I unexpectedly found myself shopping for a new car when my 2012 Honda Fit Sport, with a mere 79,002 miles on it, was totaled by a distracted driver who failed to notice me stopped at a Stop sign; failed to be aware that there even WAS a Stop sign. I wished to purchase another Honda Fit Sport with a variety of safety devices (Honda Sensing), but few were to be found in a four-state area. One eventually was found at a distant dealer and brought to Antrim where I test drove it.
The salesman, Greg, was a good listener and responsive. He was very knowledgeable about the car's features and fully understood what I was looking for. He was good at explaining the car's safety devices and programs that were different (an upgrade) from my 2012 model. I felt in command of the car and its assisted driver devices before I left the dealer.
Chris was efficient and clear in explaining financing features and the various warranties.
Taken together, it was a positive experience even though it began with a stressful accident. BTW, my 2012 Honda kept me safe in a serious "rear-end" accident. And I learned that once "crumple zones" crumple, you can't safely "uncrumple" them!

I went into the service department to have my vehicle inspected and an oil change. They provided me with a new car to drive instead of waiting. When I returned, my vehicle was waiting right outside the door for me. After I went down the road a little, I noticed a light on my dashboard. I called them and they asked if I could bring it right back so they could see what it was. They said it would take a little time to fix it and gave me another car to use for the night. When I returned the next day to get my car, they said they fixed it at NO CHARGE AND put 2 new tires on for free!. Very Good service and a lifetime customer. Started the process through en email with Steve Kriss who was my recommended sales adviser. Was upfront about my trade and they gave me a rough estimate of my trade in sight unseen. Steve came in on his day off on a Saturday to meet with me and take me on a test drive. After the test drive they offered more money than they initially did on the first trade offer. Checked the financing offers and they came in at 3.49 APR, but Dino Tessari took the additional step of contacting the bank directly and got my rate to 3.29. The buying process was fast and painless, the no haggle pricing was excellent and the price they had listed on the sticker was at least a $1000 less than any other dealership was offering on the same model of vehicle. Great to deal with and will most certainly do business with them again! Thank you Thomas Team Honda!

Out of State Used Vehicle Purchase - PH35
Recently purchased a used vehicle from Honda North. Not wanting to waste time since I was coming from out of state, we had agreed on a purchase purchase with contingencies prior to my arrival. One of those contingencies was the driver’s seat being reupholstered due to the fact it was stained and had a burn hole. The sales rep I dealt with stated it would be no problem and it would be replaced. The day before my arrival, I received notification from my sales rep, Ashley it had been completed. Fast forward to the next day when I perform a walk around of the vehicle. I notice there are still stains on the seat and I’m advised it hasn’t been replaced but the hole patched and the seat detailed. I tell the sales rep the stains need to be gone before I go forward with the purchase and was told the seat was going to be replaced not “fixed”. Ashley stated it was no problem. I spent the next 90 plus minutes in the waiting area. Fed up with waiting for something that should of already been taken care of, I ask to speak with Ashley. I tell Ashley it’s reasonable to be compensated for my time being wasted after I drove 3.5 hours to get there from something that should of been replaced not “fixed”. Ashley stated she understands and she’ll talk to her supervisor, Matt. I then speak with Matt and express my frustrations. Matt states they’ll fill up the gas tank (it was on half tank when I test drove it) but will not compensate me and then proceeds to tell me to go inside with Ashley to complete the sales process, which I did not appreciate.
Additionally, I fully expect any vehicle I purchase to minimally be washed and waxed with a full gas tank when I spend thousands of dollars at a dealership. I went through with the vehicle purchase because of the combination of low miles/condition of said vehicle. Not anything to due with the dealership.
Overall, I rate the dealership 3 stars for the deception and my time wasted. If you are coming from out of state to purchase a vehicle I would be cautious. They will take advantage of leverage they hold. If I was local to that area I would have walked away.
