Quick response to email inquiry & fast doc signing. - liveonboca
Last Friday morning, November 30, 2018, I found the vehicle that I wanted on their website after browsing their new inventory. I sent them an email through their website. After going back and forth in the emails and a telephone call from the manager, we could not come to an agreement. More emails trying to get me to come in. Finally, I received a response via email with an acceptable purchase amount and a solid figure due at signing. I got there about 7PM. It was dark so the vehicle was pulled into the showroom. Test drives done, iPhone connected, paperwork signed and I was out by 8:30. Not bad for the last day of the month. I recommend this dealership, but know the vehicle you want and do your homework first before going in.

Very helpful people - Barb H
Helpful, patient, courteous and pleasant. From the salesman, to the f\purchase/registration, to ordering the car, and taking delivery. I just can't say enough good things about them, even the Service writers and the clerks inside service.
Even when I returned a couple weeks later to have Justin help me answer some questions and then to service to have my rain guards put on, I still got smiles and hello's with good customer service and care.
I would definatley recommend Dealership and ask for Tim Gonzales

Best Purchase Experience EVER! - Rev. Joni
I purchased a 2019 Subaru Outback last November. I was anxious about financing a vehicle as I had not done it in years. The entire staff was so understanding and helpful. They treat you like family at this dealership. It was by far my best experience in a car dealership ever. Steven greeted me and took me for 3 different test rides, to make sure I got the model I wanted. He was very patient and new the product very well. I completed the deal with Csaba Nagy as Steven had a previous appointment he had to attend. Csaba was delightful and very helpful explaining to me in detail everything I needed to know about my new purchase! I cannot say enough about this dealership, their incredible product, and their commitment to their customers! Thanks Subaru Palm Springs!

We went to Subaru looking for a car for our daughter ended up we bought 2. We had Bobby as our salesman and he was the best! He took care of us and could put up with us, which believe me it’s a job to do. We loved PJ that did the financial part, she was so sweet and explained everything! We couldn’t be happier! Best experience ever!! Go to Sangera Bakersfield you will always go back!

I had very good experiences purchasing my new Subaru Forester. I especially like to thank Matt Smith and Justin Smith, who were most helpful and supportive. Even after my purchase they were willing to help me get acquainted with the new features.
A No Pressure, No B.S. experience - jazzthecat
I bought a new used car from Gold Rush Subaru just yesterday. I emailed several Subaru dealers beforehand, telling them that I didn't want a hassle, didn't want to mess around, just offer me a fair price on the exact car I'm asking about. Only Gold Rush Subaru responded promptly with a very fair quote and no pressure or bs.
When I got there, the sales manager said they had another car in stock that I might be interested in. I was suspicious that this was a whole bait and switch, but it actually was a better car for me at a better price!
I am so grateful that they were straightforward and more than fair with me, as I really really wanted to skip pressure or sales pitches of any kind. I would definitely recommend this dealership.
Pretty easy. - Deb's Subaru
I really liked shopping from the internet, no pressure at all. And I can take all the time in the world to go through the cars. At first, I really stumble through it and Robert Papandrea hung in there with me, and got me through. I was uncomfortable trying to choose the right car for myself. But now after talking to Robert Papandrea and Glen Scott, and JP Amaro, I am very happy, comfortable and really like my new car.
Expert Client Advisor - Caturegli,Julie 1
We went to Subaru Orange Coast with the intention of test driving a vehicle we had our eye on. We had never driven a Subaru before but had loved all the reviews on this vehicle. The information that Client Advisor, Cris Baker gave us was much more than we would have discovered on the internet. He is very patient and kind but most importantly an expert on this vehicle, he answered every question we had and allowed us to meticulously check out every inch of the vehicle. His knowledge and expertise put us at ease and afforded us the opportunity to really make the decision for purchase with NO PRESSURE! He was more like a friend not a salesperson. After we purchased the vehicle he sat in the car with us to help us input our device pairing and showed us how to access sources on the computer screen. He made sure we were very comfortable in using the no-key button start the engine and necessary items needed to have the vehicle function, correctly. He informed us on every feature the car had to offer with expertise. Loved the experience he never once pressured us into buying the car. You Rock Cris!!!!!
Poor Diagnostic Services - tschlung
Initially, we were very impressed this dealership. We are on a LONG road trip, Our car had been overheating coming down the I-5 from Oregon in 100 degree + heat. We called while on the road and explained the situation and were told that though they were in the middle of a recall servicing back-log, they would look at our car first thing in the morning and let us know what they found to be the problem causing the overheating.
The next morning after arriving, they took down some notes about our car trouble situation, got our car in the back, and went right to work. HERE is where we ran into trouble. They decided to run two tests on the cooling system. First, they pressurized the cooling system to see if there were any leaks. They found none and told us it passed the pressure test with no problems. Then they conducted what is called a "block test" which checks for exhaust gas leaking into the cooling system, usually due to a failed head gasket(s). They came back to us and told us our car had failed this test, that we had significant exhaust gas content in our cooling fluids, and that from this result, they suspected at least one blown head gasket, possible two. They wouldn't know for sure, however, until they tore it down, and that they would need about two weeks to get it done. They informed us that it would cost far more than the car was worth ($5500.00 for the repair) and that they suggested purchasing another vehicle.
We were then put in touch with a sales rep for a new used car, and not feeling like we had many options, we explored this avenue of action. Eventually, unable to make a new car deal we both were happy with, we asked them to just finish putting our car back the way they found it, and we would be on our way
After talking to our Subaru mechanic back in Alaska, we decided to try and make it to a friend's house in San Francisco, and get a non-dealership mechanic to look at the cooling system for a second opinion. We made it to San Fran just fine, and had it in "Pat's Garage" the next morning. First he took the car out and drove it, getting it hot and up to engine temp. Then he put it on the rack and did his own pressure test. IT FAILED THIS TEST! It was found that we had a serious leak in a lower radiator hose that was hard to see and did not drip underneath due to its proximity to the heat of the engine block. So, while it is possible that the hose failed between Sacramento and San Francisco (82 miles),
we don't think it is likely due to the next test, the BLOCK TEST. It had failed this test at Maita Subaru in Sacramento, but it passed with flying colors at PAT's Garage, and no exhaust gases were detected in the coolant, so no blown head gasket was suspected. Pat's guys suggested a new set of hoses all around, a new radiator, and a new thermostat. All these parts were still the original factory parts and were in need of replacement. So, we went with that.
LONG STORY SHORT! We are now in New York, having driven across the Southwest states and Texas and all the way up the Appalachians to Rochester. The cooling system performed flawlessly. We have had NO ISSUES whatsoever!
So, to say the least, this situation reflects poorly on the Maita dealership, and I would be VERY careful of having service done at this location if I were advising friends in the area (which I am).
Harrasing attitude towards customers - faby90027
As someone who feels that they have been unfairly treated and incriminated, please do not do business with Glendale Subaru. I took my Subaru Forester for the 24k service and while performing the service I was told that the car had an oil leak that needed addressing. I made an appointment for this warranty service during which they replaced one component but still required another component being ordered to fully fix the car. I was then told that it was currently on order, that the car would still operate normally and that I would be contacted when the catch can service part was in for the return service. 2 full months elapsed, and I was never reached out by the dealer to bring the car in for service or that the part was received. During that time, I noticed a significant puddle of engine oil in my garage stop under my vehicle. Initially it was a small puddle, which got alarmingly bigger. When noticed the increase rate of the leak I scheduled the first available service slot which was in the afternoon.
Upon my arrival I requested for my service advisor Ross Hostetler, and I explained to him that I noticed an alarming puddle of oil under the car and that I was never reached out for the follow-up warranty service. Ross immediately took an incriminating and condescending attitude towards me. Letting me know that how did I expect for a service of that magnitude to be completed the same day. I told him that I was patiently waiting for a callback and I did not notice the puddle until then, but when noticed I scheduled the most immediate service. With an aggressive tone he kept instilling guilt on me for bringing in my car late in the day. I told him that if unable to do a same day repair I would leave the car in and give the dealership the proper time with the car to make the necessary repairs during that time as long as I received a loaner to use for my daily duties. He then kept his harassing tone making references that I scheduled service that late with the sole purpose of receiving a loaner vehicle. For the service completion my car was at the dealer for 8 full days until completion. Although this is a single experience and cannot be generalized, the fact that a service manager addresses a customer with that tone and attitude, makes me want to share my opinion so that other people making their Subaru related decision-making steer away from Glendale Subaru.
Great dealer and our sales person Marissa Anderson. - Norcalteddy
Outstanding sales support by Marissa and a great dealer that makes the entire process of buying a car painless. No entire experience of a car purchase at this dealer was very positive.
Bait-and-switch practices! Dishonest! Beware! - Danny T.
Bait-and-switch practices! Dishonest! Beware!
I called today their sales department and spoke with Aaron inquiring about a pre-owned vehicle asking if they can make it OTD price I was willing to pay. He responded that yes. I asked him again and again asking if he is sure providing him on his request with the Stock # and their internet price. He confirmed 3x all together, saying twice "yes, we can do that". After arriving at the dealership 45 minutes later and receptionist called Aaron telling him that I am there, suddenly she turned to me and said that he is on a lunch brake. Another salesman came who showed me the car, but when I was ready to pay telling him about the price and agreement I had with Aaron, he brought a paper with their regular price. I repeated that I had agreed upon price over the phone with Aaron. Then he "tried" to find some notes in the computer, then he "tried" to find Aaron, telling me at some point that "he is nowhere to find". After 15-20 minutes sitting and waiting there I heard that the receptionist started calling for Aaron on their PA system. She called again. Another 15-20 minutes passed. It looked to me like he was hiding. At the end, highly anticipated Mr. Aaron showed up denying his agreement, claiming (read lying) that he told me "we can discuss". Advice: if you call them, record the phone call, or ask them to send it in writing before heading to the dealership.
Good natured, accommodating and understanding - Js
Ben was a great to work with and was very accommodating of our needs. He was with us every step of the way. Finance went super quick and we got a good deal on what we wanted. We would definitely buy from Ben and Maida Subaru again.
Rip Off - Dealership Skipper
First of all the website scheduler doesn't work and neither does the email button (if there is a problem click this link). The prices are outrageous, I called once to the operator asking her if I could use a 10% of parts & labor, she pretty much laughed in ear and told me to bring it in when I paid the bill. I was so frustrated that when I went in to pay, I forgot to give the coupon....the bill was way of 4k so it would have really helped to have that taken off. When I realized what I did, I emailed and called and got absolutely no response. My last visit, I scheduled a pickup and was told that I could pick up anytime after xyz time to ensure car was put together. Yet when I arrived it wasn't ready.
Only time I will ever take a car to the dealership is when its under warranty, and even that is sketchy since conveniently most repairs don't fall under the warranty. I had another major repair and twice I left the dealership thinking my problems were fixed. They weren't yet, it wasn't the responsibility of the mechanics, it was because I have an older car and here is the bill for $165 (again). I could go on and on.....Please work on customer service....all the little things help (offer the coupon, Putnam is making enough money to honor this with no piece of paper)---take lessons from speedy oil and bed, bath and beyond.
Amazing Customer Service And Very Clean Lounge - Rubuscus
Probable the biggest Subaru dealership around I was very pleased with there stock of Ascents. If your looking to get a great deal on a reliable efficient vehicle then you should start here. My sales rep was really nice and genuine he even let me test drive it all the way home so I could show my wife and gave us a full tour of all the bells and whistles. They worked with me and my credit to ensure that I got the best deal possible. Hands down best dealer I’ve ever been too!
More issues after service - JCForester
Brought my 2017 Forester (still within warranty) in with warring lights all came on. Not only the dealer didn't know the reason why and went ahead and replace the battery, my window was not rolling down and left a ding on passenger door and side mirror hub which require q week to repair. After week having it back, just realize my seat memory doesn't work ( will not memorize my seating position). Need to take more time off work to bring the car in for service that was not complete.
Honest, friendly, not pushy sales team. - YHWRX
This dealership is very honest, I was shopping for the car I really wanted, while 2 other Subaru dealer try to lure me in with ridicules "offers", but this one is honest, straight to the point, friendly, and able to get to an agreement with me. Service department is friendly and helpful when I went in for new vehicle inspection after 1000 miles.
WOOO! - andreabelofsky
Had an awesome experience! Simple and straightforward. Debra made sure we were well taken cared off and that we knew what we were getting ourselves into. With good credit, I was able to get 0.9% APR through their dealership lenders!! WOOO!!!!
Wait a week or two for the next appointment. - SD-Soldier
Frank Subaru seems to be too busy. You have to wait 1-2 weeks for an appointment (even for an oil change). Don't wait there for the oil change unless you have 3+ hours.
I no longer ask for the free car wash during service, as they ALWAYS forget to do it.
Had to go there 8 times for same electrical problem. They never bothered to call Subaru Engineering. When I went to Kearny Mesa Subaru, they did call in the engineers and found the root causes of my issues.
The people are friendly enough at Frank Subaru service dept. However, the technical knowledge or expertise seems to be lacking.
To wait weeks just for very average service is not worth it anymore.
SELLER BEWARE - GT
Timmons provided me with a written quote to purchase my car for $1,975. When I returned 5 days later, they refused to honor their quote. They stated there were mechanical issues but they were not able to provide any details as to what those issues were. In the five days since receiving the quote, the car was not driven except to drive to the dealership. They said that could only offer me $1,500. I had turned down three other offers for $1,500 from dealers much closer to my home because I believed (wrongly) that Timmons would buy my car for $1,975. When I complained, their attitude became very cold and hostile. I was told that they did not need my car and that I could take it or leave it in regard to their revised offer. They then kept me waiting for 2.5 hours before completing the paperwork. I am a senior citizen and it would not surprise me if their standard MO is to take advantage of seniors.
