My experience with Dylan and the rest of the staff at the Plainfield Van Andel & Flikkema was excellent. They were very kind and courteous and willing to help me in any way. This was my first new car purchase and I really enjoyed the overall experience. that said I did have one complaint (which had nothing to do with the folks at VF) is that the order tracking or lack there of was slow to nonexistent. Dylan did his best to keep me up to date on the status of my Jeep. I wish there was a better system to allow me to follow the progress of the build of my Jeep.

I normally do not write reviews, but I have had such great interactions with the staff here that I felt like I needed to give them the credit they deserve. I came into the dealership knowing what car I had in mind after finding it on the internet. Ken, the car salesman greeted me with a smile and was very helpful. I was in the dealership that day for about 3 hours trying to figure out what I wanted to do about buying the vehicle or not. Ken not only answered all my questions, but took the time to interact with my 3 year old daughter who was with me as well. He was beyond patient with me, my daughter and my indecisiveness. Due to the emaculant condition of the used vehicle and Ken’s patient, professional and kind attitude, I ended up buying the vehicle. He was in contact with me 100% until I was able to drive off the lot with my purchase a week later. I would absolutely recommend this dealership to anyone looking to buy a used vehicle. oil change ok. wanted a car wash, was told possible in 10 or 15 minutes but only 1 person available to wash cars and he is busy. Also told because it might rain, we don't wash cars if looks like rain, I was quite taken aback by this and found sales manager, relayed this remark from service to him. To his credit he was not happy and went into service to remedy the situation and I was able to get a car wash.
I know that when a paying customer wants a wash, they get one. The person I spoke to on the wash was not the same service adviser that handled the oil change. Although I did get the wash, I was rather amazed at the way the service department did not want to accommodate my request, and did mention this to others. This is my second lease vehicle through Larry (in sales) and the fifth by my family. Not a good practice to pursue. Harley had no involvement in the car wash fiasco.

My Charger had to be towed into Dick Scott Sunday night. Early Monday morning the Service Manager, Jesse Shelton, called me and went over in great detail the repairs that would be needed, he also gave me an estimate on the total cost of the repairs and how long it would take. I couldn't believe that he had contacted me so soon, I approved the repairs and a little bit later Mr.Shelton called me again to let me know how the repairs were going and informed me that while my Charger was there he would also take care of the recall problem. I had totally forgotten about the recall and really appreciated the fact that he was going to take care of it while it was there. Mr. Shelton then asked me if I had a way into the dealership and I told him that no, I would have to find someone to give me a ride and that it could be a day or so before I could get to the dealership. He asked if I was home and I answered yes and he said that he would be sending the shuttle van out to pick me up. What could have been a terrible experience for me turned into an exemplary one, the repairs to my Charger were completed quickly, the recall problem was taken care of, and I didn't have to arrange for a ride to Dick Scott because the shuttle van was picking me up. This is, without a doubt, the most personable experience that I have ever had at a dealership. I am recommending to anyone that will listen to me that they should take their business to Dick Scott.

Well originally found the car on the internet. Cannot remember what site it was but that don't matter. What matters is a service that I received after contacting them. I was debating going look at it or not it was a hundred miles from me. And I happen to check the Carfax which stated it was done by a local car dealer which is only about 5 miles from me. Lou Ricci of Taylor. I was greeted by a gentleman named Joe sitting at the first desk. And I inquired about the car he says yeah that's a car from one of our sister dealerships cool I said. So we handled all the paperwork and transaction rate at the Taylor store. Between communication with Joe and Dwayne at Marlette Jeep and Chrysler dealer in Marlette Michigan. They managed to get me a fantastic deal into play. So I took my trade to Marlette Michigan which was a nice long Cruze about 2 hours. And met Dwayne there at 8:30 in the morning we finish the transaction. I got to drive my new ride home I cannot think of a better way to test drive a car. I purchased a used vehicle from this dealership not too long ago. I found it through an online site that has Preferred's inventory listed. I submitted my information online and I was contacted immediately and personally. The sales person was pretty laid back and didn't pressure me to come in so I inquired about the vehicle I was interested in and I was able to make an appointment that fit my schedule. I was greeted by several of the staff when I came in for my appointment and they were all very friendly. They didn't act like vultures like some other places. They also didn't stop being friendly when they knew I was there to see a specific person, which happens to be Ben Jaehnig. I liked that I could deal directly with a manager during the process. Everything went so smoothly for me and my wife. Granted, it took a while for financing and stuff because we don't have the absolute best of credit (some debt) but all in all it was pretty painless. I want to note, because the previous reviewer commented on this, that several times Ben reminded us that because it was a used "as is" vehicle we should have it inspected by our own mechanic. We did this. There were some issues but not enough that we wouldn't buy the car. So we knew going into it that it was on our heads if something went wrong. We had to sign papers saying that we were aware that it was "as is". I just want to note this since the previous reviewer failed to say this although I think most intelligent people could figure it out. Anyway, I think that this is a great dealership to work with. It's nice that they have several options for financing (Lori Kowalski is great) and that they don't look down on you if you don't have the best of credit. We needed a decent vehicle at a certain price and they were able to get it for us, all with genuine smiles on their faces. I think this dealership is great and when some of our debt is paid down we will be returning to get another vehicle. We especially will be returning to Ben. Unlike what the other reviewer said, he is an honest, laid-back, friendly sales person. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
