I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt compelled to say a few words about Christian. Over the years, I’ve had more than my fair share of calls with sales professionals—some good, some not so much. But every now and then, someone stands out in a way that’s worth acknowledging. Christian is one of those people. From the beginning of our conversation, there was a calm confidence to the way he spoke. He wasn’t pushy, didn’t rely on tired sales tactics, and most importantly, he listened. It sounds simple, but it’s surprisingly rare. He asked thoughtful questions, understood my needs quickly, and communicated clearly without overselling. What I appreciated most was his professionalism. It was genuine—not rehearsed or forced. Just someone who clearly takes pride in doing his job well. I’ve been fortunate to work with many talented people throughout my career, and I can honestly say Christian is up there with the best of them. We purchased a used vehicle from this dealership with the clear understanding that certain repairs would be completed as part of the sale. Those repairs were promised before we signed and paid. Now that the vehicle is in our possession, the dealership has stopped responding to our calls and messages entirely. No follow-up, no explanation, and no accountability. This has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. If you are considering buying here, be cautious about any promises made verbally. Once the sale was complete, customer service completely disappeared.

Do not go here. I brought my car in when the EPC light came on, thinking VW would be a better choice than my trusted mechanic—big mistake. I was told I needed certain repairs, paid $1,800, and drove off the lot. The very next day the same issue came back. When I brought it back, I was told it didn’t make sense to fix my car because of all the other repairs it needed. Why wasn’t I told that before spending $1,800? There was no conversation that the fix probably wouldn’t won't be worth it until I brought it back in. They said I could apply the $1,800 toward a new vehicle, but days passed with poor communication, and it didn’t seem like my “credit” made any real difference in pricing. It felt like a way to wash their hands of the problem. When I declined to purchase a car, I spent nearly two weeks trying to reach the service manager, Lewis—leaving multiple voicemails and being told he’d call me back, which never happened. I left over 7 voicemails and messages to Lewis. I even called the general manager, who claimed I hadn’t left a message. It wasn’t until I threatened to report the issue to the state that I finally got a call, only to be told there was no way I’d get a refund while them just protecting themselves. I should have stayed with my local mechanic, Northeast Auto, who has always been transparent—something this dealership failed to provide. If you want poor communication from most staff including management, zero accountability, and no transparency, go here. If you want honesty, respect, and care, go somewhere else. I will say that Stu from the service team was helpful in getting me into loaners and responding in a timely manner—kudos to him for actually showing care. Maybe management could learn from him.

Don't be fooled by claims of a "staff turnaround" at this dealership. My experience suggests the same unprofessional culture remains. ​I purchased a 2023 cornflower blue Volkswagen Taos CPO vehicle that had a check engine light on, immediate mechanical failure, and was missing legally required CPO documentation (NJSA 56:8-68). After I contacted the lender, Ally Financial personally voided the deal due to these red flags. When I returned to the dealership to finalize the unwind, the experience was appalling. ​I dealt with a salesman named Adam who was aggressively dismissive and fast-talking. When I asked for his role/title, he refused to give a straight answer, stating only that he was "someone." After realizing the deal was dead and he wouldn't be getting a commission, his "professionalism" completely evaporated—he retrieved my original keys from the manager’s desk and physically threw them at me before walking away without a word. ​The lack of transparency, the failure to provide legal disclosures, and the staff's hostile behavior are inexcusable. If you want a dealership that follows state law and treats humans with respect, go elsewhere. Avoid Adam and this entire management team. P.S. Since returning this car, I have been receiving a flood of "Adverse Action" letters from secondary credit unions and lenders. It turns out the dealership severely overpriced this vehicle relative to its true risk profile and extensive repair history. Lenders looked at the inflated price tag on a 2023 Taos that already required a new fuel injector, head gaskets, and belts, and essentially said "no way." They are already trying to resell this exact cornflower blue Taos as "Certified Pre-Owned" again. Do your homework, pull your own records, and do not let them bury you in a predatory loan for a damaged vehicle.

I have visited this dealer three times now. Each time it's always been a great experience. Sales staff is always super friendly even if I'm not buying something. My first visit really was just to charge here because they offer a courtesy charger as long as you ask for permission. I stopped here again several months later and same situation. This time I went to the parts department and again, everyone was super friendly. Lastly today, I stopped in again to charge and was meant by Lena and again she was super friendly. Even after realizing I wasn't going to buy something she was very courteous. I will definitely consider this deal as next time I purchased a car.
