On my recent service visit, I was taken care of and treated with respect. Linda Briggs communicated my concerns to the technician who was working on my car. Then she informed me the results of the different inspections. She told that I would be there for 2 hours, and she respected my time. My car was ready in less than two hours. My oil change was free, as promised by Ron Stepehan, when I bought the car. Thumbs up to Linda Briggs and to Ron Stephan. I was passing through Kent, Ohio, when I ran into major engine problems in my 2016 Sorento. I limped into Streetsboro Kia where I met the counter-guy, Thomas Ritari. He was great. Despite being late on a Sunday, he worked hard to get me a loaner car, that I drove for the next two weeks. The repair of my Sorento required bringing in major parts from far away. He worked with the local and remote Kia management chain to make things as smooth as possible for me. He kept me informed of the progress on the repair of my car. The repair was completely successful, and, because of Thomas Ritari, surprisingly economical. He really knows his stuff.

Terrible communication and customer service. Told one thing by one person, then got something different. Was told that person was fired after the fact. Literally had to drive to the shop to get info about car because no one answers phones are wants to call you and tell you whats going on. Told the car would be done on a Monday, then a Tuesday then a Wednesday after I dropped it off the week prior. The car basically sat while I juggled transportation and had no clue what was going on because again no one communicates. On top of it all the charges are ridiculous. Who charges over $400 for 2 shocks? In the beginning I thought this included struts because this is what the fired person led me to believe. But no $400 for 2 shocks that I can pick up online for $75. Dishonest and overpriced. Was offered some free car washes for my troubles. I could not pay my overpriced bill fast enough and take my business elsewhere. I really thought better of this place but the service shop needs help.

Had oil change and tire rotation on my Honda Civic as they could NOT DO the transmission flush or spark-plug change. But as I no tire pressure fault when I came to the center I was surprised on the way home with such fault. Usually checking the pressure, and adding 1 or 2 psi on one or two tires the fault USUALLY goes away. I had to raise all four tires from 28psi back up to 32psi when I got home - but the fault still lingers. This is the first time I have found all tires DEFLATED to 28 psi - WHY? At 32psi the fault usually goes away - WHY NOT THIS TIME - Why should I even get the fault??

My wife's been coming here for maintenance on a more than regular basis for close to maybe two years now. The car's been burning oil more than normal that long. My wife called the dealership's maintenance and asked what she should do. Guy literally told her over the phone that she should drive it out and if the car breaks down they'll tow it. I can only assume this is to void your warranty because it would be negligence on your part. I called the dealership and brought it up, they got us an appointment. They had her do some test THREE TO FOUR TIMES where they put oil in the engine and marked the dipstick and told her she couldn't remove it to check the oil while the test was in process. Each test took 1k miles. I made sure to get this in writing. It was then determined that the catalytic converter was burning. At one point they had to change spark plugs. A quick search online of the 2015 kia soul exclaim shows literally that burning oil the way it has been, a burning catalytic converter, changing of spark plugs are all symptoms of these things engines going bad. So KIA played my wife until the warranty went out, no surprise, and I see online that there's a class action lawsuit against KIA for these things. I will actively start look into seeing if we can join it and discourage everyone I talk to from coming here.

I liked it but wasn’t really in love with it, so she searched their inventory & pulled up the car I really wanted- love at first sight. Got a nice blue Forte.
