needed being on backorder. They made us pick up the car before hurricane Dorian for liability reasons and a week and a half later called to say this magical part had arrived. Turns out it was a shock and a spring. The most basic of suspension components. It took almost 3 months to decide to replace those parts? Seriously? I pick it up feeling hopeful that this frustrating saga is over with and the issue is fixed. Nope. Worse than before. Go back by and Jay (who is a nice guy) promises me they’ll get it taken care of. I send a video of the noise issue plain as day. I wait over a week and call back in on a Monday after once again having heard nothing from them. Jay tells me I need to speak with the service manager, Jennifer, but she’s at lunch and he’ll have her call me back. Call
back Friday afternoon (exactly two weeks later) and speak with him. He puts me on hold to go find her. Comes back and says “I know we both heard the sound in the video, but she can’t hear it.” Basically, she won’t even show me the decency of taking my call. I’ve been beyond patient up until this point with their many shortcomings. He asks me to bring it back in and go for a ride along with both the tech and her. I’m now 3 months in to this issue and 2.5 months without the car. I have no more patience left for them and their inability to replicate the noise, when I can replicate it with ease every single day. The video I was courteous enough to record demonstrated the sound over and over again in succession. I’m now going to Kia corporate and will be working with the mid-Atlantic rep to pursue a resolution as well as file a warranty repair failure complaint against Kia of NB.

Its overall a great place to buy from. I would have Iiked to have more of a choice of color and be able to pick from a few instead of just one. I am not a fan of silver and I wanted a blue or red forte. It is a very nice car inside and out but its difficult to update the system. Next time I want to be able to pick from more then one color and car. The service department are friendly and very helpful. It would be a 5 star if I had a choice of more cars and colors and even trim line.

I have been at Hendrick Kia on 31 Dec2020 with my RECOMMENDING 4 TIRES, ALIGNMENT AND FUEL SERVICE TO BE COMPLETE. They have done these services very well but the blinking check engine indicator CAN DO ANYTHING because of the back order part. As I trust Scott and drive in the rainy day, I found out that my car started to lost power and then I back to dealer immediately. The lady was at the front desk said that we have to wait for the part and it was safe to drive.
