Our experience with Caleb today was amazing. He was polite and friendly and knowledgeable about the cars. We were a little apprehensive with the idea that he was in the backseat when we took the car for a test drive but at the end of the day even that turned out to be a good experience because he did not complain about my driving just because I like to drive maybe a little bit fast but only a little bit but always within the law of course haha lol. When we got back into his office we looked at one other vehicle we weren't really as impressed and it was a little bit older. Caleb then said okay guys so which one are you taking today and he laughed and smiled and we said you know what my wife and I want to talk about this you go in and we'll come in in 5 minutes after we talk. He laughed and smiled and said if you don't take this one you're going to take the other one right and he laughed he's like because that wasn't to know. We ultimately did go ahead and buy it. Once again the entire process from Caleb was great. Now they did bring in a salesperson a sales manager to go over warranty and to go over some extra add-on that was $1,000 to to spray the body and weather protected and all this kind of stuff. We opted out of that because we didn't want any of that I would rather have a good extended warranty. But Caleb knew about the warranties just like he knew everything about the cars. The nice thing is is that every time the sales manager got up and left we were stuck there waiting and waiting and waiting. I made it very clear to everybody that I was becoming impatient because this process was really quite slow. Caleb much to my surprise he recognized my frustration and so he hung with me and made small talk with me for almost an hour while we waited for all the paperwork to be done by the dealership and all the rest. A lot of sales guys would have just said thank you very much turned me over to the next guy and then off they go. But not Caleb instead he was very entertaining and he had a lot to say and we had a great conversation while we waited. At the end of the day I would recommend anybody to Caleb he was a great sales guy. And you should see his work ethic this poor kid is putting in 12 hour days 6 days a week because he's competitive and he really wants to make a name for himself. But you can tell that he's using his time wisely because he understands the features of these cars he knows one car from the other and what they have and what they don't and how to use them and how to turn stuff on and turn stuff off he literally answered every question I had. So I was pleasantly surprised there because he made it effortless for us. So one more thing for Caleb kudos to him he got us up from 14 Grand to almost 21 Grand and I can't say that very many salespeople would be able to do that. This is a young kid who's trying to make a name for himself he's a hard worker and I would recommend him to anybody. Feedback for the dealership you just have to find a way to speed up the process. When a customer agrees to buy something you just cannot make them wait an hour or an hour and a half before they get the keys to drive home. You have got to get them in and out that door in under a half an hour. I really don't care how busy you are although you didn't appear to be that busy today but I don't care how busy you are that's why you have more than one sales manager. So get your customers in take them for a ride show them the vehicles help them understand why they need the vehicles make the sale and get them out of there with smiles on their faces but man when you start talking about 90 minutes or 2 hours you know what people are getting frustrated they're watching their watches they want to go home they're seeing it getting darker you get my drift. All right so Russ Darrow streamline your process Caleb you keep working and I'll refer anybody to you in a heartbeat thank you for what you did although I am still mad that I spent $10,000 more
