Very crooked operation. - jrommel01
Very crooked operation. Took my Jeep Liberty in with a check engine issue. Told I needed to approve a minimum $150 diagnostic fee which I approved. Got the vehicle back with service description of drove 6 miles don't see issue.
I am shocked that this would be considered a diagnostic procedure. Maybe 15 minutes. No checking components or error logs just a quick drive that after tax and fees cost almost $200.
To top off this scam job the check engine light was on again before I reached the freeway less than a mild away. The check engine light has yet to clear and probably won't as the issue was not resolved.
The big kicker is this vehicle was sold with a Maxcare contract that covers the vehicle for as long as I own and register the auto. Jeep should be ashamed to allow such practices to take place tarnishing the products good name. Seems the contract is only as good as the dealer that refuses to honor the program!
