I live in Middle Tennessee and have been searching for a 2-door Heritage Limited Ford Bronco. Given my location and the need to trade in my vehicle, I knew this would not be a simple process, especially with dealerships potentially several hundred miles away. Currently, there are less than 30 brand new Bronco Heritage Limited models listed online nationwide. With websites like cars.com providing fairly transparent pricing, making a decision doesn't always come down to the best price. Before contacting Court Street Ford, I reached out to five or six dealerships within a 400-mile radius. Unfortunately, I encountered deceptive pricing, poor communication, and several dealerships unwilling to deliver. However, when I contacted Court Street Ford, Kennedi quickly reached out to me. She was attentive, courteous, and eager to hear what I wanted. Unlike others, she didn’t dismiss my inquiries and seemed genuinely excited to work with me. I was beginning to become overwhelmed by the number of texts, calls, and emails I was receiving from all of these dealerships and I almost gave up on the purchase altogether. A couple of days later, Kennedi contacted me again and expressed her eagerness to assist me. She explained their delivery process in a way that made perfect sense, and they made a fair offer. It felt like we reached a deal in no time. What’s remarkable is that the next day, less than 24 hours after the purchase, they delivered my new Bronco—350 miles to my doorstep. We signed some paperwork, and they drove my trade-in home. I can’t emphasize enough how seamless and pleasant this entire car-buying experience has been. I have purchased four or five Fords in my life, most within five miles of my home, but this was my first true five-star experience.

The best car buying experience my husband or I have ever had! We drove nearly 4 hours one way to get our car from them, because the price was the best we had seen anywhere. I was worried/hesitant that the price would be competitive, but that they would make up for it with a bunch of add-on fees at the end, as I have seen done at many other dealers. I was so pleased to find out that was not the case at all! Bert was very friendly and helpful. Never once pushy, and completely transparent. If you reach out to them, make sure you request Bert! We arrived at 12:30, and were driving off the lot in our new car just before 3pm. You can’t beat that!

Worked with David Evans, who is a true gentleman and truly cares about his customers. Anthony Adams was very helpful locating the vehicle I wished to purchase. Went to another dealer first who only wanted to make money and not earn my business. When I went to Gerald, they worked to get my business and earn my trust. They did find the vehicle I wanted and gave me a courtesy vehicle until they could pick up my car and drop it off at my home. I have to say it was a pleasant experience, which you don't find at very many dealers. Very friendly and trustworthy. I would refer anyone looking for a pleasant car buying experience to give them your business. I would not go anywhere else for a vehicle after this.

I have a 2015 Kia Sportage. - Dee Meyers

I have a 2015 Kia Sportage. I realize my car is 10 years old and it has a high mileage on it, but my car was running perfectly fine until I received an error message through my stereo stating that there was an engine problem detected, and that I needed to take it to the nearest Kia dealership for service. I kept up with the maintenance and have always had my car serviced at the dealership, thus the reason why I’ have been able to maintain it for 10 years. I took my car to Gerald Kia in Matteson for them to look at it. They told me they found the error code P0014. When they cleared the error they told me that they could not find any other errors. The service department person (Pete) told me he could not guarantee that the error would not surface again, but from what they could see there was nothing wrong with the car. Before I made it home, the error and message came back. I brought my car back to the dealership to have it repaired .They kept my vehicle overnight. I had to call to see what was the update for my car. In Petes own words “how deep down the rabbit hole do you want to go? “Pete told me that they would have to take my engine apart. That would be at least 10 hours of labor. My camshaft was broken and possibly other items based on this P0014 code. I was looking at a repair bill somewhere between $2500-$3000. I told Pete I would pick up my car and not to do any work. I did some investigating online regarding that code as well as consulting with other mechanics. The first solution was to flush my engine and get a oil change . If that did not work the second solution would be to replace the intake and exhaust solenoid valve on my engine, neither of which require my engine to be taken apart. Altogether parts and labor for that would be $300. The dealership wanted to scam me out of $3000 or Bamboozled me into buying a new car. I took my car and had the engine flushed and an oil change. The problem has resolved. The service department person saw a woman and automatically assumed that I was gullible enough to say here’s $3000 for please sell me a new car.. Gerald Kia wanted to scam me. I’m glad I did my due diligence and research. I miss the days of Hawkinson Kia. The professionalism and the service was way better than Gerald Kia. Do not take your car there for service. They don’t even wash your car when you have your car serviced. Is it too much to ask for professionalism honesty and customer service?

My 2022 Ford Raptor purchase with Dan Bard at Smith Ford of Lowell was an exceptional experience! Dan is a very straightforward, honest, and up front guy and I have only great things to say about him and this dealership. The buying experience was top notch, Dan was very patient with me coming from out of town, the pricing and selection was far better than everyone else nearby, and the entire process was seamless. Dan even had appreciation for the great condition of a ten year old truck I traded in and the trade in value I was given was significantly higher than three other dealerships I had spoken to recently. I can't emphasize how refreshing it was to deal with a dealership that didn't play games or hide anything. Dan is a great guy and called this morning, a couple months after purchase now, to check in and see how the truck was working out and how we were doing. Title affidavits and processing paperwork arrived in my mailbox just a few days after purchase as well. This small town dealership still has the customer service many of us have known but watched fade away elsewhere. Thanks again Dan and everyone else at Smith Ford who handled this transaction. My salesman, Tony Malzone is the best car salesman I have ever done business with. He is no longer a salesman. but my friend. I spent 2 days with him. He made sure everything was taken of for me. I also like doing business with the service department. I may just go to the dealer to say Hi to everyone I have gotten to know. Tony also gets you talking with other customers. The day I bought my car he had 3 customers. Handled all of us, and I made friends with one of his other customers, it made waiting go so much faster. The second day I had to finish up some last minute things, and he had another couple, Tony got us talking with each other such a pleasant experience.

Please take a mechanic with you if you are buying a used car from this place. Almost a year ago I purchased a Buick from Hove Nissan/Buick. I had sa it advertised on Carfax and other car sites and it looked good in photos and the specs xxx a used car were great. It was A 1 owner vehicle . It was advertised as a cream puff. I followed this car for over a week on different sites hoping for a price reduction and it never came. So, 1 early Monday morning I drive 50 plus miles from my home in Chicago to see this car. When I get to the dealer it wasn't on the lot or any where else to be found . The salesman and sales manager finally say that they had loaned it ti a customer for the weekend while he got an oil change and that the car would be back in 2 days. I went shopping elsewhere for a car and then 5 hours later Hove Nissan/Buick calls to say that the car is back. I rush back from the city to look as this car . As the salesman drives it out of the garage it glowed and look really nice. I popped the hood and just looked at it and it looked dirty and not detailed or prepped for sales (Most dealers will at least clean the engine bay to make the car more attractive) I noticed right away that the oil filter did not look new and was dusty looking. I overlooked that TEST DROVE IT FOR 25 MINUTES and it drove a rode very nice , except the power drivers seat was stuck in 1 positioned . i ASKE THAT THEY RECITY THAT AND THEY first said they could not and I said I could not purchase it that way so the fixed it. 25 days later I just happen to check the oil as and found that it was really almost none in the engine. I rushed to the nearest fast oil change location to get this car lubed. I did just in time , before the motor would cease. I call the dealer and they said that they had changed it before they sold it . That was a EF'ing lie. The worst thing about buying this car from Hove nissan is that they were stern and not willing to budge not even a penny in the advertised price, which happen to be a pandemic , overccharged mark-up price. They acted if this car was just trhe best example of a used car in the whole wide world and it was far from it. I have had problems that needed to be fixed but I was able to do it rather cheaply compared to what the service shop would charge. I guess I am mostly responsible for this not so wise purchase because i rushed it because I needed a car right away. I am resonsible to because I purchased a car that had nearly 100 k miles on it(It was advertised with 98k but when i WENT TO TEST DRIVE IT WAS 100k AND THEY DID NOT GIVE A REDUCTION ALLOWANCE FOR THE OVBER MILAGE) I did not bother taking the car back for warranty because I was able to catch the major LOW OIL problem before it became catastrophic. The car looked better than it actually was, I have got t in tip top shape though , but for the money I apid for it it should have been perfect I would not ever buy a car from HOVE NISSAN /BUICK EVER AGAIN IN LIFE AND HIGHLY SUGGEST THAT YOU STEER CLEAR OF THAT DEALERSHIP

Saw a car I was interested in that was priced very well so i gave them a call. We live about 3 hours away and they were extremely considerate of that. They gave me a detailed description of the vehicle and sent me additional photos. I did a google search on them and went through numerous reviews of the business and most of them were stellar. But then I saw the previous reviews on here and had some apprehension in regards to buying a car from them. When I brought up these reviews they were very honest and straightforward about them specifically. They asked me to give them a chance to prove that the reviews weren't true and they went out of their way to earn my business. Let me honestly tell you that I'm happy that I did. I've owned my own business for 30+ years and understand that in this day and age the internet can be a great tool for both customers and businesses. But it definitely has its drawbacks, as I discussed with their general manager. Most satisfied customers don't get on websites to leave businesses great reviews, but dissatisfied and disgruntled customers will use it as a tool to get what they want out of a business. I know I could of been one of the potential customers that read one of their negative reviews and never even bothered to give them a chance. Knowing this I came on this site to talk about my experience and to say that I couldn't be happier with my experience dealing with them. From the very start, Pete and his brother lied to us (we found out later). When we first got there we asked him how long they had the car? They said, about a month. We asked if they had any maintenance papers on it or and papers when they got it from their own look over. They told us no. Then they wouldn’t let us take it on a test drive over 30 miles an hour, it didn’t even give us enough time to see if the heat worked. But he said it did. We fell in love with the car, it was a 2002 black Chevy camero… I had an 85 growing up. We trusted them that the car was in good condition so we bought it. We only drove it around the neighborhood of new lenox a few time. On the 10th day we decide to show my parents and take it on the expressway… 15-20 min into the ride we heard noises and started to overheat. We barely got it to the shoulder on the ramp of 80 going onto 57 heading north. It started smoking, so we got out of the car. Now mind you it was cold and starting to get dark. Once no smoke was coming out we got back in. Then the battery died so we had no Hazards… now we r sitting in a black camero at night on a curve of an expressway ramp. My husband called Pete to tell him and he said well I’m not paying for that! My husband was told the tow truck was on its was and then it got delayed so he came with his car and sat behind us with blinkers on. Fast forward to when we get car to shop, that Pete told us to go to… the mechanics told us Pete has had that car in there 2 times and he told Pete what the problems were, he even had the receipts to show us, that’s said new repairs that need to be worked on and the previous problems listed again. This is where we learned they had the car 4 months. The mechanic said Pete does this all the time, and he’s getting sick of it. If he ever fixes anything it’s just a bandaid, he never fixes the problems. He does that so it will hold a month or so and then it will break and cost the customer the money. The mechanic said he was gonna tell Pete not to use him anymore because he doesn’t like what Pete’s doing. When we told Pete something bigger is wrong and your gonna have to fix it (it was under the 15 day period where used car dealers have to either fix problem or buy car back). He said “I’ll fight you on that!”. The worst part it was for my sons Birthday and all he got was a broken car. In conclusion, DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP FOR THE SAFTY OF YOUR FAMILY! They sell cars that are for sure gonna break down soon after u buy it, and u never know where or when that will be. Please think of you and your families SAFTY!
