Great dealership overall! I would say the service was immaculate. Hamza was incredible, extremely kind & patient. He handled transactional hiccups with great finesse. Also went above and beyond post-service with any issues/queries we had regarding the vehicle. The average person would have gotten frustrated but he handled himself with grace. 100/10 would recommend. Everyone we came across handled themselves with tremendous levels of professionalism, grace, and genuineness. It's more common than not to have a bad experience at dealerships. I am glad that wasn't the case. I would come back here for the service alone!

I couldn’t say enough good things about this dealership—my experience was outstanding from start to finish! A huge shoutout to Bre, who stayed consistent, supportive, and professional throughout the entire process, even when I ran into a few roadblocks. She always followed up promptly and worked hard to make sure I received the most competitive offer. I also want to thank the manager on staff for stepping in and working with me, as well as the finance department, who I know I probably gave a bit of stress—but in the end, they secured me a great monthly rate that fit my budget. After having a bad experience with a previous dealership, I came in a little hesitant, but this team completely restored my faith in Honda. I’ll absolutely be returning here when it’s time for my next upgrade!

My car, with a flat tire, was towed to SB Honda late on a Saturday afternoon. I was distraught from being caught in Virginia with no easy way back to my home across the river in Maryland, but I chose to go to there because the business was open and my familiar places in Maryland were not. Jadon could not have been more welcoming and gave me immediate confidence that the repair would be well done. When he called me the next day to say the car would be ready on Monday (because a replacement tire was not immediately available) I asked him if the upcoming periodic service job could be done as well. No problem. When I returned to pick up the car the tire had been changed, service performed, and the car had been washed also. Jadon went over all the service details with me. I greatly appreciate the personal attention, with a smile, that he gave me. Another plus: SB offers shuttle service to the local Metro station, about 1.5 miles away. Thank you!

Do NOT go to O’Donnell Honda in Ellicott City. My AC was not blowing out cold air. They charged me $650 to assess my car. They don’t indicate any hourly labor rate on the invoice. And, after paying $650 for the assessment, they have indicated it will be an additional $698 plus tax to install the AC condenser. Save yourselves some money and headache - go some place else.

Poor Service and Lack of Accountability I brought my 2020 Honda Accord Sport to Pohanka Honda in April 2025 for a major service that included a water pump and drive belt replacement. The invoice incorrectly listed a timing belt replacement—something my car doesn’t even have—which immediately raised concerns about the accuracy of their service documentation. Within a month of the visit, my car began making a loud whining sound. By August, the issue worsened during a trip to Georgia. A certified Honda dealership in Union City diagnosed the problem as a failed drive belt tensioner, a part that should have been inspected—or at least flagged—during my April service. Their technicians confirmed the failure was not sudden and could have been caught. When I called Pohanka Honda to seek answers, I was met with dismissive and unprofessional behavior from a staff member who even hung up on my representative and gave incorrect information about my car’s components. Despite clear documentation, they refused to take responsibility or offer reimbursement—even though I was billed for parts unrelated to my car and ended up paying out of pocket for an avoidable repair. If you value transparency, honesty, and thorough service, I strongly urge you to look elsewhere. Trust matters when servicing your vehicle—and unfortunately, I no longer have that trust in this dealership.

Disappointing and Untrustworthy Service at Herson’s Honda – Avoid This Dealership! I am extremely frustrated with my experience at Herson’s Honda in Rockville, MD. On December 28, 2024, I brought my car in to have a clicking sound checked out coming from the dashboard. Instead of addressing the actual issue, they recommended replacing all four tires, claiming the tread was low. However, only one tire had 3/32 of tread left. Why didn’t they just replace the two tires that were actually worn out? This seemed like a blatant attempt to upsell unnecessary services and get me to spend more money than necessary. But that’s not all. They also suggested replacing several other parts, including the timing belt, tensioner, water pump, drive belt, air intake tube, and rear HVAC motor—a total cost of $6,481.52. Looking back, I can’t help but question whether these repairs were truly needed, or if they were simply trying to inflate the bill. The real frustration came two months later. After driving only 2,064 miles, the hood wouldn’t open to allow me to add washer fluid. Given that I had just spent hours/days with them in December addressing various wear-and-tear items, it's hard to believe they didn't notice the supposedly deteriorating hood latch at that time. Instead, they had to break my grill to fix the latch and then charged me an additional $1,499.90 for their mistake. This was completely ridiculous. To make matters worse, when we questioned them, we were willing to pay for the parts but refused to pay for labor. We strongly believe that the hood latch issue should have been identified during the service in December. Furthermore, since they were the last ones to open and close the hood, it raises the question—did they accidentally break the latch during their work? Despite this, they refused to deduct the $361 labor cost. We believe they should have covered the entire cost, as it was their failure to catch the problem in the first place. At this point, I have zero trust in the mechanics, Service Advisor, or Service Manager at Herson’s Honda. It feels like they are more interested in taking your money than in providing honest, quality service. I would strongly advise anyone to avoid this dealership. The lack of professionalism, honesty, and customer care was appalling. Save yourself the frustration and go elsewhere for your car repairs.

My Salesman Marcus Humes is one of the best salesman in all of Annapolis regardless of Dealership! Marcus contacted me, made the appointment on Monday and he had my White Accord Sport L Hybrid ready to go the next day! Marcus was very honest and up front about having to do the process when it came to selling the vehicle and I had to work that night so I tried to rush him along but he was calm and cool. The test drive went very well and I was shocked at how fast and quiet the Accord drove on the highway! I then met Steve Chase and we continued to negotiate the price of the car. This is what must be done on both sides, you should never go into a dealership to try to steal a vehicle, meet in the middle so that both parties win! I then went into the finance department and I initially tried to play cheap like most of us car buyers do and I ended up buying the most comprehensive warranty that I ever bought in my car buying history. But I will tell you this, I have nothing to worry about regarding any part of that car for the next 12 years and 110K miles! I then met the Dealership Owner who tied it all up and made me feel like family. I was so impressed with that experience that I would return that same week on Friday and buy another car for my Son from the Honda of Annapolis dealership with only one mile on it. I will write another review on how that buying experience went.

I Leased a 2022 Honda Accord last year from Apple Honda of Hanover because I gave my leased Subaru Outback to my daughter for school. My Honda was Great on gas. But I always wanted a truck again. Called up Sang to see if any Ridgeline were available in white. No success but he gave me some great option on other colors. I went (Black) and I'm glad I did! Beautiful color, Wonderful Price, & Wonderful Customer Service from everyone and yes, I leased the Ridgeline also. And guess where I will be going once this lease is up.
